Thanks for this video. When I went on carnival sunshine years ago we didn’t get to explore New York. We just went to the airport to the ship. Didn’t really get to experience the city as person that comes from a very small town down south.

Are you on the cruise departing 5 April to the Caribbean? My husband, son (14) and I are on that and I’ve been searching online trying to find out what the weather will be like and how many days into the cruise before it will get warm. Do you have any idea? I love New York and have been loads…. Top things to visit other than the major tourist sights are Serendipity 3 for great iconic deserts, walk along the Highline, Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge and a great diner is the Comfort Diner near Grand Central - great food at normal prices and not massively expensive. Used by loads of locals.

We took a taxi… it was super easy since we stayed in NYC right in Times Square and only like $18 with a tip
