Very pretty out there in California where you’re at would have to say you have a very cool job. I’m a pipe welder it’s fun but man watching you trim all those lots is pretty darn cool
Compared to your 3500 Cummins is the 5500 a night - day difference since they both have the same motor and same tranny think you said the gears were different and the 5500 gear ratio? And the 55 obviously weighs more.
2023 ram 5500 here too, plus Cat306 w/catTRS6 tilt rotate, love my setup. I would love to know what headsets you guys use. My son runs my cat 259 and I would love to be able to talk to him while operating all day!! I would appreciate the info man😊
Do you think gooseneck trailer is easier to tow than a comparable weight bumper set up? I have a lifted 3500 which I use to tow a 13-14k excavator with the weight of the bumper trailer I’m right around 26k….it feels heavy for my 3500 cause of the larger wheels and lift… I know it’s not ideal, but I wonder if I should switch to gooseneck to make things easier on the truck. Thoughts?
If you dont mind me asking how did you promote your company when you first started? Im trying to get into it we have already done 1 10 acre job but our dozer needs a transmission so im thinking of doing mulch work with the skidsteer untill i can afford to buy a new dozer or rebuild the trans in that old girl
You ever thought about hauling with a medium duty or single axle semi? I use a f650 to pull my machines not as fast but the air brakes and 22.5 tires are better for the heavier loads
No point in stepping up unless it’s a lowboy even then I can’t haul to of the bigger machines at once. I only have my brakes turned up to 3 out of 10. I have tons of braking power left and not sure what the benefit with 22.5s are besides they cost more to replace. Modern pickup simply gets the job done without a problem.
Several ppl already asked that in the comments but a single axle semi is point less “upgrade” if anything get a low boy but even then I can’t haul 2 of my bigger machines at once so back to using the gooseneck which is plenty capable. No reason to change the set up
Okay makes sense. The new pickups like yours are incredible. Our farm runs hay around with a single axel 379. We gross around 50-55k. I can’t imagine grossing 40 with a pickup. Love your hauling content keep it coming.
Pointless. 5500 does it perfectly. Getting a small semi is little to no improvement. Would need a full low boy even then I can’t haul to of my main machines at once. So back to one machine at a time just like the 5500 Or a 3500 does. Simple
If it fits, It ships!
Full send with the 5500! Freakin love it.
I'm stoked right there with you!
I'm stoked!! Wow, can't believe it was 2019!! The 5500 was the way to go to!! Birthday? Mine was last week. 8) --gary
Man your 5500 is a beast 😎💪 I'm stoked 🙌

Im stoked right there with ya. I know you have said it before but what rear end gear ratio and how long is your new diamond c?
44 and 30
You should get the next size up primetech and haul it with truck!
Hahah no way
Sam, did you ever think of adding strobe lights to the truck when backing up in traffic?
That would be nice. Haven’t got around to it yet
@@VBELTandSON I’ve got strobes on my roll off trailer. Well worth it.
Hey bud.
Do you have any updates on your old shocker airbag hitch?
I haven’t ran it in years
Good job and video Brother
When they start the red seat belts
I custom ordered it with them
Not trying to be that guy. Just genuinely curious for your reasoning. Why Dont you buy and class 8 truck. Like a single axel or even a twin screw?

Nice Sam!
Hi.Do you have Aisin transmission?how is the transmission holding?how many miles on truck?
Yes aisin. You can’t get anything else in a 5500. 11k on this truck. 70 on my other one
Thanks.I have 2022 3500 long bad with HO engine and Aisin transmission single tire .planning tow 2020 cat 306 .
Weight on Escavator under 16000 pounds.
@@kobeljo piece of cake
What kind of headset do you use?
Sena
Where do you get your steering wheel covers
Tractor supply
You think the 3500 would have handled that big ol load!?
Not as comfortable but yeah
Have you ever been scared on the road or the highway
Of what?
2019 was just yesterday
You should try that with a 5.9 😂
why dont you get a small semi if you haul heavy loads

The weight should be on equipment. Aswell as gvw on truck, and trailer.
This comment doesn’t make sense
Come mon man its a Dodge.
How much tongue weight do u have?
Wasn’t on the overloads.
Next do the 080 on the back 😂
Hahah oh man
15 ton aint bad, neither is 20.
lol ok
Never said hell yeah quicker
Hell ya!
