I like your little gonk I will give them a try love the spanner idea will have to pick up a couple and make them in several dif sizes is that an Axminster chuck ?

I can drill a 5mm hole in one piece and then use a 5mm spanner to make a dowel and I know that it will fit perfectly every time... The chuck is a Record Power Sc2... the 1st shot with the standard jaws and the second shot with dome jaws which are great for holding thin objects... Take care my friend...All the best.....Andy
