If I had friends like these growing up, maybe my life would've been different, staying away from gangs and drugs. I see them and see what could've been me, but instead I chose to be a low life. Racial prejudice is any preformed racial bias often influenced by stereotypes, which is what I'm assuming you are referring to. That definition of racism is used more commonly by the average person, that is not the full definition though.

anger & rage Maybe it’s a regional thing because I grew up around a lot of blacks here in Louisiana, and most are conservative or moderates. In the middle school I went to, whites were a minority. Junior High and High School was about 50/50. I stay on touch with many of those friends, and they have remained conservative or moderate based on their social media posts. I have two friends who have gone far left, but that’s it. I’m talking about a sample size of about 500 people.

Even those brought to England via the system of tribal conquer, weren't allowed to be treated as slaves nor were even allowed to be called slaves. They were not even allowed by law to be called slaves. The idea at the time was that England was too pure for slaves to breathe. But you know. Continue in your misguided view of oppression.

Integration was a threat to a group of businessmen in the Carolinas who had their hands in the railroad industry and so they used their money to put out anti-integration propaganda that painted African-Americans in a bad light. Even back then, directly after the Civil War, during the Reconstruction Years, neighborhoods were much more mixed than they are today. Even in 1871, only a few years after the KKK was started by a group of Confederate veterans in Tennessee, the US. Government instated the Third Force Act aka the KKK Act which enabled the President to shut down active violence and threats through military force all terrorist organizations. The Republicans were the first to vote in African Americans to Congress (who they themselves were Republican) while the Democrats heavily opposed it. Even Lyndon B Johnson, the man who deflected the Civil Rights Act was a prejudiced democrat against African Americans. They just didn't mention his party affiliation.

I would like to add one point here. If I am correct, there is a media presence that supports conservative voices of all races, ethnicities and religions. That service is FOX. Why are all of you here yelling about liberal media "cutting off voices" when you should be asking why the media that should be giving them exposure isn't doing enough? I occasionally look at FOX and although I do see POC, I don't really see too many features on their points of view, way of life, etc. Conservatives have their own media and should be turning to it to provide greater conservative community solidarity. My daughter was told in college if she have a child she could receive help with books. Today she is a RN still taken classes to further her education. Oh yeah black no kids 24years . Me and my siblings grew up on welfare until this day those demons hunt us. I’m white and I’ve noticed this for years. Blacks have fought hard for their equal rights and their rights to chose. It’s sad that they get attacked when they chose for themselves and not chose as the majority. You're correct, in a sense, but - no offense - you need to apply critical thinking and read up on this. I'm short on time, but I can point out a few things: He said something close to: 'a power structure that prevents access...' An example is when Jim Crow was in place. Another example involves laws/ordinances/policies that are currently in place to prevent Blacks from voting or to make it highly difficult. He did give an incomplete definition, but he may have gone back and added the rest. We will never know what they edited out or misrepresented.
From what I have read. LBJ spoke racist southern to racist southerns and spoke liberal to the liberals. He seemed to be more of a chameleon rather than taking any one side firmly.

In that statement he was not talking about the white supremacists and actually refers to them in the broader statement.

anger & rage Maybe it’s a regional thing because I grew up around a lot of blacks here in Louisiana, and most are conservative or moderates. In the middle school I went to, whites were a minority. Junior High and High School was about 50/50. I stay on touch with many of those friends, and they have remained conservative or moderate based on their social media posts. I have two friends who have gone far left, but that’s it. I’m talking about a sample size of about 500 people.

Integration was a threat to a group of businessmen in the Carolinas who had their hands in the railroad industry and so they used their money to put out anti-integration propaganda that painted African-Americans in a bad light. Even back then, directly after the Civil War, during the Reconstruction Years, neighborhoods were much more mixed than they are today. Even in 1871, only a few years after the KKK was started by a group of Confederate veterans in Tennessee, the US. Government instated the Third Force Act aka the KKK Act which enabled the President to shut down active violence and threats through military force all terrorist organizations. The Republicans were the first to vote in African Americans to Congress (who they themselves were Republican) while the Democrats heavily opposed it. Even Lyndon B Johnson, the man who deflected the Civil Rights Act was a prejudiced democrat against African Americans. They just didn't mention his party affiliation.

I would like to add one point here. If I am correct, there is a media presence that supports conservative voices of all races, ethnicities and religions. That service is FOX. Why are all of you here yelling about liberal media "cutting off voices" when you should be asking why the media that should be giving them exposure isn't doing enough? I occasionally look at FOX and although I do see POC, I don't really see too many features on their points of view, way of life, etc. Conservatives have their own media and should be turning to it to provide greater conservative community solidarity.

When Trump said good people on both sides, I've heard he was referring to the people that were there advocating the taking down of historical statues and people protesting the removal of said statues. When he said bad people on both sides he was obviously referring to Antifa and the Skinheads (the violent groups). He was right on both accounts so this does not demonstrate racism.

I’m white and I’ve noticed this for years. Blacks have fought hard for their equal rights and their rights to chose. It’s sad that they get attacked when they chose for themselves and not chose as the majority. I’m a conservative and I’m proud of it and I get attacked over it because I live in the south and I’ve heard it my whole life but conservatism relates to me personally. If a black woman wants to be a conservative, it’s her right and she shouldn’t be ridiculed for it. It’s why blacks fought for their right, to exercise them.
nazsmith yea feminism isn’t what it was a decade ago. They first started up to fight for women’s equal rights. Well they achieved that and even more but it’s not enough now. He said something close to: 'a power structure that prevents access...' An example is when Jim Crow was in place.
Another example involves laws/ordinances/policies that are currently in place to prevent Blacks from voting or to make it highly difficult.
He did give an incomplete definition, but he may have gone back and added the rest. We will never know what they edited out or misrepresented.

You should look at the greater context of what president Trump said about "good people on both sides". In that statement he was not talking about the white supremacists and actually refers to them in the broader statement.
