Maybe using the chaos stratagem to deep strike within 3 inches. I was thinking of using it on a GUO or khorne demon prince to kill or block important units

I do think that 3" DS will be something we need to get more familiar with vs GSC & Daemons (+ whoever else might have it!) as yeah you can totally snag am obj from someone if they aren't careful
Having 2 MSU units of Nurglings in deep-strike, and then proceeding to draw "Investigate Signals" and "Engage on all fronts" secondaries on the same turn is truly a magical moment. Scoring secondaries reliably as Death Guard is not something I'm quite used to.
Yeah they're legit af :P I've had a few games where they scored almost 1/2 my secondaries just on their own. Can't beat that 40pt price with everything else they bring! And like you mention, they're esp valuable for DG as that movement / board control can be invaluable

With the pariah changes my favorite way of running nurglings, 9 man squads, is gonna be a bit more tempting, absolutly hilarious going first and getting a charge onto a rhino to prevent disembarks
I love blue horrors. I took them to a tournament recently and they took 60 attack, twice. Two separate units of 10, were attacked by some sisters, melee units. Each time, my 10 little blue horrors tanked the attacks and 3 survived the onslaught!
Nice work! Yeah I love all the Daemon infiltrators we have access too, Blue Horrors are great by having OC & *especially* great when the dice gods are on your side hah Glad you had good results with them, I alternate between them & Nurglings sometimes & both seem to have their merits for sure
@@fatarchon I plan to use a combo of infiltrate and deepstrike with blue horrors to tie up transports. Then I'll use shooting attacks to kill the transport. If I can do the screening right, killing the transport should kill everything inside too. I also, want to plop a hidden blue scribes unit close but to distribute mortal wounds as well.

Awesome vids you make and good explanation. I would wish you could make vids about making chaos demon list ? Competitive or semi competitive ? Or more fun lists with few combos ?
More Nurglings is never a bad thing! I reeeeally want to try the 'puss carpet' army list though. 54 Nurglings could probably block off like 1/4 of the board lol
I play CK and I'd do 1x3 Nurglings and 2x3 Flamers (or the Changeling, who has Lone Op!). That adds to 170 (about the cost of one dog + a few extra points) and gives you three deep striking units that can score secondaries, one that can infiltrate, and two that have OC to hold objectives (and that also shoot okay vs. chaff units). If you go all Nurglings you won't have ways to throw bodies onto objectives for cards that require holding something in the midfield early. Nurglings are ideal for BEL, Homers, Signals, and Engage though!

Knights being fairly low model count I would consider along the lines of what you're saying - Some Nurglings & then either the Flamers or even Blue Horrors. I'd agree unit quantity is more valuable so prolly not Horrors. I do still think x3 Nurglings is viable as you get the Infiltrate tricks but your suggestion is just as worthwhile depending on the game plan
@@fatarchon Yeah, I like at least one infiltrate unit because if you pull Area Denial early you just need to be able to reach the center, and if you pull Engage early you just need to reach the other table quarter. It's not about having OC on the unit, so Nurglings do the trick. Flamers are quick, but they don't infiltrate, so they have a harder time reaching these positions on turn 1. I think a mix is best!
Secret nurgling strat vs GSC (and an incentive to take 6x9 nurglings). If you can cover enough of the battlefield with nurglings, your opponent won’t have any space to set up their cult ambush counters 😅
