This series of commercials Havoline made for 1993 were so classic, the drivers, and Paul Newman's narration definitely show racing's glory era. ESPECIALLY INDYCAR!!!
Imagine now, if somebody like Fernando Allonso or Lewis Hamilton abandoned F1 to come race IndyCar. Very unlikely, but would give the series great respect as CART had when Mansell came to race CART in 1993.

Fernando Alonso did. Couldn't qualify for Indy 500 and now is back in F1.
@@kg0173 he led laps and was in contention all day in his rookie run until the engine let go...
@ltnascar I agree, I think if he had stuck around for the '95 season there's a very good chance he might have won a second championship.
