In the UK there's a game called _Screwball Scramble_ that operates in a similar way. Mad fun. There's also an awesome Donkey Kong version of this type of game, I believe. I think the *Barshens* channel covered it. Worth a look.
These toys look are one better than the other, especially these ball adventure ones! By the way, it's called "Mario's Adventure Island"! The previous one was called "Dinosaur Land Escape Game Junior" (yes, the Dinosaur Land from Super Mario World), I'm putting it here since I forgot to say it in the previous video.
This actually looks a lot of fun LOL I wish there were more toys like these ! Even in Japan I don’t see them around too much anymore but I remember them when I was a kid ! So nostalgic 💕
Glad to hear it! One of the things I'm most excited for on this channel is to try ideas that I wouldn't do on my main channel. Every video on that channel takes weeks to finish so trying something random and new is a bit more nerve wracking.
@@Peebs I'm glad you are making videos like these. Not something I'd normally be into, but with toys this rare, this is pretty much our only way of getting to experience stuff like this. One day, these toys will be gone and videos like these will be the only way to see and understand them. Thanks a bunch!
This was fun, Peebs! It was surprisingly engaging watching you try to figure out how it worked. Thanks for sharing with us! (And Sir Toasty for editing it. Good stuff sirs!)
Congratulations on 100k for this channel! ❤️ I have been a fan of yours for years and it's exciting to see you continue to grow! Also, that is a really beat toy! So lucky to get something so rare like that!
I have a very similar marble game. Mine is themed after super Mario Land for the gameboy and I've managed to keep it complete over the decades. A family friend sent it from Japan when I was a kid. I would love to sell it but I have almost no reference for price or any real strategy to research it.
This is the Japanese Child's version of Pinball. You can wildly press the buttons and make things happen, but only with careful, precise presses will it actually go where you want it to. Very cool, Peebs. I hope you get your money's worth outta this toy :)
Peens iv been whacking your vids for years and I just want you to know your vids are amazing and keep up the not only good but amazing work your a amazing youtuber keep on making vids and remember don’t give up.
Oooooh, pressure-sensitive controls. I actually like that idea, being a fan of Precision levels in the Mario Makers. I can see a lot of Japanese kids learning precise button inputs from this toy.
*Suggestion for Peebs:* LOOK up the Mario talking phone. It's really pricey since it's rare and old, but I think that toy would be up your ally and you'd have a lot of fun for it's simplicity, lol. I mean it's a semi-toy, but regardless I think you'd like it! Love your content, please keep up the great work. 💜💜💜

I had the pinball toy Mario one in Japan ocen

The title on the box in Japanese is "Mario's Adventure Island".

No problem, been a fan of you for a long time, glad to be here!
Ok
I just watched a grown man play with 20 year old marbles
AND I ENJOYED IT
more like 30 or 25
You are indeed the funny man
in Japan the word for 4 is "shi" which also means "death" so this ball toy could be called Mario's Death Area.
yes... this
Huh, so that's why Mista is scared of the number 4. (Before you say anything, yes this is a JoJo reference.)
@@alexandercorbett1147 yep, that's exactly why.
_Even though he's Italian._
I thought four was "yon?"
@@tyshco2969 The character for 4 (四) can be read as either yon or shi.
