Thank you again Christine! I'm 73 and your videos make me feel energized to create. Housework can wait. I enjoy all the tips you give. It shows that you can never stop learning. Lord knows I really don't need to shop for more crafts LOL
I think that I have found my ultimate crafting channel for cards. I love dies, clean and simple cards BUT, you make them all special. Thanks Christine! I will stop watching older videos today, need sleep for midnight shift.
I loved playing with this technique. While I was doing it I tried adding bits of foil instead of gilding flakes and I got a lovely effect. Thank you for sharing your talent and inspiration. I have learned SO much from you!
I thoroughly enjoyed watching your trees come to life. So much interest to be found in this small composition. There are a surprising number of steps that go into this clean and (not so 'simple') card. My gilding flakes have arrived and I absolutely get how addictive they could be! I too find myself saying "just a little more here". Thanks so much for the inspiration Christine.
You were brave leaving the lid off the pot of gilding flakes whilst you were gluing 😱 Knowing my luck I would have sneezed or the cat would have knocked it over 🤣🤣🤣
@@Chrissieannie You are so welcome. I finally pulled the trigger and got Cosmic Shimmer. I was going to order more. I thought I should wait and make sure I like them as much as you do. I am really happy to have so many ways to use them in one place. I don't like it when I can't think of different ways to use things. Thank you again!
Just love it Christine. Keep them coming .I cant get enough, you are simply brilliant and i just love how you utilise your stuff, which is really good.thankyou so much.
Thank you so much. This video was made for Splitcoast Stampers for tomorrow. I've been looking after grandchildren this week so I've missed working on my craft room!
So beautiful! I love your videos. I’ve been making cards painting trees using metallic glitter watercolor on black watercolor paper. I love them, but they don’t come close to the beauty of this white card with the trees. Thank you for these lessons, i look forward to each one.
Love your videos Christine, your so talented, you also make me giggle when you lose things, I do the same. Love how you explain things in a simple way . 👍
Absolutely beautiful with lots of ideas and inspiration 😊 Thank you Christine you're always a joy to watch and to listen to your voice 😊 You always make me smile because you leave in your little blunders 😂 Thank you ❤🤗
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching you create this gorgeous and stunning card. I really really love ❤️ how you put the embossing on the tree’s plus the gliding flake’s too. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. Please stay safe and well too
I finally did a bit a gilding. I had a bit of packaging that I thought was going to work for burnishing the flakes but it did NOT work out. More flakes on the packaging than on the project it seemed. Luckily, I had a brand new Rub It Scrub It so I cut a small piece and it worked wonderfully. Now I want to gild every little thing. It makes me feel like an artist. This card is beautiful, as always. All those little bits of interest add so much to the card.
Chris, what a great Christmas card! Love the gilded and textured trees, and the simple way you shaped the trees to add further dimension. You’re quite right - anyone would be thrilled to receive your card!
Ditto the last comment. Patiently awaiting my gilding flakes and pigment powder to arrive. I have the same embossing folder and I am happy to know a use for it now. Thanks so much for sharing. ❣
Wow. Another beautiful card. Thank you Christine. And by using the word Noel, you’ve reminded us of the Christmas Alphabet. Of course the standard English Alphabet has 26 letters. But the Christmas one only has 25. No L! The old ones are the best. Have a great day. Dawn 🌅

I was just thinking it’s time for another video from Christine 😊. Thank you for sharing another beautiful card and all your tips and tricks. Can’t wait for the next one 🥰
I've been looking after my grandkids this week, I made this this video a little while ago which is destined for a tutorial at Splitcoaststampers tomorrow.. I can't wait to get back into my craft room to make more videos for you!
Love watching your videos, so informative and fun at the same time. I've see you using the roll of foam tape now a few times, may I know where you got it from please?
Using the embossing folder for texture was brilliant! I tried something similar last night and made a mess of it because my cardstock was too lightweight. Will give it another go after watching this. TYFS! 😊
I also tried to cut dies from different companies at the same time and had the same bad result. But if they are placed with distance one behind the other, than it is possible.
Your videos are fun to watch and I always learn new techniques to try. I will definitely try this one. I do not have the Indigo green powder but will try a mica powder to see if it works. Fun to experiment. Thank you
Love how you're using the luscious pigment powders. I finally placed an order at Indigo Blu (thanks for the code!) to get the gorgeous blue, and also some gilding flakes. It's such a joy to watch you create using these different products to make beautiful creations.
Great card again Christine! Why did I not think of using the embossing folder on the trees?? Just perfects them. Thank you for that idea! x What thickness is your foam tape and where do you get it please? Mine seems far too thick at times.
Love your Christmas cards as well ❤. I try my gilding flakes again, which you make me want to again. I love it, but some of them, where hm.. scratches...and still feels glue.. so I put some more gilding flakes on top, and burnish again.. same results.. Do you have any idea, what I am doing wrong? Thanks for a great video❤

You keep inspiring me to invest in various pieces and parts for card making. Stop that!! (just kidding) Now I'm going to start looking for a snowy background embossing folder. I just found the trees die set! Thank you for the unintentional product demonstrations in addition to the tutorials. 😊

If the surface still feels sticky, use an embossing Buddy or anti static tool over the surface to counteract the stickiness!

It's an X Cut www.craftstash.co.uk/xcut-a3-tempered-glass-cutting-mat.html?affiliate_code=YzPptHx78v&referring_service=link
Only some glues seem to work with gilding flakes. I tried something similar with something a bit like pritt stick and it didn't work!
Pritt stick won't work, it needs to be a really tacky glue!
Love your vidios but wish to know what brand you are using
