Very rarely do I hear a cover that is as good, if not better than the original. I love Rammstein, but I think I prefer this version of Ohne Dich. The violin, the bagpipes and that sweet voice just make the song come alive!

Nice cover Job. I'm German, my only criticism is you need to learn the "Umlaut" ...those funny vowels with two dots overhead (however, it is charming you don't do these). Everything else was nice. It's hard to mess up a good song, if one is part of a good band, which you obviously are. So good luck for the future. BTW; : that particular song is about as German as it can get nowadays. Stripped of effects, reduced to piano and voice, it would fit in well with the large collection of songs taught at conservatories as "German Lied". Investigating Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler might open up a few more chilling, daunting, and disturbing opportunities for further cover versions. Oh, Beethoven also wrote a bunch of English,Scottish, Welsh and Irish Songs.Good stuff. Greetings.
