When Gabby says, “We’ve adapted before,” she briefly takes on an art style that reminds me of older storybooks and greeting cards. I wonder if these characters first began helping children through picture books, possibly changing the text each time they were read?
I appreciate that the religious aspects of this series aren't twisted to be evil or condescending. Angel Gabby is a messanger from heaven and there's no twist. She's just a good person. It's refreshing.
I agree. A lot of the other religious things always ends up being twisted and just turning it into something that is just honestly I don't even know what word to use for this one. But it does feel nice to have something like Angel hare. It is the kind of "Religious" you actually expect to see. It was awesome
@@llewelynshingler2173I'm actually not so sure based on the split second flash at :55. It appears she takes the form of whatever brings a child comfort. For Jonah, it just so happened to be a hare.
Love how this series has basically subverted the old Analog Horror "Old TV show only I remember" trope, with the angel characters all being good people. Even if Zagzagel comes off rough around the edges, he's still a good guy who was trying to help his friend.
@@jan_haraldeh, not really, considering that this is an ongoing story that has long moved on from old tapes and now takes place on the internet, I would say it’s more of a sci-fi show now with small hints of horror.
Considering how quick he was to cut Francis off about his relationship with Gabby, I'm inclined to believe that they were closer than friends. Lovers maybe? I could be wrong but he was so protective about the topic not being discussed, it had to be something he was embarrassed about n I i don't think being 'just friends' would warrant such a reaction.
It's extremely good that this story ends with "make me forget again" *not* being the right answer, but simply realizing that everyone involved isn't perfect, but can help each other. It's an extremely important message, especially today. People can be extremely different, alien to each other, but still, everyone can team up, be good friends, everything. And most importantly, the friendship Gabby and Jonah had isn't taken as a bad thing or that Jonah's wrong for seeking comfort and help from a very close friend. A lot of series, even at this point, would have made the moral be 'you need to live on your own now' rather than this one's message which is closer to 'you can and should continue to spend time with, rely on, and be relied on, by others.' I don't know if this is really commented enough but this is legimiately one of the best works of Christian fiction on the internet right now.
Yeah I was worried that's where it was heading too. You can be all grown up and still love and appreciate the same things as you did when you were young, even with a new perspective. The same things can make you feel safe and loved, and while you're allowed to move on, it shouldn't be taken as a necessary step. Even something seemingly all-encompassing can become 'just' another important thing in a rich tapestry of whatever things you consider important (something that I, as a neuro-divergent kid, had a lot of trouble with), and that's a good thing. Your love isn't being diminished, your capacity to love is growing, and it can feel similar at times. As a smartass atheist kid I think I'd still have appreciated a Gabby. I can take issue with the source while still appreciating the message.
The thing that gets me the most about that is Zagzagel being the one to go “What are you talking about?! She’s your FRIEND!” Like he doesn’t much care about Jonah but he’s the first one to say that idea of just leaving is crazy
I love how all of the characters are genuinely good people. There’s no “secretly a demon” or “evil plot”, there’s just a wholesome story. I love it. I was expecting analog horror but I’m glad this isn’t that
There have been hints of something evil in the story, though. Francis the badger has indicated an interest in occult or pagan topics, and even painted some symbols on easter eggs. In the episode previous to this one there was audio of some kind of pact being made towards the end that seemed like a deal with the devil kind of scenario. I don't think Gabby is evil, though. Even though initially it made it seem like she encouraged Jonah to murder his abusive father, I don't think that's the case. We know that he disassembled the gun under her instruction and hid the parts. I think that either averted the father shooting him and/or his mother, or put Jonah in a position to defend himself and/or his mother. She's just the archangel Gabriel. So I trust her mostly, but I do think there's some evil presence that will be revealed in time.
I like to think Jonah becoming Gabby’s “guy on the outside” means that he takes up a career helping children in need, taking on the spirit of her work by being there for others the way Gabby was there for him; maybe as a social worker or something like that. I think that’d be kinda sweet ❤
I think he'd certainly trend that way, but if you look at the very last shot of the video Jonah's uploading something, and wearing a cap with the Wreath of Life production company. Which created the original Angel Hare (and likely Wylde Hare) cartoons, and unless I miss my mark were intentionally linking angels to their productions. Not sure if he's actually taking a job with them or if it's symbolic, but the message is clear that J-dog just got a new job as a producer. If streaming works like broadcasting does for them, then a clever man could put Gabs and Zag in touch with the ENTIRE WORLD. A few TH-cam Kids channels would provide angelic counseling services to literal millions!
Remember, Detective Zag mentions Jonah wasn't the first guy on the outside. In the first Angel Hare season there's a guy named Keith who was connected to the AH property and it's distribution, but he may not be the first either. A hint is How Gabby's appearance changes in the last scenes with all the open media windows, one looks like an early 20th century rabbit illustration. Also Francis rendered Gabby in oddly archaic art forms, right to her possible original form which looks a lot like biblical representations of angels (also damn alien when you use literal descs). I'm an comic illustrator, noticing these details is my job
@@jamespage4809from the end, isnt her being contacted by and having to respons to tons of peoples simulteanouslt during the livestream while in a media not adapted for it the very reason she is split tho? Also god damn if it's available 24/7 on the internet that poor rabbit is gonna have to deal with so much innapropriate stuff
@@moonjumper6197 Pretty sure Gabby only lives when she is live. Once the lives are over, her actions get written in stone. The original live, when recorded would show an ordinary script but if recorded through something like a VCR, the interaction that happened on the device would be recorded. So like, Hare could be there for all the children at the same time.
Holy crow! that was NOT the ending I expected. We got not only a happy ending, but a mega-happy ending: Gabby made whole, Gabby and Jonah able to be together, PLUS "...and the adventure continues." I came into this expecting it to be a creepypasta story, and this surprised me and warmed my heart. Thank you so much.
@Spino-hx2mr it's a classic way to end a story without bringing the characters to a final resolution. It is like the way many Conan novels ended, with something like "... and he carved out his own kingdom, by his own hands, and he wore his crown upon a troubled brow. But that is another story..." Here we have Gabby healed, Jacob and Gabby reunited, but Gabby still has more troubled kids to help, only now she has Jacob to help HER, "working with someone on the outside again," as Zaggy put it. Our time with Gabby and Jacob may be over, but they have not reached the end of their own story.
Yeah, it's kind-of wild. I completely came into this expecting a super dark edgy twist about how Gabby was manipulating Jonah and that his dad wasn't really abusive or something, but nope! It's just kind-of a good story about dealing with bad situations and learning that it's okay to trust and open up to people again, even if you've been traumatized. I think, weirdly, the tropes of indie horror actually help with that, right? We, as an audience, are so used to dealing with suffering and hurt ourselves that it's genuinely refreshing to see that even people we're afraid of can still be good and help out. On one hand, sure, this isn't the horror series I was expecting it to be. But it's still genuinely cool and I hope it's able to continue going on to find ways to help people through their trauma, right? If anything, it feels like it can evolve so much more now that it's able to move into the 'real world' and be more unshackled by the conventions of what it started as, right? And I'm excited to see what that means and what it turns into over time.
The ending was spot on. Jonah touching the screen again and Gabby becoming whole...perfect! Despite everything that happened...the sun DID rise again. Thank you!
Even though I'm an atheist the idea of angels using the internet to communicate is wildly fascinating. Loved this series, whole new direction from all the other analog series I've seen
Oh i like it alot. Hell it's very practical in a way. Gabby helping jona "do what he must" is very good even if some readings of the bible probably disagree. It's a great message really and if it ends here it'd be fine
it's a reverse Mandela catalogue if you think about it. in Mandela catalogue the Angels (or Devils, or Aliens) are using the TV to destroy humanity. here, they're uing it to help people.
atheism does not get in the way of enjoying any type of media that has religious themes. after all, it is fictional media. you can use your creativity with it and make things like angel hare
I've only known about Angel Hare for a week, but in that short time, it's easily become one of my favorite web series ever. Thank you Rachel and Hannah, for creating something special that I'll never forget.
@@TheEastPatchI’m sorry to bother but I’m kinda confused about the ending before the credits role…. So what will be Jonah’s role? Sorry again to bother..
“We don’t have to get dramatic,” Zag says, back to the camera and face in shadow… What an incredible ending to an incredible series! I’m so glad I found this.
I love how the tapes go on to describe Jonah’s struggles, and how Angel Gabby was there for him, but the Cases are detailing Gabby’s own struggles, and how in the end they can be there for each other. So wholesome omfg im gonna die 😭😭
this series reply to the question: "can you make a Christian Analogue Horror series that's respectful to the faith and doesn't use the same old cliche 'religion is evil?'" Answer: yes, you can. Hell yes you can! I'm passing a very rough time and this series has touched me deeply. Thank you for making this masterpiece. Angel Hare and Faith: the Unholy Trinity are my new favorite Christian works. we Christians need more works like this.
I know that this is a weird thing to say, but I wish Gabby, Francis and Zag good luck on "adapting to the internet" thing. It's a horrifying, but beautiful platform to work with. I'm rooting for you guys. :D
Oh god it's gonna be a nightmare. Part of me thinks it'd be funny if this was all a big announcement for a Christian vtuber but also i logically know that NO DEFINITELY DO NOT DO THAT. I guesse gabby is off to broadcast messages and morals and stuff and maybe be there for some kids who need it. Hell i don't really know where to take this to keep from getting sad pr cynical. Maybe just try and teach people things. It is definitely an educational place.
@@LizardWizard444yeah if she gets put on the internet, where anyone can play the media at any time, as soon as words of her sentience spread out that poor rabbit is gonna be exposed to so much shit
As a Christian, I'm happy to see a series that uses these concepts in a more positive and joyful way, I really enjoyed the theme of the series and how it all ended in the end God bless all of you who made this project move forward
This was genuinely beautiful. I'm so, *so* glad that religion was used in a way so unlike analogue horror before this. As someone with complicated feelings on religion, especially the one depicted here, it's refreshing that this was handled with respect while still making something new out of it. A different take on angels, that Zag is trying to move with the tide, much preferring the subtle approach while Gabby resists and tries to use lessons of old to instill steadfast faith in people. This was a breath of fresh air, I'm just sad I wasn't around while it was going!
It definitely felt like the perfect balance with the religious stuff. Sometimes you get analog series and the like which feel like they get way to heavy handed with it
I love how real this is, it really feels like it could be real, there's no "monster, just because", there's no "innocent is actually evil, just because", it all makes sense, and speaks directly... love the few things like this, which have not JUST heart, but also *soul* poured into it, reflecting the people making it, and the world they live in... everyone's worlds are different, and this one is a lovely one...
Angel Gabby and Angel Zag, while i am not a believer, you two are incredibly inspirational in your drive and motivation to do good and the right thing. And Francis, you are a pillar of positivity and kindness. All of you give me hope (something i havent had in a while), and i wish you all the absolute best.
That's some incredible analog horror right there. Jonah has an emotional attachment to Gabby but has to face the reality that other people also like her. Loved that touch.
Thanks for coming along for the ride to find Gabs! Its been a true honor to bring Zagzagel to life, and this show has been so awesome to be apart of. Remember, in each one of us there is a kid version of us we gotta take care of. In doing so, that kid will take care of you right back! Love yourself, and be the reason someone smiles. Much love, Joey
Thanks so much for helping to voice this! Zag is hysterical, in both shows. Wylde Hare actually looks like a neat show, especially if they leaned into that shadowy style. Also, I'm unsure why, but I feel like at some point Zag should have called someone a palooka. That would be the greatest G-rated detective insult ever, and I would bust a gut laughing!
This is probably the only "analogue" story on TH-cam I've actually emotionally connected with. Thank you for making something so wholesome and religiously respectful at the same time. It was incredibly creative how you took the usual suspects of internet horror (down to the thumbnails!) and subverted literally all of it to something nice. The internet needs more shows like Angel Hare!
I honestly didn't expect such an uplifting ending, it's refreshing that a religious themed series doesn't have a secret evil about it. Gabriel was just lost and confused at how the Internet worked and wanted to help all of the children she could. I like that twist. These beings that are as old as time itself needing to adapt to new technology to help people.
I've been thinking so much about what makes this effective. There's something I read long ago about communicating pain effectively in writing. One doesn't draw an egg by taking a black marker and drawing the outline. You draw around it. Same with trauma. You don't directly confront it. You focus on the effects and let your mind fill in the blanks. This series does a PHENOMENAL job of drawing that egg.
As if Case 6 from Season 1 wasn't enough to melt my heart with adorableness. You just had to melt my heart even more with this one. This was a really nice and wholesome analog horror series from start to finish. A good ending for a good series.
Angel hare thus far is probably the most enginuitive analog series on TH-cam, with subtle creepy imagery but no real antagonist. Even despite the needs of troubled children across the internet, she still continues to help Jonah and his problems. It’s a wonderful feeling when someone important still helps you through and through despite the pain they’re facing
Came here from Wendigoons stream and watched the entire series, it's honestly managed to touch me in a way that media hasn't managed to in years. It's a great series, and I hope to God that it'll continue someday and answer some of the questions we're left with and to prove Iceberg Boy wrong. And now I'm interested in all of the series that your group has made. This ending just feels so bittersweet to me and I don't know why, I honestly hope your entire group continues Angel Hare.
The best thing about it, the most surprising thing, the most revolutionary twist about it all... is that it's based on Christian belief and yet Christianity isn't mocked, twisted, made evil or ominous in any way. Like, from the first second of this series you expect the angel bunny to become some kind of a twisted creepy monster, right? It quoted the Bible, which in 99% of modern media would mean it's some kind of a monster, a demon, because that's what they believe to be subversive. Yet, here is the real subversion of expectations! The angel turns out to be an actual angel and we don't even get to see the demons. Thank you so much for this. And I'm not saying this because I'm religious, but because it's such an amazing breath of fresh air compared to mostly everything else in this genre. It almost sounds stupid, but it's the truth! "Good little bunny cartoon character with a pleasant voice turned out to be a good little bunny cartoon character with a pleasant voice" is one of the most original twist endings in modern media :D
This right here, is a new genre of analog content and I was here for it until the very end! The series was initially recommended by someone in the comment section of someone that I also watch from time to time and initially I came here with sub par expectations. Needless to say, after everything I've seen, I'm nothing short of blown away. We need more people like you that can expand the analog video genre into something so much more. Angel Hare was nothing short of legendary. I can't wait to see where this channel goes moving forward, and wishing all the best to the team who made this series a reality. Until we call again 🐇 ❤
Thank you for the lovely and touching words. I can't express how much it means to us, and we're truly thankful you took the time to share so generously with us.
This show was such a joy to voice in, and it's always wonderful working with you two (and the other VAs). The ending was delightful and a perfect finale to the season/series... which ever direction this ends up going. I'm really excited to see what you come up with next.
More than half the reason Gabby doesn't read as sinister is due to the way she sounds, and the care in her voice. Before I watched this I would be very confused if asked to describe how a literal angel masquerading as a cartoon character would sound but this would be it! Thank you so much for helping to put this together, it was a true delight!
This is honestly the cutest and sweetest analog horror I've seen. Gabby being happy to have Jonah back was heartwarming. Then she disappears, and it's because she got lost on the internet trying to help everyone. Then her asking Jonah to be her helper in the real world. I adore Gabby and I adore this series.
Watching this was unironically the best spent hour in my entire life. I not only feel set back to my childhood i was so deep into the story i started crying tears of joy. A truly beautiful series.
I recently came across the "Angel Hare" series, and I absolutely love it! I love how it's a bit of a twist on the tropes we're seeing on the internet now-a-days. I saw in the community tab that you would only make more if there was a story that was good enought to tell, so heres an idea. What if for a third mini series to Angel Hare, it gets a bit "darker", not in the sense we see in media now-a-days, but in the sense that all that Jonah has accomplished is now on the line. What if someone who used to work for the studio that made Angel Hare is both interested and spiteful for its return by the hands of Jonah, and so in order to take it out they have to get rid of the one who brought it back, Jonah. Perhaps they uncover what ever "incident" happened in Jonah's past that needed to be covered up by Gabby, and use it to incriminate him. And perhaps their reasoning for doing all this is because as a child they never had a gaurdian angel of their own, and the only reason they worked for the studio that made Angel Hare was just through circumstance. And once they realized that angels and such do exist and that their prayers were heard, but ignored, they went about trying to destroy it all but never could the way they wanted to as the studio went defunct. It would be a sorta "sins of the father" kinda idea, one person gets screwed over by an individual (I.E. their prayers were ignored) and later down the line when they encounter someone who has ties to the past (I.E. Jonah), they go ballistic with spite. I dunno, I just wanted to spitball an idea I had, especially since this is such an amazing and unique series and I really want to see more from this amazing world you have crafted!
That would actually be interesting and gave you comment a ❤ so it's possible 🧐 either way I am all for more angle hare and keep in mind I am new to the series 😊
I feel like I could say a million different things about this ending and what it could mean, but in the end I think it's just more important to say thank you so much for this series. I don't know if there will be more after this, from the cliffhanger I feel like there will be, but no matter where this goes from here I just want to express how smartly written this, and all your other work is. I really thought this was going to go down a different route, one about growing up and how you need to let your childhood go, something that's been done a hundred times, but this not only doesn't do that (it's a theme but not the core message), but went with an extremely unique direction that I think is truly unique to Angel Hare. You're truly gifted writers. Thank you so much for everything you've made 💖
Im glad we have series like this with a happy ending. Theres so much darkness in the world that every bit of light helps. Thank you for this masterpeice.
You certainly told us a story, with actual suspense and uncertainty, and you created a happy ending, almost unheard-of in fiction like this, but what's more, it was a happy ending that felt genuine and not forced. That can't be an easy task. Thank you for this, the best "past that never was" piece I've ever seen.
I have alot of church trauma and for some reason this helped. it hit a special memory too- I remember as a kid I used to pray and try to make "friends" with an angle or find solace in god I remember trying to have my own guardian angle, because I was a socially deprived kid and I thought an angle would've been a good friend but ofc as I got older I realized I was wrong. I'm glad this series wasnt really scary, it was more just something to heal a part of my church trauma in some strange way.
I’ll miss angel gabby. Until then, we’ll see each other again, if that were to be possible. This series was great, it was wholesome, and pretty cute. She’s my comfort character now. She’s so sweet man
I've only just discovered angel hare from nick's video about it, as I usually rely him to "hold my hand" through horror media cause im a scaredy cat, but I immediately b-lined to this channel to watch the stuff he didn't show, and angel hare has immediately become something incredibly important to me in just a few hours. It's rare that art affects me in this distinct tangible way where the entire flow of my body feels altered, but this resonates with me to an extreme degree and it feels so comforting and validating. I'm a victim of child abuse and having the message be "it's okay to be scared, it's okay to be weak, it's okay to need others for help." is something I think I needed to hear. My abuse may be over, but I feel the lasting effects of it every day and it definitely puts me at a disadvantage compared to others who didn't suffer the same, but this series is so comforting to me. It feels reassuring, that everything will be okay in the end. I've got good people in my life who I can rely on, my own little "angel gabbies" if you will. Anyways, this comment is way too long, and I definitely overshared, and I can't guarantee that you guys will read this, but even if you don't, one thing needs to be said: Everyone who worked on this project should be proud of themselves and proud of each other, because you guys all made a beautiful piece of art that's evidently had a tangible impact on more people than just me. I look forward to any future projects from you all, because this one was something truly special.
Thank you so much for generously sharing the touching way you relate to the show. It means a lot to see your personal perspective, and the team really appreciates knowing the kind of impact they've made. Truly, thank you.
oh there go the tears again. I'm kind of sad I didn't become aware of this series when it first started. But binging this today has been so so good. The amount of work, care, and love that went into every part of this is incredible.
I will miss this series despite having just discovered it not too long ago. I can tell how much work and passion went into it. It's really something special.
Okay, just a couple of things "You should just make me forget again" "Excuse you?! Didn't you say she was your friend?" I love how Zagzagel was shocked by his words, like he couldn't believe Jonah was considering it "I can't help you like I once did. But it's kinda fun; isn't it?" I love how Gabby knew that even though Jonah wasn't young anymore she still missed having fun with him "We've adapted before" "Yeah but back then we had help" I wonder if they're referring to the other angels "Would it bother you Jonah? If I'm not the perfect guardian you remember? If things didn't stay the way they were and.....I needed you too." I love how she missed Jonah too; that she needed him by her side like old times "What? You want a guy on the outside again?" So I'm guessing this means Jonah will help Gabby stream for others in need. And the same goes for Zagzagel too This was one heck of a wild ride; I'm glad to have rode it with you all Until next time in the future; stay golden Angel Gabby And stay golden guys
I love how there's still a lot of ideas to explore here if The East Patch ever wants to continue with this. Are their other angels? Where are they if so? Are they having the same problems Zag and Gabby are adapting? Are they cool with Gabby and Jonah's relationship? What of the demon hares? What was up with those ominous eggs and visions Francis was having? I respect that this series is done for now, and I won't push for them to keep going if the ideas have run dry, this is a great conclusion, but I like how there are places that thisa narrative could have opened again if they felt inspired.
I think the help they're referring to is the T.V stations and film creators. People God or even the Angels themselves reached out to as to try and spread the word in a more direct way, personal ways as opposed to too broad and not being able to be in more places at once.
@@mythicalthings1796 I was thinking this myself. When Zag mentioned having a man on the inside "again", it made me wonder if the angels once contacted someone from the broadcast station or distribution companies to spread the angel's guidance once upon a time, getting help to adapt to the technology even back then.
@@gregvs.theworld451it seems like it's a full loop of sorts, as in the end shot it shows Jonah setting up a broadcast with Gabby and ZigZag. Along with that, he's wearing a hat of the original broadcasters of possibly BOTH shows, Wreath of life!

This is the most wholesome ending I have ever seen in a show period. The way they touch the screen is so heartwarming, this is such a great series, I hope more people find this ❤ great job on making this
This series was such an emotional journey for me. Probably the first time I was so happy, hyped and just couldnt wait for new episodes for any series to come out. Even though I only joined the community from the cases onward I feel happy to have been a part of it. Ill keep supporting yall in the future and even bought a comfort tee from the store. Hope everyone enjoyed this as much as I did. Until next time people 😊
One of the greatest works of internet fiction I've had the pleasure of viewing in recent years. Showstopping. Spectacular. Heartwarming. Refreshing. Beautiful.
I've learned about this series today and i gotta say. This was pleasant. Its so crazy how cute and innocent turned evil is so standard, we all went into this series expecting some dark twist that never really came. In a way it was misleading without ever doing anything to mislead you. Gabby was just genuinely innocent and good natured exactly like she seems. this deserves more attention.
This series appeals to me in so many ways, becoming friends with a character in a cartoon, having a guardian angel, and most importantly, a happy ending! It makes me sad that there wont be very much of them in the future, but I love how it was all wrapped up in such a wholesome way that leaves everyone happy
This easily has become my favorite Analog series I've ever watched. I'm not usually an Analog Horror person, but upon seeing Night Mind had uploaded a video on this series, I went to check it and was NOT disappointed at all. The absolutely wholesome message of understanding and still wanting each other's comfort despite after all the mistakes that were made is genuinely heartwarming. Some might expect it to go down the route of Jonah having to give up his friendship with Gabby, and now Zag and Francis in order to stop her from being fragmented and live with on his own. But instead, they all decided to work together and make the burden of the voices on the internet easier by having Jonah essentially managing live streaming for both Gabby and Zag's shows. Doing something to make it so Gabby isn't overwhelmed with so many voices at once, and is able to help children at her own pace... and able to have fun times with Jonah when she isn't doing that. Hell, it seems Jonah likes Zag too at the end and might end up hanging too. Either way, I'm REALLY glad how happy of an ending this turned out to be. It's nice to know that all of them will continue to have each other for who knows how long? I love wholesome stories, messages and mysteries like this. The character writing is superb (there is literally not a single character I dislike. Even Zag was someone I grew attached to, and Angel Gabby is the sweetest. Jonah's feelings being stuff probably everyone was watching felt was nice, and just wanting a bond through the hardships of adulthood. Francis is fun as always!) All in all, an amazing show and definitely one I will not forget! Love Angel Hare!
I can't say enough good things about this series, I really can't. I'm one of the ones who hopped on when Manly released a playthrough of the game, and this is easily the sweetest and best written "analog"-anything series I've ever watched. This entire series is professional quality stuff! Professional quality writing, animation, art direction, and acting! It's an absolute shame that you're still so unknown, and I hope this series and the entire production continues to grow and grow until you're all known as part of the great internet classics. Here's to angels Gabriel and Zagzagel and their new helper this side of the screen. If we get more Angel Hare one day, I'll be excited to see it. By now you've proven yourselves able to come up with worthwhile additions to an already completed story. If we don't, and this is where our story ends, I'll be here for whatever else comes next.
Aw, I can't tell if it's some graphical effect or not, but are those tears in her eyes right before the cut to credits? Ever since seeing the Night Mind video, I've been expecting a dark turn but all I've gotten was comfort. Such quality content.
This helps me like you don't understand. It helps that it isn't a sad end but one full of hope and what looks like a future that will be bright, hopeful, and abundant with joy.
This was such a good ending. It wasn't bitter, it wasn't edgy, it wasn't some cruel twist and not a pure happy end of stagnation, things have to change but with hope, comes strength, we can let go of guilt and move on and help others and despite the christian imagery, this is just a very humanist story of love and growth thank you all behind the scenes of this channel for creating this
Wreath is reborn under the watch of one of its greatest triumphs. A boy who was saved by its service of giving angels an easy way to access people in need and who now as an adult can extend that same safety and hope to countless other people. A perfect ending for one of my favourite stories on the internet
Watched this during the twitch stream, came just in time to watch the final case video. Absolutely loved it all, from the beginning to the end. ❤ I was screaming "YES!!" at the ending cause I was so happy for things to end the way they did. What a great way to end the series. Thank you guys at East Patch for making this amazing series. Fly high, Gabby. 😇 (Francis and Zag, too)
I’m really loving how this part of the story ended, and what that means moving forward! It’s nice that erasing the past isn’t the answer, but instead moving forward. I enjoy that whatever their morals the angels are just trying to help hurting kids, and I like how with movement towards the internet, they can work together to try and help others. Whether or not Jonah is the most stable person to be the one to help them through the internet, with at least him Zag and Gabby in communication there could possibly be discussion about what would be best to help others, and that messy line of morals. This story is simultaneously so sad yet heartwarming, and I’m excited to see what you do next!
Just learned about this today, and watched it all. You actually had me in tears when Gabby addresses grown Jonah for the first time, but had this nagging in the back of my mind "don't make her evil". As others have pointed out, I'm so glad you avoided the all-too-easy trope of "seemingly good religious cartoon makes you do bad things". As a Christian who knows we are in dire need of better Christian media, I love this. I don't know if you're religious yourselves, or just treated this subject respectfully, either way, I really appreciate it! Ive fallen in love with this story and characters you've made, and how, in many respects, the cosmic analog horror is so much more real than a lot of others that go a more explicitly dark route. Dipping into the reality of all these hurt kids across the world who need help. It's true, it's a tragedy, but in terms of the story, it shows what a good heart Gabby has. I've rambled enough, but don't want to discount Zag, introducing us to someone uncomfortable, but in the end, a good guy, and lovable im his own right! ...and bless Francis' heart. He's going through a lot that I simply don't think the poor guy thought he was ready for, but he didnt despair! Again, beautiful work, I love what you've done here! Thank you for sharing this with the world.
"You were never perfect... you were just there for me" "And now you can be the same" I'm at a crossroads in my life, and this series really helped me. Thank you and God bless!
Wow, just, wow. To echo the sentiment of so many others; it's really refreshing how wholesome this show has been even in the darker times. Gabby was missing because of some glitch or outside force, she was just trying to be the help for so many people and was engulfed by the overwhelming wave. It's honestly a sign of a good series when you get to an ending and you are clammering for more. Take your times and tell the story YOU want to tell. I also really liked the touch of "I never needer to know" like damn, that hits home for me for some reason. How Jonah also gets lightly scolded for a quite doomer outlook. Idk. It speaks to how you can just have friends you never really know all that well but it doesn't matter, because at the end of the day, they are still your friends no matter what. I think I know why it hits home(sorry kind of stream of consciousness writing) but the way you have all portrayed Gabby and Jonah is almost like a long distance friendship, only knowing someone on the screen sure but they mean the world to you, and you to them. Once again an amazing story and I am looking forward to the next part, even if it's a bittersweet ending.❤
I found this series today from someone playing the game. I totally didn’t expect the wholesome direction, but I am extremely relieved. I’ve grown to love Gabby and the other characters as well. It’s so refreshing and new to see something like this. I’m sad that it’s over, but happy to know that Gabby is only a call away.
Hey look, its an ending that doesnt make me cry from sadness… instead its making me cry just because of how beautiful and happy it is! Damn this was an absolutely amazing series, i love this series, i love angel gabby, and i love you for making this
I wish I'd had my own Gabby when I was a kid. I'm all grown up now, about as adult as an adult gets, but that ending still made me sob. Sometimes we all just need someone there for us
Oh man, the francis line "you certainly arent how *I* remember" referring to jonah really just hit me. I was always intrigued by his... Level of sentience, for lack of a better term? Like, it feels like in the first few episodes as gabby addresses jonah that francis cant even hear her changing the script. He continues speaking when she leaves and he never acknowledges jonah like she does. But here, he says he remembers what jonah was like as a child! To what level was he aware and capable of the same format breaking as gabby? Why did he never do anything earlier on? Did she ask him not to, or is he just more comfortable following a script? He certainly seemed thrown for a loop when zagzagel showed up. This series is genuinely one of my favorite things on the Internet and i adore it truly, i cant wait to learn more if theres more to come. Im so invested in these characters!!!
Its called an analog horror but the horror aspect rides on how its on an uncanny valley. Its pretty off putting that it’s live but each viewer has their own version to help them. I love it. I hope this has a sequel showing the battle of the angel hares and demon hares.
This is so wonderful! When I started watching I was so intrigued by the horror aspect, but as the story unraveled and the episodes became less scary I was so entranced by the story and the characters I just couldn't stay away! EastPatch should be very proud for the quality and growth that occurred in this series. I also hope the end there implies a third season, there are still some burning questions about Wreath and the third rabbit I just have to know! ^w^
I'm 3 months late to this, but this is easily the best "horror" web series I've ever seen. The ending was such a breath of fresh air, even made me tear up a little bit haha. I was so wholly anticipating some plot twist of Gabby being an evil demon or whatever the whole time I was watching the series, pretty run of the mill stuff and what I'm used to seeing in these kinds of projects. I was so very pleasantly surprised though, thank you to everyone involved in making this, it's a piece of media I'll never forget.
Honestly I like this ending. There's so many questions that we all want to ask, but we don't need to do so. They exist and they're good and that's all we need to know. And I'm glad that Jonah decided to help the angels with the new problem of the internet. There's so many children that need help, but there's not many angels. I honestly don't know how he's going to solve these problems, but do I really need to know that? It's up to him how he will do things and with someone like Jonah at the reigns I can take solace in knowing that whatever these angels are they will have a guide that will help them out no matter what.
I know I dont normally double comment like this, but I just noticed right near the end gabby tears up... MY HEART IS IN SHAMBLES 😭😭😭 WAAAAAAAAAAA ITS SO BEAUTIFUL IT MAKES MY HEART SO WARM ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I CANT HANDLE THE BOND THEY SHARE ITS TOOO STRONG 😭😭😭
I'm not a person of faith, but this series has touched my heart so much. I'm so glad I went and actually watched it, all these characters, it's been so fun.
NEW. FREAKIN'. FAVORITE. Lovely to see a series where it's not just 'paranormal = bad' and have an actually GOOD 'anomalous force'.. and also AGH the blink and you'll miss it tears in 'er eyes at 3:10! So beautiful!
Don't mind me wiping my tears after binge watching this, what a masterpiece you've created with no evil or dark religion aspects. The different tapes all have such aspiring amounts of effort
Love how this started as your usual creepypasta and then became more of a detective story, yet this shift of tone doesn't feel out of place (at least for me). That's the kind of story I like!
In such a relatively short amount of time, this has easily become one of my favourite web series, from start to finish. And the ending was able to both wrap everything up perfectly whilst having something ready to go off if you ever decide to do more. Genuinely 10/10, can't wait to see what you do next
What a wholesome series. Seriously was expecting it to go the creepy twisted analog horror route but it eventually became this positive breath of fresh air which really subverted my expectations. Not going to lie, there is an inherent melancholy for me personally with this series due to its themes of growing up and letting the past go, but I always say, it is better to have lived it and miss it, then to never have lived it at all. I'm so glad it did not go the cliche route when Jonah said, "Make me forget" and that he is still friends with Gabby and the gang and being the person on 'outside' implies he is now helping other kids in need. One of the best aspect is that the mystery from the first few episodes about what Jonah and Gabby did remains a mystery, so there is that delicious tinge of creepiness among all this wholesomeness. Bravo to the creators. One of the best series of its kind out there. :)
Start to finish, this series was absolutely spectacular. You perfectly inverted the "nostalgic show but something is off" trope found in other analog horror series. The implementation of the internet was absolutely genius. Also, rather than reject nostalgia, you remind us that nostalgia is not necessarily a bad thing. Incredible, I know that angel hare is complete, at least for now, but we will happily wait for any creative projects you make in the future.
Did we make friends along the way?
Yes
Yep
Yee
Absolutely
I’m a friend of everyone here
When Gabby says, “We’ve adapted before,” she briefly takes on an art style that reminds me of older storybooks and greeting cards. I wonder if these characters first began helping children through picture books, possibly changing the text each time they were read?
that is exactly what i was thinking

I appreciate that the religious aspects of this series aren't twisted to be evil or condescending. Angel Gabby is a messanger from heaven and there's no twist. She's just a good person. It's refreshing.
Oh yes!!!! It is so SO nice to see a take on religious material in modern stories that doesn’t feel insulting

Even if Zagzagel comes off rough around the edges, he's still a good guy who was trying to help his friend.
at this point I'd say it's just found footage, NOT analog horror
Being rough around the edges is ZigZags best trait, sure he may be a dark brooding detective, but we'll always remember him as the adorable bnuy man
@@jan_haraldeh, not really, considering that this is an ongoing story that has long moved on from old tapes and now takes place on the internet, I would say it’s more of a sci-fi show now with small hints of horror.
@@syrusangi8743 thats what i thought too! I left a whole comment on case 5 about it, its quite the fun read.
A lot of series, even at this point, would have made the moral be 'you need to live on your own now' rather than this one's message which is closer to 'you can and should continue to spend time with, rely on, and be relied on, by others.'
I don't know if this is really commented enough but this is legimiately one of the best works of Christian fiction on the internet right now.
Thank you for feeling our message and articulating it so well. We really appreciate you sharing, and want to thank you for the kind words!
Oh yeah that really hit me for personal reasons
❤️🛐🕎☮️✝️❤️
@@RebeccaMorningstar I thought this was the end of the angel hare story?
@@Ghost49590 Oh, well I guess they were just false leads put there to tease us lol.
@@Ghost49590 It's the end of angel hare, but now's the time for a francis the badger spin off

Or sets up an angel vtuber production company!
We got not only a happy ending, but a mega-happy ending: Gabby made whole, Gabby and Jonah able to be together, PLUS "...and the adventure continues."
I came into this expecting it to be a creepypasta story, and this surprised me and warmed my heart. Thank you so much.
Whaddya Mean by 'And the Adventure Continues', is there gonna be something after this?
I would not mind at all.
@Spino-hx2mr it's a classic way to end a story without bringing the characters to a final resolution.
It is like the way many Conan novels ended, with something like "... and he carved out his own kingdom, by his own hands, and he wore his crown upon a troubled brow. But that is another story..."
Here we have Gabby healed, Jacob and Gabby reunited, but Gabby still has more troubled kids to help, only now she has Jacob to help HER, "working with someone on the outside again," as Zaggy put it. Our time with Gabby and Jacob may be over, but they have not reached the end of their own story.
Same bro
@@andrewdreasler428so thats why its such a good ending
Thank you!
Whats even better is that it mirrors the ending of s1, instead of gabby reaching out first, it was jonah, a beautiful circle!

Should we all call this new genre “Analogue Hare?”
Badum-tssshhhh
I think we should
Oh god yes!!!!!!😊😅😂🎉

And it would actually give an antagonist to the series
I think that’s a good idea cause it all comes full circle, although I would like Gabby to aid Jonah instead the other way around.
Ooohhh and like a short of Zagzagel helping an adult subtly through his show (maybe from the past?)
That detective is the best thing ever
"Excuse YOU???"
The dude who voiced ZigZag gave wonderful deliveries all around, really sells the character.
this analog series deadass had me going "AWWW" by the end of it so bravo
Thank you so much for everything you've made 💖
It means so much to us that you'd take the time to generously share such kind words with us. Thank you so much!
I have alot of church trauma and for some reason this helped.
it hit a special memory too-
I remember as a kid I used to pray and try to make "friends" with an angle or find solace in god
I remember trying to have my own guardian angle, because I was a socially deprived kid and I thought an angle would've been a good friend
but ofc as I got older I realized I was wrong.
I'm glad this series wasnt really scary, it was more just something to heal a part of my church trauma in some strange way.
I don’t know why but I just started to cry at the end song, and the until you call again really got the waterworks going.
I’ll miss angel gabby. Until then, we’ll see each other again, if that were to be possible. This series was great, it was wholesome, and pretty cute. She’s my comfort character now. She’s so sweet man
Gabby:be not afraid.
Us: never Gabby. Never again.
So Jonah becomes a new “guardian angel” in a sense king with Gabby and Zaggy? That’s cool!!!
Watching the ending was so sweet, i felt like i wanted to burst into tears all over again~truly an amazing series
I will miss this series despite having just discovered it not too long ago. I can tell how much work and passion went into it. It's really something special.
Okay, just a couple of things
"You should just make me forget again"
"Excuse you?! Didn't you say she was your friend?"
I love how Zagzagel was shocked by his words, like he couldn't believe Jonah was considering it
"I can't help you like I once did. But it's kinda fun; isn't it?"
I love how Gabby knew that even though Jonah wasn't young anymore she still missed having fun with him
"We've adapted before"
"Yeah but back then we had help"
I wonder if they're referring to the other angels
"Would it bother you Jonah? If I'm not the perfect guardian you remember? If things didn't stay the way they were and.....I needed you too."
I love how she missed Jonah too; that she needed him by her side like old times
"What? You want a guy on the outside again?"
So I'm guessing this means Jonah will help Gabby stream for others in need. And the same goes for Zagzagel too
This was one heck of a wild ride; I'm glad to have rode it with you all
Until next time in the future; stay golden Angel Gabby
And stay golden guys
I cried omfg...this hellped me understand my life, and everything around me,gaurdians, friends, holding backs..this is just REALLY...the best thig ive ever watched
Until next time people 😊
This was one of the best rabbit holes I’ve ever fallen down. What an adventure this was!
This series is criminally underviewed, all we can do now is spread the good word of Angel Gabby to others ❤
This was beautiful. Also it seriously healed some of my religious trauma! Thank you so much for sharing Gabby with us.
Thats amazing!
One of the greatest works of internet fiction I've had the pleasure of viewing in recent years. Showstopping. Spectacular. Heartwarming. Refreshing. Beautiful.
I shall weep . This series has been a roller coaster and I'm so happy to have come along for the ride - much luck to you all in your future projects!!
omg haiii
@@RalseiSmoocher omg haiii!!! :3
Friendship is what i see here
I love this miniseries. Cried on the first watch. This is just so good spirited its new and fresh i just love it
I've learned about this series today and i gotta say.
Francis is fun as always!)
All in all, an amazing show and definitely one I will not forget!
It wasn't bitter, it wasn't edgy, it wasn't some cruel twist and not a pure happy end of stagnation, things have to change
but with hope, comes strength, we can let go of guilt and move on and help others
and despite the christian imagery, this is just a very humanist story of love and growth
thank you all behind the scenes of this channel for creating this
Wreath is reborn under the watch of one of its greatest triumphs.
I was screaming "YES!!" at the ending cause I was so happy for things to end the way they did. What a great way to end the series. Thank you guys at East Patch for making this amazing series.
Fly high, Gabby. 😇
(Francis and Zag, too)
I’m really loving how this part of the story ended, and what that means moving forward!
"You were never perfect... you were just there for me"
"And now you can be the same"
I'm at a crossroads in my life, and this series really helped me.
Best freaking analog horror ever. It’s so well written and so well done that it isn’t even funny. I can’t wait for more
"You were never perfect, you were just there for me." Damn. Now I'm crying about something completely unrelated...
What an amazing journey ❤ thank you so much for this series
I'm not a person of faith, but this series has touched my heart so much. I'm so glad I went and actually watched it, all these characters, it's been so fun.
This is gonna be my brainrot for the next month.
hot dog! binge watched this whole thing today and i'm absolutely in love. what an incredible project!
NEW. FREAKIN'.
