I served as a missionary south of San Antonio '89-'91 and one of my fondest memories is of our ward mission leader, a convert and very loving man. This was his favorite hymn and he used to have us all join with him in singing this at EVERY baptismal service (of which we were blessed to have many). He sang this at the top of his voice with tears streaming down his face. He will love this version of your song. And so do I! Well done!
Mark, my mission president loved this hymn and sang it often at zone conferences and special occasions. 🎶 It touched me deeply each time as I was a convert and it was one of the few hymns in our hymnal that was familiar to me growing up. 😊
What a wonderful experience listening to these, dedicated young people serving the Lord as missionaries, sing the familiar hymns, using their voices to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through song. May I remind everyone of the service of our, brothers and sisters, in the military. I've been listening to this song with my eyes full of tears. Seeing these young men and women brought me back in time almost a quarter of century ago, when I baptized in this church I didn't know of until three years earlier. Now I'm coming back to the father's house, after many years of absence and sin, and I'm feeling a joy beyond compare. I pray for my daughter, so that she can experience Father and Son love. Amen

That was beautiful .......seems like yesterday I served a mission in Australia and that was over 50 years ago now, that doesn't even seem possible that time has gone by so quickly ........enjoy your young lives and don't ever give up your testimony of this Gospel .........I left one time for a couple of years and studied all the anti-mormon stuff and prayed and had miracles happen in my life and now I'm back in the Church and even stronger than before.
