I bet we all laughed with you when your Siri said "I don't see Crickey in your contacts list" ... What a fabulous technique I might try this with Mica powders. Beautiful. ❤
I enjoy watching you play and especially like the fact that you do not give up. It may not have been what you originally intended, but it certainly made a very pretty card. There's a good life lesson in that! Thank you for sharing! 👍💕 PS - I think you should consider making an entire video of clips of your Mr. Siri interactions as a Christmas special! This one was the best yet! 🤣
Thank you for the heat gun tip on glue👍 and Siri made me laugh out loud, I had my earplugs in and my husband looked at me as if I’d lost it haha, oh and the card is beautiful 🤩
Thank you so much Christine I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and beautiful card. I really really love ❤️ everything about it, and that Butterfly 🦋 is really really cute and adorable too. So there’s no failure as far as I’m concerned. Just Win Win. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I don't think I've laughed this hard in years!! "I don't see a Crikey in your contacts " 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 On a crafty note, I love watching you experiment with craft techniques.
You got a wonderful card out of your "failed" experiment. How disappointing that that Gold didn't really show up. Putting those three butterflies on top of each other in different card really made a unique butterfly. Enjoy your experimenting. Sometimes our failures can be made into successes with a little ingenuity.
Mr. Siri had me laughing out load, my dog looked at me like I was crazy. Great video, love when you share all your play with us, I am glad you had fun, I did watching. Very pretty card end result. Thanks Christine!!
Oh Chris I do love your videos and you are such a natural at creating them. I love the way you are not frightened to experiment and try all sorts of techniques, which is great for all us card makers, and inspires us to have a go. Thank you so much for sharing xx
I almost laugh till I cry, when Siri interupts! Your cards are so beautiful, and some are mysterious, as I wonder how they are made. You do a wonderful job Chrissie, I also go over to Instagram to see your finished projects. ❤😊🤣
I love watching you craft, makes me laugh when you talk to yourself. I do the same thing😂. I love this technique and your card turned out so pretty. Thanks for sharing.
How funny mr Siri is. Lol Christine have loved watching you experiment. I thought the little blue butterfly card was so nice. I have been in my craft room experimenting too. Thanks so much for sharing. I’m using more and more of my stash and believe me I have plenty
Ah, I somehow missed this video first go round. So glad it turned up while revisiting my favorites of yours. Beautiful! Thanks so much! From Cheryl in AZ
Mr Siri strikes again, he’s very determined 😊. Very pretty card, love the triple layered butterfly! Thank you for the experiment, so surprising how different mediums react on the shaving foam. Take care.
I’ve had wonderful results doing this shaving foam technique. When I did it I used the Colour Burst powders and they spread out differently every time. My best results were using glossy photo paper - colours and designs didn’t smear as I squeegeed off the foam. Think I’ll revisit this technique again after watching your video
Love watching your experiments! I quite liked them, and the one you cut the larger flower out of, I could see mountains in it! I got a Sprinkle It, but half a pot has gone one 1⃣ piece and you can't see it like mica, and it got in my stamps! I've seen Jo Rice at Lavinia stamping Versamark and sprinkling it over, so that's another option. Please tell your Mr Siri to stop making me laugh, as it hurts! 😂 One of my favourite experiments with pastes was with clear, through a stencil, onto acetate, sprinkle tiny amounts of Brusho and mica, spray with minimal amount of water, take away stencil, and fingers crossed! My stencil was circles, looked like amazing planets. Can't wait to get back to my craftdesk, until then, extra appreciating all your time and generosity sharing ❤
For an experiment I'd call that a great success, love it! The first time I used the shaving foam technique many moons a go I made a beautiful meringue!!! I have learnt a lot of tips and tricks watching your videos, thank you Chris 😊
Love hearing Mr Siri chime in randomly. 😂 I like the blue brushos for water, ocean themes. Been a while since I got them out. You have tweaked my interest again😁
Inspired I tried something similar to this. I got some random blue pigments in a stack from Temu. I also had some Co-op shaving *gel* in the bathroom. The gel broke down into foam when I stirred it with a palette knife but the pigment didn't really react with it in any way. I didn't add water and I've ended up with what looks like cloud on bit of white paper. I've wiped some of them and others I'll leave to dry. My whole flat smells of whatever the Co-op put in their shaving gel!!
On ‘Sort Your Life Out’ on tv this week, they used shaving foam to clean the beige carpet where the children had drawn all up the stairs with permanent, (I know right?) pen! Just rubbed the foam in for a few seconds and … hey presto! Done! I LOVE SHAVING FOAM 🤣🤣🤣😘
Fun watching your experiment today, Christine! Per my usual comments, I do have Brushos somewhere………..I do love the colors of the Indigo Blu powders, they are gorgeous. Will be awaiting the results of the new shaving foam1
Also, I use a large scraper rather than a paper towel to get the excess foam off and scrape down only once to avoid transferring the color to the rest of the card stock - like the We R Memory Keepers large bone folder, for example.
Oh Mr. Siri, he cracks me up! He really needs a friend and I guess you are that friend Chrissie. LOL Interesting experiment and the results are not at all what I expected. It will be interesting to see if you get the same results with the new shaving cream, I don't think you will, but you have to see to be sure. The brusho results were disappointing to say the least, not bad...but not my favorite but not bad. I loved the mica power results, different but so cool looking. The brusho results look nice on your card though! I think these backgrounds will be great exactly the way you used them....in small doses. LOVE this card! Hugs, Brenda
I think u r to use the tip of the palette knife to swirl the color in the foam rather than the bottom of the blade - it should make the marble effects more “delicate” looking. So pretty! TFS.
I have always found that the shaving foam sprays better when you hold the can upright, not at the angle you are using. Hold the plate up at an angle and try spraying it that way. See if it works better. Very pretty results, either way. BTW; Mr. Siri really cracked me up. 🤣😂🤣
I will be interested to see if it was the shaving cream and if it makes a difference in the outcome. It turned out to be a very pretty card none the less 👍
Christine would you happen to know the name of that Sizzix background die? I love it! And I love that you use so many blue and green pallettes in your work. Those are my favorite!
Current foam gels are less airy and bubbly. Find the old fashioned kind, was it called Barbasol? Yes, use Barbasol original. Red white and blue container. Daughter of a barber.
This is not a not liked comment. I loved this emmensly. But I was checking to see if even a not liked comment worked because I couldn't get the liked comment to work. Sorry I am rambling. But I liked it.
I think the brushes and sprinkle its need much more water in order to interact with each other. The sprinkle its are an Added "effect" rather than a color.
I mentioned in the video that I was trying to see if there was enough moisture in the foam to activate the powders, but ended up spraying a little anyway. Obviously still not enough!
Well done for managing to upload your video. I love your technique. It’s fab. The consistency might be because the can of shaving foam is coming to an end. And I love your card. It’s beautiful. BTW you can do the same with bubble bath. Add the bubble Bath to the water and stir it up until it bubbles and then add your colour and give it a stir. Take a print off of it and let it dry. Hey presto. Bubble background. Have fun and happy crafting - Dawn 🌅
Ok j ai vu la vidéo ! Comme souvent les fonds sont des fois décevants mais en découpe ... ça le fait . Dommage que vous ne serez pas la qd moi j essaierai car ça vous consommerait j en suis sûr 😂
Hi. Thank you for sharing your journey into shaving foam art, it's intriguing and while those blue prints didn't have a sheen they were still gorgeous with all that marbling. Needless to say that was one fabulous butterfly, even if it technically three in the first place! Have a wonderful day. And thanks again.😁

Love watching your videos. Seeing things go amiss for the experts just like it does for us. From the US, you are always good for a giggle.
I’m really glad, thank you 💙💙💙
I'v seen this technique earlier. You get even better result when you scrape off the foam with your palletknife. Then you do not smear it.
Nice card!!
Very true!
I put pigment powder directly into the foam & wow what a FANTASTIC Result!!!

I think u r to use the tip of the palette knife to swirl the color in the foam rather than the bottom of the blade - it should make the marble effects more “delicate” looking. So pretty! TFS.
To be honest in this instance I think the prints may have been prettier without swirling at all! I'll try again!

I prefer the shaving cream used with powders which are mixed with water before adding them😊
I wonder if you could get a different effect if you stirred with a toothpick or thin skewer instead of the pallet knife?
There's one way to find out!
@@Chrissieannie I guess I’ll have to get some shaving foam next trip to store 😻.

Try keeping the can upright and hold the paper plate on its side. I reckon your foam will exit the can better!
I'll try that! I have to do the same thing with my olive oil spray bottle when it's getting low!
Love your experiments! 😁💖🙏🙌
