Luckily I havent put it on yet, so cleaning up burrs will be less dirty lol. Im just worried about touque for hills. I do have a 44 tooth. think i might bump it up a bit though. Trying to find a rear tire that is skinny and extra large I think 29” with a reverse pedal break and disc break option on it. Do I need to have one custom built?
I'm running two different engines. One is a Run Well and the other is a ZEDA engine. Both are ported, balanced cranks, Tuned pipes, High Compression heads, Big Box Racing Reeds, Hotter Plugs, longer Intake Tube, and finally a Richer Main Carburetor Jet. Fuel Mix is 50 to 1, Stelle Chainsaw Full Synthetic Oil and 92 octane gasoline. Stock these engines put out about 2.2 Horsepower. With my Mods and if I ran the math correctly, I'm getting about 9.2865 Horsepower. The bike is an Aluminum Flat Frame 26 in. Beach Cruiser, running 2.25 wide Tires at 50 lbs. This thing can really get up and go, climbs the hills like a goat. What a hobby. Thanks for the info.
Pro tip: with the proper piston that matches the bottom end, all the cylinders have similar enough port timing to be inter-changeable. I was hard up and needed an emergency jug replacement and discovered my cylinder from an older "type A" piston engine worked with my Zeda80, which has the longer connecting rod, and requires the type "B" style piston or as Amazon usually calls them, "high hole" piston. Only thing is, the stud spacing on the intake port- it's either 32mm or 40mm and youd have to get a different intake pipe if you changed cylinders and ended up with a different measurement, but I assure you the cylinders will work in every aspect but that one.

@@ZampostOk Some are better than others. Most are simply luck. If anyone is telling you a motor has been precision balanced for less than $300, they are lying
@@HughesMotorized anything cheaper than that lol?
Thanks so much for the info! i was going to buy a bike kit from Zoombicycles and was wondering if you knew anything about them or honestly just had any suggestions for what kit i should get. (its going to be my first one) i want to get a 80 cc or 100 cc motor so please let me know what you recommend!
It's hard to find them at a decent price lately. They are all pretty much the same. You have to sort thru and make them run good is my experience
Dude, this is some good info.
Glad you think so!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING
What's your opinion of the 2 stroke BT80 electric start motors?
I have yet to build one . I figure the extra components might be sketchy and I'd have issues w/ replacement parts so I've avoided them
Thx for this!
How about Skyhawk motor
all brands are pretty much hit or miss. ThatsDax has some of the best out there however one should sort thru all 2 stroke motors
looking at bikeberry stage 4 kit and a few other things to put on a Scwhinn OCC. Im hearing shitty and non shitty review about BBR tuning but not familiar with any other companys and would rather stay away from ebay
Bikeberry is decent, you still need to inspect the cylinder, cylinder studs, gaskets, head and the like.
Epic intro
i got a 80 dollar 80cc kit and it outperformed my friend's 220 dollar 100cc kit...
Great info wow.
Glad it was helpful!
