    I have a 100/100/17" which equates to 4.75" for my rear tire. It fits so fucking well on the talaria, the wheels are dished a small amount, didn't have to do anything to the tire. This is the biggest tire you can fit on the Talaria, period. There are only a few tire brands that use this size so it's not for everyone but I love them. The tire is IRC Enduro VE33 100/100/17"

    19/16 really is the best combo.

    Thanks for the info.I have the same tyre in 100/100×18 and am waiting for the gritshift spacer kit for the wheel.hoping it fits without too much drama 🤞

    That’s so much effort. I bought a dished wheel from a pro company. Also my set up is only 19x16. 21 front would help getting over huge rock stair cases. Learning to wheelie would be helpful too

    That rear tyre is an oem fit to euro enduro 2strokes. Eg my beta 250rr which I actually went down slightly in size.
    Crazy how you managed to make it fit!! The bike will benefit from a smaller size using a rim lock running say 5psi for $120

      Cheers, that makes sense I bought the tyre at a gas gas and sherco dealer!

      Fitted to sherco. Btw The knobs are actually shorter for FIM approval in certain events (less terrain damage) but may actually benefit your setup as well as the v soft grippy compound.
      Maybe a larger rear sprocket / extend chain will offset some of the gearing changes. Post a ride video the talaria tractor!

      @@mikeaust80 hahaha the tractor indeed. I have changed to a 60T to compensate for weight last night with a longer chain indeed. It will suck more battery for sure ! i also upgraded the rear spring to handle the heavier tyre, and shimano pads for now to get more stopping power. Once i have the sprocket spacer made, i will definitely do a video ! cheers

      Nice one. I’m no suspension expert but the heavier wheel would add unsprung mass which I thought would be more a valving change?
      Run that rear nice and low. Maybe a little lower initially until the carcass softens which doesn’t take long at all. For comparison I weigh 77kg ungeared / 112kg bike / 8psi 110/100/18 xc scorpion (thin walled like the Michelin you have) / greased Dunlop hd tube / smash rocks reasonably hard / never dented rear. Rim. Im partial to mousse on the front though
      Good luck !

    i hear with a 21 inch front tire and bottom out forks on jumps can rip off your mud guard. for me being only 140 pounds the stock forks outperform pro forks.... i can launch to the moon and barely bottom out and this is how you want your forks to bottom out on your biggest send and should meet all the needs of other ride conditions

    Are those warp 9 pegs? What did you need to modify to make them work?

    • @jglaine
      @jglaine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're from aebikes, not sure which brand. It requires a spacer for the overall width, and a spacer at rhe bottom of the bracket to lift the peg levelled with the bike. but they work

    Hey, been thinking about getting a 100/90 - 19 wheel for the back but im not sure it will fit its aprox 3mm bigger diameter so 1.5mm on each side. Do you think it will fit?

    • @ElliotJonsson-uq3pr
      @ElliotJonsson-uq3pr ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry its about 2cm smaller in diameter

    • @jglaine
      @jglaine  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ElliotJonsson-uq3pr i rekon it will fit mate. You may have to "maybe" offset the hub slightly to avoid the chain, but doubt it
