@valuablelesson We don't go all the way down because it sometimes contributes to tendinitis in the elbow. Akban's veterans did 5 times the "24" and countless marathons. Show respect
can i ask you ! You said that i should searched on google ninjutsu akban portal! But i found wiki! Is it the page you recommeded me ? (Sorry i am vietnamese so my english isn't very well )
My fellow students at the High School I was attending criticized me endlessly for not completing "full reps" but, who doesn't have joint problems now? This guy.
+Nathan Bladen Tendonitis is an overuse injury. Instead limiting the ROM, balance your regimen. Do a variety of pushups and work your rear delts etc. I like Ido Portal's ideas on this. He focus on a variety of calisthenics to make sure his body avoids injury from overuse. He says the cause in specifying instead of generalizing.
Well, I gotta say, I’ve been somewhat critical of some of your other vids. I think some of the techniques are valid, some not. But kudos to you for at least being in shape. I don’t know why you would want to fly your stuff under the banner of ninjutsu. I think you have some worthwhile stuff and a passion for what you do. There are very few ninja guys that include any real sparring or tough fitness regimen in their curriculum. You demonstrate some decent concepts from boxing and other arts. Your stuff is definitely steps above the ninjutsu shit that’s out there. And I’m including Hatsumi and all the other bs ers in this.
Thanks for the good words, I appreciate your honesty. Maybe this recent video, part of the syllabus we did not upload, will help frame what we do th-cam.com/video/0mjte15LSck/w-d-xo.html
Great and humbling video. Should stress, also in the video, that people should consult their doctors before initiating such an intense program. Some people are brain-dead, and need a Cisui Tahat
This is no big deal, Opening the legs while doing straight push-ups is slightly more demanding to the lower belly sphincters. Putting one foot over the other is slightly easier because of this.
los ejercicios no están correctamente realizados , la postura no es estricta y deben mirar hacia adelante con la cabeza y el abdomen 100 % recto . saludos maestro
Why is your top off, & what’s special about regular warm ups, I don’t like nocking any styles but, when your showing regular routine stuff it’s like ok then what ever.
Thanks for sharing ! That was interesting. I used to do shorinji kempo so it brings back some good memories :) One tiny comment though: your students can not count to 10 in Japanese :/

It does my heart justice to see that there is another ninjutsu school that stresses the same attitude as we do in NYC! Gambatte!
He seems like a very interesting guy. Wish I could train with him to experience a little of his style from my own.

Channel moderator here, thanks for the good vibe.
I think most of us can count in Japanese, but these are veterans, so the atmosphere is informal :)
You seem like an amazing teacher. I wish you were here in Seattle. Blessings!
Thanks M. B. Maybe one day I’ll travel to the States
Thank you, learning from all your work.
Thanks Gustave! I am happy that our videos are useful. Keep on training!
Not as Mr. Sheriff, but as the moderator of the TH-cam AKBAN channel, I can say that crunches (half situps) are better for the lower back.
i must say that you guys look amazing, especialy your sensei for man in his late 40s back then
Thanks! I hope you'll be able to utilize the abilities you still have.
The wiki is ours. It includes the Ninjutsu portal
@ninjalla, apologies my intention was not to disrespect. But rather to incite a response. Thank you for your answer.
What does opening your legs during push-ups do? The guy on the left of the screen was doing push-ups this way.
Thank You MAster !
great video...
is it a combat scar on the instructors stomach? Or is it from having his appendix removed?
Very good

@valuablelesson Sure thing my friend. Keep training :)
I dont understand why the pushups are not done all the way down?
To protect the elbow and shoulders from tendinitis

@Domeran They are counting in Japanese. They are located in Israel.
Sure thing!
why dont they go all the way down with the push ups? different results/benefits then a full push up?

How many reps?

you need to put out a workout video
are they counting in japanese? the origin of this video is so confusing
I didn't know ninjas did push ups :D or are known to the public
@MrMegaPhil1 3 times a week is good, 5 times a week is the maximum
پشمام چقدر زیر خاکیه . من اون موقعه 7 سالم بود
wow
@@AkbanOrg You really are a great teacher
better than 150 push ups is to make 15 with ONE hand
two hand push ups are for girls
and, of course, you should touch the soil with nose each time
Then why don't you make a video do it or are you scared?
silence just flow with it that's a key no thought
ok
@MrMegaPhil1 Get a medical check 1st. Then you can do the exercises and also run. Running according to our tables on the akban.org site is best.
I'm twelve so I was only able to do thirty.
In a row.
yes I training Ninjutsu yes us long time he in Brazil Takegawa ninjutsu Budo
@legoy4life we didn't want to count in Yiddish

Your name, @Shugendo11, suggests an old Japanese religion with ancient connection to Martial arts, your manners suggest otherwise.
