I did this using the parts i ordered. Followed the copper grease application on the surface. I have the car in the garage to check where could be the steering wiggle comes from. They said the copper grease. Alignment and wheel balancing is good. Just remove all the copper grease like as you show here.

I ordered springs from you late last thursday and this morning (tuesday) they arrived, I followed the excellent instructions and my broken spring is now replaced. But as the recommendation is to replace both I will do thye second one (hopefully) tomorrow. Some of the torque values in your instructions seems to be on the high side given the quite small dimensions on the bolts. I looked in Haynes manual for the Clio 3 and they recommend 21 Nm for the upper strut mounting. You recommend over 40 Nm which is very much for such a small bolt. Same with the tiny bolt for the sway bar strut, 65 Nm is way too much - "anti roll link arm" has a recommended 44 Nm in Haynes manual. I adjusted to a more suitable amount of torque to avoid snapping the bolts or stripping the threads.

Very helpful, thank you. But where to buy that 18mm socket needed for the top strut mount ? Where you go through with a 6 mm Hex bit ?

You can get acquainted with the set and purchase it at the following link: www.autodoc.co.uk/yato/13639595?search=YATO%20Socket%20Set%20(YT-0628)

Unfortunately, we cannot say for sure and that's why we recommend to contact the car workshop.

Fantastic video but you skip the steps when the damper shaft is not concentric with the spring prior to refitting the strut top. It is a wrestling match to straighten this up. It is a nightmare. Must be a tecnique to it... arggh.

You are absolutely right, some points were missed, but we will definitely add this in our new videos.

Half of the torque numbers you gave are wrong. You made me destroy the thread on the stabilizer and the 3 upper fixing screws for the shock absorber. SHAME ON YOU

Morons, I've just done the same thing... why give the wrong torque values out. Better yet, you haven't even updated them after the feedback from this user.
