You guys have gotten me through so many dark chapters of my life and when the darkness settles in, and the walls feel like their caving in, the words of this bands music is enough to bring one to the light yet again. I love how creative the art gets and with representing Demon Hunters logo. Every album cover is essentially just the logo but done in a unique way. Suffice to say I'm always excited to see new single/album art

Demon Hunter got me through high school. Now I am in my 30's and still regularly have Demon Hunter playing while I work. They never miss.

I totally slept on them. Most of the metal bands I listened to in the 2000's were As I lay Dying, In Flames, Killswitch Engage, A Ghost Inside, He Is Legend, BTBAM, Children of Bodom, Black Dhalia etc. Wish I knew about them sooner.

Crazy, just what I’ve been feeling lately. I’ve been getting back to stuff I loved doing when I was kid/teen before social media took over. It makes me think about who I was supposed to be/created to be before things came to take over our minds. It’s a daily battle, but I find more of myself in the joy of these things, the simplicity of it and pursuing God more like it use to be. Away from the crazy “connected” world.
Thank you for this song, it’s just what I needed to keep the motivation going ♥️

Totally agree,. I'm only 21, but being online most of the time just feels like slop to distract me from life. Sure, I get a kick out of it sometimes, and sometimes it's genuinely enjoyable or useful beyond the usual "barely sustaining". For the most part, though, I've been noticing myself getting more addicted to it, and I just hate it. Ironically, the more I spend "connected" online, the more I feel disconnected from everything, including myself. I'm really glad I found this comment, I wasn't sure what DH's meaning was with this song (not every song has to be explicitly about God obviously, though I sure love those songs), and I think my initial guess of a toxic relationship was still a correct interpretation, but social media's just as toxic of a relationship as any other.

To me that means like a dying to self and giving to God/more important things our time. I know it’s not easy for sure, it literally does feel like a war every day for our time. I can’t imagine growing up with it and how much harder that would be. While it can be a fun escape from time to time, there’s a war for our souls and we have to keep fighting. Being on lately I just keep seeing how much social media is getting worse, it feels like chaos with the info we’re being fed. And I question too how much is real now or what is AI or whatever. I miss when it just use to be posts from family/friends. Now it’s out of control.
I will love this band forever. Their lyrics are always just perfect.

As a guitarist for 20+ years, what I LOVE about Ryan, is that his vocals go so off kilter to what the band is doing, and yet sounds so in line. It is actually truly phenomenal. So unique.

Stumbled across Demon hunter a few years ago if I remember correctly and been a fan since. Love the changing of the band logo as well. I hope they make an official music video for this like they did with my other favorite songs.

With every album and single that has been released, I'm continually blown away that Demon Hunter has stayed so true to its core, and is still the same awesome band I started listening to 15 years ago with Storm the Gates of Hell. It is so refreshing to hear them with new stuff and it's hitting really hard in the lyrics and the time we are in. I tried to leave my testimony or part of it but the powers that b will not allow my comment to be seen. I said I had partied for almost 35 years straight and lives that life but I had a conscious. My Dad My Adopted Dad is a preacher so I grew up in church but was still wild. I decided I wanted to know how long I could party 🥳 and did some research and by my calculations I could party up until 2023 because the time frame of the end was possibly beginning. This generation shall not pass. Not Gadolf saying YOU SHALL NOT PASS. 😅
