My favorite American racing driver when I was a kid. Picked up with him winning Indy in '64. I remember his crash at Riverside in '65 the time he was pronounced dead at the scene by the track doctor only to be pulled out of his car by Parnelli Jones who had stopped to help when he saw A.J. had a mouth full of dirt and scooped it out of his mouth literally saving his life. An unbelieveable but absolutely true story. God Bless both P.J. and A.J. Foyt Both are still here.
This vid was HILARIOUS! On the wall at AJ’s Wine Vault, there’s a pic of AJ and a lion and I wondered, “why would AJ mess with a Lion?🦁 Now the story can be told…😄
What an unbelievably talented man and race car driver 👍🏁🏆🏁 He has defied death so many times but GOD WASN'T READY FOR AJ FOYT,YET!!! THIS MAN IS LEGENDARY FOR HARD RACING BUT DOING IT ON HIS OWN TERMS!!! THANKS FOR SHARING THIS PRECIOUS PRICELESS TREASURED BLESSING AND MEMORIES FOR A LIFETIME 💞 🤗 💞🙏🏻🙏🏻 Some of these young driver's racing cup and exfinity should be made to watch the original driver's that started Nascar and prayerfully, they'll understand who the real hero's are and how Nascar came to be from it's humble beginnings and plus that may understand the respect aspect of racing in whatever form you choose, instead of being hot headed and doing stuff on purpose to other driver's!!!Nascar please consider this because these young kids haven't a clue how difficult it was for these driver's from Nascar's inception!! Some want whine, moan, complain etcetera when they literally have a computer doing most everything for them except driving!!! They would get an education about how difficult it was to drive a car from the 50's, 60's, 70's. Yes ,on occasion tempers would flare but these grown men settled their squabbles and went back racing!!!! Thanks for sharing this amazing story!! WHAT A PRICELESS TREASURED BLESSING AND MEMORIES FOR A LIFETIME 💞🤗💞🏁🏆🏁
@@charlesintestine only the moment of the wreck. nothing was mentioned about him being pronounce dead by the track doctor at the scene or Parnelli Jones saving his life.

It's only about time. The best to ever hold a steering wheel!
Maybe Ferrucci can get AJ into victory lane one last time tomorrow…
My opinion The Babe Ruth of all Open Wheel Racing
I'm surprised His bad wreck in the nascar race at riverside in 1965 wasn't in this.
5:02 mark.
