The POW block gets rid of racers’ items ahead of you. So if you use it you have a better chance of getting in first if they had a red shell and you got rid of them...

I honestly find Mario Kart Wii to be the hardest one in my opinion, I always struggle with this one specifically.

Must be like the only one you played. Super Circuit, Super Mario Kart, and Mario Kart 64 are all harder. Unless you mean Modern MK games, then I can see what you are talking about, but MKDS still had Snaking which made it harder.

The only thinf why this game is hard are the blue shells. There were 5 of them in a race not even frantic

I remember when I was like 9 I used to think Crash Bandicoot was on the roster and I tried everything to unlock him. I think I misread something in a Guinness World Gaming Book, which is why I believed it.

By far my favorite Mario Kart game. So many amazing stages, characters, but the most important one, is the memories. I remember getting a WII along with Mario Kart Wii and playing it all the time with my parents when I was much younger. Great times.

Once I as playing Mario Raceway in Grand Prix and it was nearly the end of the 3rd lap and I was 3rd and Waluigi was barely ahead and Mario was way ahead. I just accepted Waluigi and Mario would beat me and I would accept 3rd. However, in the last straightaway, Waluigi manage to speed up and he was neck to neck with Mario but right before the finish line, a blue shell came and exploded on both Mario and Waluigi, flinging them both high in the air and because of this delay (I was not that far behind), I managed to cross the line first.

Anyway, personally my favorite Mario Kart game ever: adorable mechanics, a large variety of items to use, so many roads and,amusing online modes/events (back in the time, at least) and most of all the miniturbo system,in my opinion the most beautiful of those all!

Seeing all these tracks is like a slap in the face by pure nostalgia and I love it so much
I actually love the MK Wii version of Rainbow Road. At first you end up falling a lot, but once you get used to it, it gets really fun to dash and jump over the gaps. Not to mention the music is also great.

Without a doubt, MKWii had the largest jump in graphics and content quality compared to any of its predecessors, and still looks far better than MK7, even the same as MK8 when played on Wii U. If that doesn't show you how much effort was put into it, with all the fanbase, online racing, and legacy as well, then I don't know what can top it.

I love both of them! Screw 3DS Rainbow Road for overshadowed the REAL BEST Rainbow Road and the Mario Kart 8 (Deluxe) remake for making Wario's Gold Mine easier by putting needless railings in parts that were perfect without them!

i should mention that Kart Wars with Aggressive Items and Mirror Mode, along with All karts gets CRAZY at least half way through, specially if its set to Random and 32 races, then you got a good game ahead of you
I remember mario kart wii being one of my favorite games to play on the wii and I think that it holds up pretty great to this day.
