Thank you for your videos. I'm so tired of fan boy/girl who have no culinary skills critique fine dining. It's nice to see a Chef do this and get a nonbiased opinion. Also, not to have to watch them eat, like a bunch of hillbillies at a BBQ.

Can’t wait to see this channel grow! Definitely found a new niche in the culinary review industry. High quality, professionally reviewed, honest, narrated rather than in person. This adds a new level to the food review category on TH-cam . With most reviews being in person and during the meal it’s amazing to let the experience happen and have the review after to truly showcase the experience. Felt like I was there! I will continue to be a fan if the videos stay this amazing.

They've got great thumbnails, so they will get quite a few clicks. And the videos are great too, so they'll get lots of people watching the whole thing. Plus, look at how man comments they're getting! I suspect this isn't the first youtube channel the makers have developed. I really liked this video. The tone is great. I look forward to more.

The culinary world needs more of this style of critique. The overview spans the environment, service, personality and food and is distilled through a lens that compares the experience to the expectation that the organisation has advertised. The critique has more weight coming from someone that has walked that mile with their establishment and is aware of the challenges. The bullet points are not personal and are focused on the product and service on the table. If I were Geranium, I would find this fair and reasonable, with enough construction on where they could focus to make the final delivery that tad more cohesive.

I've eaten at a few other Michelin star restaurants including another 3-star place, and they've been good, but Geranium just absolutely blew them away.
It was expensive - cost about as much as the rest of our 1-week holiday in Copenhagen, even without the wine pairing - but very worth it.

I live in Copenhagen and have tried all the nice ones over the years, Geranium, Noma, Era Ora etc. We do not go to these places for food, but for food art, as you say. Excellent review, and your criticism was justified. As further criticism, I find it very strange that Geranium has not responded to this video. I would have expected that, as I expect they take it seriously and immediately take steps to solve the two issues. Young waiters is definately one of the underlying problems here, but in Denmark there is widespread ageist discrimination, and they probably also barely pay the waiters anything, expecting them, as well as the chefs, to work very hard and long hours at top level for next to nothing.

My personal opinion is that Michelin stars are a license to steal and elevate the chef above the customer. In my last trip to Modena, Italy, my best meal was at the cheapest, most modest family run restaurant (Osteria Santa Chiara), which has no stars, and our worst meal was at Osteria Francescana, where we paid $1,200 for two people to pay homage to Massimo Bottura. Francescana was so disappointing and unfortunately, is consistent with other michelin star restaurants. The juice is not worth the squeeze.

I do drink alcohol, but find it fun to try the non-alcoholic pairing at these types of restaurants. It’s usually quite creative and an interesting accompaniment to the food.

I feel like michelin star restaurants are for a certain type of people, and id wager that the majority of the people watching this aren't the type that would go to a really fancy restaurant just because it has michelin stars. Me...? Id rather just hit up some local mom and pop hole in the wall joint, because they always have the tastiest food. My city has some great asian and mexican places. And you also get the best kind of service: take it home to eat in private, with friends or just by yourself, and some netflix/youtube to go along with it, without strangers staring at you :p

Yeah, fine dining isn't about having a meal, it's about the art. It really is like going to a fancy art exhibit except you get taste and smell on top of the visuals.

I went to 2 stars Michelin before, and for a moment I weept, because I know how it feels to be overwhelmed by visual, scent, flavor and taste.
I don't really get what criticism might be, other than envy. I'm definitely not a rich guy, but why the hell shouldn't I spend 300/400€ for a birthday or anniversary present by going to a Michelin restaurant...?
If you rather spend your money otherwise, please do it, but also please don't lecture other people.
    Peace ☮️

So basically a meal for 2 here is going to cost me over 1000 Euros.... and I can't even eat Meat. The wine flights are priced at ridiculous and unjustified levels. The food looks absolutely stunning but in this current World climate this is bordering on Culinary Theft. Needless to say I'll never be dining here.

You pay for the experience and the artisan's work which is a common scenario for tasting menus in every fine dining experience. For someone who has foodie on their name, you clearly don't understand this at all. Why are you even watching in the first place 🤣

You could have just said nothing...rather than firing some butthurt passive-agressive comments at someone else's passion and livelihood. It's not robbery....no-one is forced to eat at this restaurant. And if people choose not to he will go out of business. But equally, if people do choose to spend their money on his food then why is it causing you a problem?
Who's your next target? Ferrari? Van Gogh?

It is nice to see this sort of place but I admit that my foodie appreciation goes in another direction. I would never, ever pay the price, in spite of having the ability. I leave this sort of place to the people that get all sweaty about overly fussy food. Frankly, the best meal I ever had was in an obscure sushi bar, in a building that was nearly impossible to find, where I was presented with preparations so ethereal that the taste lingers a year later. To each his own I suppose.

I find this video about Geranium restaurant quite fascinating. The introduction of the head chef, Rasmus Kofoed, is quite impressive, especially since he is the only chef to have won bronze, silver, and gold in the Bocuse d’Or. It's also interesting to see that the restaurant is located inside a football stadium, and the panoramic view of the city and sea from the 8th floor is breathtaking. The interior of the restaurant is minimalist yet luxurious, with marble-topped wooden tables and floral accents on the walls. I appreciate the innovation of the pescetarian menu, and the dishes served are all natural and refined. The servers are young and international, with a friendly and easy-going attitude, which is rare in a 3 Michelin star restaurant. The finishing area of the kitchen is open, adding another level of excitement to the experience. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the flavors are sharp and delicious. Overall, I think the Geranium restaurant provides a unique and memorable fine dining experience.

These videos are real fun to watch and professionally put together. Fine dining is not for me though, I've tried tasting menus a few timrs and realized I don't have the sophisticated pallate necessary to apreciate the taste of most of these dishes. But I do value the effort and artistry so this channel is perfect (and free to watch!)
