I think you absolutely nailed this one, it's stunning. The combination of CAS and mixed media is absolutely great. I really enjoy listening to your thought process and why you make the choices you do (or don't). It's like a mini master class for mini mixed media. Feels like I always come away from your videos with some nugget of inspiration, a new idea or the solution to an issue I'm having in my own creating. Thank you.
I really love watching your processes with the gilding flakes and all your lovely powders and such! I loved the background you used over the other one you had. In the eye of the beholder as they say!
I'm so enjoying your mixed media demos and you so deserve your break in the sun.🌞 We have enjoyed for over a month now daily demos. I checked every morning for a new one, now I'm missing you so much, hurry back Chris, I need my daily fix 😢 Saying that, I do hope you have had a fabulous and restful time 🏖
Love this card👍. Its funny how we can use so much stuff, both from kitchen and now other tools. Don't know the English word for it. I know this is bough to scap. Sand paper, we call it. Love gilding flakes, and powder. You are so great to use a lot of great stuff, we not always look at, but we might have. Thanks for inspiring me❤
@@Chrissieannie I'm sorry, I meant ephemera. You know, elements or bis and pieces that that get used in card making. I'm so sorry, looks like I'm not having a very eloquent day! 🙄
Oow all those lovely colours of luscious powders ! I’m only a few mins in & totally hooked 👍🏼🤩! Brilliant idea 💡, I am definitely going to give this a go with my supplies. I am inspired 😊.
The colours from these powders is just simply stunning 😍 I'm so loving the CAS/Mixed Media 'marriage' as I love both and your videos are so inspirational, thank you so much Christine 💖 💐
Thank you so much Christine I really really enjoyed watching you creating that amazing and awesome tag and leave’s and I really really love ❤️ it. It’s STUNNING and GORGEOUS TOO. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Well you have a wonderful time in the sunny south if that’s where You are going. Those powders are beautiful. I really like the idea you do with keeping the cut cards stock in the die to help keep it together to work on them. I was able to get myself a embossing mat today. Haven’t used it yet will be trying it shortly. I liked the way you sanded off the paper from the tag. I seen a very short video today you did seven years ago. ❤
Sounds like you're going to be busy, I tried doing videos a long time ago but didn't get very far with them. It was requests from members of the CAS card making Facebook group which made me try again!
I loved how your tag and card came out! The last green powder really pulled the colors of the geli plate background together with the leaves. Love this so much! Love the twine bow and the burlap that the tag sits on. Beautiful! Have a wonderful holiday in the sun! Hugs, Brenda
😂 I love that you speak your thoughts it is inspiring my imagination to expand usage of my own stash… at first glance I thought it was a string of fish . Lovely ideas and beautiful card
That was fabulous. I haven’t been to Instagram yet to see what your final product looks like but I’m hoping a dragonfly was put on it because that would have been stunning. Either way it’s going to be a fabulous card. Thank you for sharing.☮️❤️
Love your thought process and how you link colours together. The finished card is lovely. If we don’t see you again before your trip, have a wonderful time. Stay safe!
Beautiful composition! Very interesting to see and hear your working through pulling the pieces together to make it all work and also to see the white/silver version on Instagram.
Lovely tag...thanks again for sharing! Love your videos. I always learn something. When using a bit of your gilding wax, instead of putting a bit on your glass mat, why not put it on the inside of the lid, and when done you can just pop that back on. No leftover to wipe up.
Thanks ...needless to say I have tried using the lid , but there's not enough space to tap away to get just the amount I want on my finger. So the mat it is!
They are available in the US, if you email orders@indigoblu.com they will let you know US stockists, but they do ship worldwide and you can get 20% discount from the UK site with the code CHRISTH-cam
❤❤❤ This video was such fun! How beautiful those leaves look with the various dabs and daubs applied. I saw your card on the CAS group and have just sat quietly over dinner and enjoyed the video. Applause from me! Thank you Chrissie!
Enjoying your foray into mixed media, beauty can be in the smallest piece as well as the larger pieces of artwork, love how you finished off your card, take care.
I have just started watching you. You have become my favorite. Maybe I have missed the information but what kind of white paper do you use. Many of the artist I have watched, put a list of products they use. I find that very useful. Is there any videos you do that in?
Thank you. I often mention what I am using, when viewers love all over the world is difficult to say where to get supplies from. The card in this case is Silkweave Linen from Syntego.co.uk. they ship worldwide and sell on Amazon both .UK & .com.
So interesting to see your thought process whilst making this tag. The addition of a little stamping and the final green powder really brought everything together. How clever of you. I’ve seen the finished card on instagram now and love the addition of the little bird and hessian. Tfs❤
Thank you so much fro doing another CAS mixed media card. It’s absolutely beautiful, and as you said, white on white would work too. I love that you give us options. ❤
What glue was used to get flakes and luscious powder to stick to leaves ? Have loads of these but not sure is need something to colour card . Versamark ?

What glue was used to get flakes and luscious powder to stick to leaves ? Have loads of these but not sure is need something to colour card . Versamark ?
I just saw you use Versamark later in video , oops ! Must have missed it before you put flakes on .
I used a large Nuvo glue pen to start with before adding the flakes and powders, but used the Versamark when I wanted to adjust the colour.
Thank you I have that die & it wasn't half price either lol.

Can you use micro powders to do this technique?
I should think so, do you mean mica powders? I've not heard of micro powders! 😊
