Robbie. Thank you for your great video of our village. The Braunston Canal Society (you came past us working when you came out of Braunston Tunnel) help to keep the GU and Oxford canals in good order for all. Enjoyed your drone shots. Looking forward to playing the CD. More please!!
Dont know if it would be a hastle, but more of the interior videos would be awesome, i loved seeing the guts of the cheftain you showed, and would locve to see more of all of them
great vid - nice to see stuff getting shunted around, i love it when things don't quite work out, there's always a way to make things move, i'm always having to shift stuff, and generally on my own, people are always amused at how i've done it, from shifting huge pallet shelving units from one side of the workshop to the other, chucking ejection seats in and out of aircraft, i find that gravity thing very useful, providing fingers are out the way, i know that feeling Jack so i feel your pain - nice to see the workshop spaces improving too, you'll soon be working off benches clean enough to eat off, nice polished concrete floors just like my place haha

I am sooo impressed with what those Foden recovery vehicles can do! An awesome piece of Brit Army kit! What are the Army using now for recovering Challenger2? And is it any better than the Fodens?
Mr Hewes as a fitter from down under , l thought you might have made adjustable A - Frame to fit all vehicles to make life easier so you can get to the pub quicker🍺
@@jefforymitchell5697 Poland bought licence for T-34-85 from Soviet Union and produced these tanks in ZM Łabędy from 1952 to 1956. About 1350 pieces were built. The "M2" modernisation was also made only in Polish city of Siemianowice Śląskie but both on Soviet and Polish made vehicles. The T-34-85M2 was able to deep wading (you can see the snorkel on the left side of the hull, it was mounted in place of the loaders periscope) crew was reduced to 4 people - the hull machinegun was operated by the driver. Is it possible to visit your shop? My wife happens to be British (Chelmsford). We travel there every few years to visit. Love your videos, love the uniqueness of your craft. Cheers!
If you were to practice more with any spare floodlights you have laying about could you not just jam a track on one side to make the tank turn easier to that side when you’re towing? #helpfulhints
Two things, the comment about the Foden actually being driven and not just left in gear pulling the tank on its own...funny. it doesn't matter how many times you show the Foden, it's adds a significant presence to proceedings, it's an impressive truck. The fact that many a time the vehicle is used just on tick over revs and it still pulls a significant weight behind it. Such a shame TH-cam thinks presenting the channels back catalogue of videos out of chronological sequence is a good thing.
Why do the wheels keep jumping on that Foden? Torque lockup or something? I imagine to someone in the know it's nothing to worry about but to me it looks alarming.
@@MrHewes Well thats good news, there a chance it dosent suffer from the problems of the war time T-34s. Btw, if you willing to share what are your plans for your T-34?
Probably a stupid question but as the only wat to turn the T34 was to lift the front ... could you have kept it raised and moved it around or is the crane not ma enough to take the side load as you turned ??
We have one t34/85 restored in estonia if u like to reavel and see it, we didnt make it original, we used parts what we found and we installed steering wheel for it
Damn I really wish whoever buys the T-34 want so keep that old paintjob, that looks so sexy... How much is it? Maybe I just buy it with my summer job money.
Can't wait for the next t34 repair videos, love the in depth video style
Thank you, il try and do work on the T-34 at the weekend in my free time
Love the aerosol can stuffed down the side of the T-34's engine. Also that Centurion engine bay is mint.
Cheeky can of Glowplugs
Could have let some air out the tyres if the tank didn’t fit out 😂
I was thinking the same!
Ha ha ha! screwing the valve out would be a bit of a nightmare lol😊

Are you guys going to the " TANKS, TRUCKS AND FIREPOWER " show this year ?
We were VERY impressed and a HUGE playground for ya !!
We was there last year and had a fantastic time! We plan to go this year and take more Kit along with us!
I love when they are moving the tank and how the dog is walking around and looking around as if he was a banksman 😆👌🏼
All good fun. I remember years ago someone had a pink Abbott they used to drive around in? Cant remember who it was though.
Top content again boys 😎💓💓👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Looks like the T34 doesn´t need anyhing else!!! What a design!!! Just real men can be inside a tank!!!
That T34 is a beauty !
I am sooo impressed with what those Foden recovery vehicles can do! An awesome piece of Brit Army kit! What are the Army using now for recovering Challenger2? And is it any better than the Fodens?
They now use MAN-SVR but sadly Overcomplicated safety features let them down over the classic Fodens!
Ted is he best thing about this channel, more Ted!
Oh there will be more !
4:53 That hat explains those good wrenching skills.
Ever thought of getting a Mk III AEC 6x6 recovery vehicle? It was the predecessor to the Foden. Would be nice to compare the 2.
O'l mate Jack drifting alright, showing the racer boys how its done with a JCB 👏
Your right ignoring people who think they know better!! I do it all the time !!!! MINT👌

the T34/85 you have is a Polish T34/85M2 similar to the Soviet 1969 model, adding outside storage, deep paddling kit and snorkel
Yep, it's Polish. Very early production model - turret serial number '6'.
Polish writing all over the inside of it in the other videos.
Do you know if these were designed and built in Poland or were they made elsewhere and transported?

never boring thanks for video 👍
It will be nice to see the t34 running

we not gonna talk about the beanie at 4:54
Amazing work!!!
4:50 respectable beanie
Much prefer this format with a concise clear narration. Detailed, informative and educational, without the cabaret of pal FM.
But we love the boring, Foden’s rock! ❤

i love your videos, they always make me laugh 😆
Gotta love those fodens.
I’m curious do the brakes on the t34 work? Would they help maneuver it around a corner if they did?
Love the videos did you try crisscrossing 2 chains to pull the T34 it might help
Thanks again
LO! I pulled down a rather large hanger door at CVD Ashchurch, Nr Tewsbury in 1975, with a mobile crane........ooops!
I would love to be able to have a look around your tanks.
How did you arrange for a sunny day to film this?

What is the numbers on the side and did it get combat use, from the markings of the 7th guard separate heavy tank brigade
Diane is certainly more attractive that the real Flabapottamus!
Manoeuvring the tank when towing - what if you jump in the driver seat and use the levers to steer it?
god i would love to work here!!
Re the A frame to move tanks ect.
Could you make a adjustable one?
Why do the wheels keep jumping on that Foden? Torque lockup or something? I imagine to someone in the know it's nothing to worry about but to me it looks alarming.
We have 2 Fodens both do it so I’m not gunner sweat 🤣

Amazing tank 😍
" Ignore all of them" look like that strategy doesn't work either!!
Probably a stupid question but as the only wat to turn the T34 was to lift the front ... could you have kept it raised and moved it around or is the crane not ma enough to take the side load as you turned ??
The slew motor on the Crain wouldn’t be able to manage that sort of drag
how long before a low entry bar is fitted to protect the shed
How many tanks do you have?
How do you get a job like this, I'm green with envy. Keep 'em coming guys.
Good thumbnail
The Fodens make the tanks look rather rinky dinky.
How the hell did you move these things before the fodens?

i love the T34
I think Vlad might want it back soon...
I just like the t34/85 dose the government take the britches out of the tanks an seal the barrel so it can't be fired
What do a reasonable Foden go for? 15 - 20K?
Yes plus Vodka and tonic…
it is a Tatra truck?
Awesome
Just let a little air out the tyres. Drops the height of the vehicle a couple extra inches. Oh wait
can't beat a Foden, the only problem, in confined spaces, the bastard fumes make you cry.......
They sure do
For the love of god will you tighten up the Foden crane hook when you’re driving it about to stop it smashing around.
🤣 I like it jingling about, it reminds me it is still there
