      Now I have changed front suspension springs on my Clio, everything was like in your video - including the rust at the top center bolt holding the shock absorber 🙂Super great !

      Hi thanks. I can’t remember actually what brand they are. They were from my local auto store. It wasn’t a big name brand. Something like “CD” or something. Thanks for watching. All the best 👍

    I have a Renault Grand modus, which appears to have the same struts and mounts. The struts came with a washer and a nut - I’ve had a local garage assemble the struts - they have placed the washer on the underside of the mount. They were unsure as to the positioning of the washer. Before I fit to the car I was wondering if this was correct, or should the washer sit directly below the nut, on top of the mount? I could not see any washer being required in your video. PS really helpful and clear instruction - thanks.

      Hi. I’d say directly under the nut would be normal, but under the mount will also help strengthen it a little. So long as it has been torqued properly I’d be happy to put it on my car like it. Hope that helps. All the best 👍

    hi ive seen on autodoc you can by a pre-assembled shock and spring for clio. would that mean it would just bolt in without the need for a spring compressor would you know thanks?

      Hi. Yeah if it’s preassembled then it should be all good. You don’t need to take the old one apart if the new one is complete. No spring compressors required. All the best 👍

      Hi, personally no I didn't. Making sure it's torqued up under pressure should mitigate any changes, but it would never be unrecommended. All the best 👍

    Bonjour, ton ressort est comprimé sur quelle longueur ? Entre les deux griffres de mon outil, j'ai une distance de 100 mm que je ne peux pas comprimer, je suis au maximum de la capacité de mon outil.A ton avis je dois comprimer davantage ?

      Salut. Je ne me souviens pas exactement de la distance, mais si elle est compressée et qu'elle s'adapte, ça devrait aller. Tous mes vœux 👍

    What size are the bolts going through the wheel hub?

    47nm is the WRONG torque spec for the 3 top mount bolts.
    Theres NO WAY that an M8 thread can hold that much torque. Check the haynes manual, they state 21nm, which is absolutely correct, otherwise you'll strip the threads.
    Shame on you for spreading this misinformation.
