What got me curious is in the orange border of things directly being done there's a long narrow area attached to a larger area well outside the park. My first thought was a dark ride outside the borders of the park (like Disneyland does with Indiana Jones or Pirates or... well, lots of rides) but that's unlikely because that's a really long pathway to it.
When you triple the capacity of an area, I would consider that an expansion. Everyone knows that the 4 rides (2 Cars + 2 Villains) will have 3-5x the capacity of the ROA and TSI combined so in that regard I would consider it an expansion, the same way I consider Pandora over Camp Minnie Mickey an expansion. Also, the Villains Land will be built on land that currently isn't used for the park so that also makes it an expansion.
MK at WDW should be about the same size of EPOCT, and HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS could've been built right next to the MK, with all that surrounding land near the MK.It's seems like MK and HOLLY WOOD STUIOS go hand and hand
OG- if you look at the town from the Night on Bald Mountain segment of Fantasia, it’s the same buildings/art direction as the village on the right side of the concept art
Thank you so much for making the point about the backlash from tsi coming from a specific audience and not necessarily a part of the overall "truth" about the land. i've seen so much false reporting about disney "changing their minds!" when it's just content creator bs. the internet values their own opinions a little too much and is overconfident with their influence. tsi is not wheelchair accessible, is so unpopular that it doesn't open until 11am and closes as dusk...as "pretty" as someone thinks it is, an 8 year old and future consumer, doesn't care about that island more than they like Cars.
They could have stage shows at the castle in Villians and at Cindy’s castle. They could shoot stage show fireworks off at the same time like there is a battle happening between the two lands. Hell, they coups even have a Villians cavalcade and a hero cavalcade meet somewhere in the MK and have some sort of singing face off. The possibilities here are endless!
Very excited for villains land!! Really hope that Disney does it right and doesn’t make it too “cutesy” and goes darker instead. I agree that the expansion of a 5th park dedicated to villains is a little much, just seeing it now but maybe I’ll change my mind once phase 1 is done!! Thanks for sharing/reacting to this video by The Nobel way.
It seems Disney could go 2 ways with Villains land. One way is a mash-up such as a roller coaster featuring multiple villains. But better for future growth, might Disney create separate attractions based on specific IP. For example, a Sleeping Beauty attraction focused on Melificent. A 101 Dalmatians attraction focused on Cruella De Vil or a Fantasia (Night on Bold Mountain) attraction, etc. The separate IP approach is how a Villains land phase 2 would work.
Been wondering if a long term option is to build a Villians themed deluxe resort connected to the back of Villians Land beyond the railroad with direct entrance
OK hear me out. The coaster in the photo could be definitely themed to Maleficent and a thrill coaster. The mansion looking building could be an entrance to a Cruella dark ride where she is hunting the dalmatians, kinda like Mr Toad but trackless. The underground coaster ride could be Hades themed to the Underworld and a family coaster. Expansion could pull in Ursula's domain.I feel like Carsland area should go in the area listed as Villains Phase 2 though and then adding a Pixar hotel attached with the villains hotel in the Fantasy Springs area listed on his map. Then the area that is supposed to be Cars land could be Sleepy Hollow since it blends with Liberty Square and you go through the forest to Villains area. I wish i was an imagineer.
I hope they heavily theme where the railroad goes through or past Villains Land. They missed a big opportunity there with Tron. They could have done a Tron-themed diorama instead of that plain tunnel.
I absolutely can’t wait, but there are some things that I’ll respectfully disagree with Noble here is that Universal will make Disney fail if Disney doesn’t do the Villains Land, but I don’t think that’ll be the case because right now that happens to not be the case, maybe sure with Epic Universe open next year it will get its very time to shine for a long time, but Disney will stay have crazy amounts of visitors nonetheless even with all the construction walls up next year in the parks. I know by the time those walls come down and the drawbridge is down, we are now talking zombie apocalypse level potentially, if Disney can actually do it right. But overall I’m ready for Villains Land and what it may have to offer (i’m still over-the-top excited for Epic Universe, I just get more excited on what is on the horizon than what is near) Disney I hope you see this message, give me that Maleficent Dragon on the final product please lol. Great vid, love Noble Way’s content a lot
In some ways a part 2 seems like a lot, but if we dedicate as much space and only end up with 2 rides, I' gonna be kind of disappointed. I guess they better be 2 amazing rides. But it feels a bit like Avengers Campus, and even Batuu. In both cases they feel under used . Avengers is addressing that in the future with 2 more rides.
HOT EPISODE fellas! This conversation had me stoked! 🔥😎✌️
Mt. Baldy😆

Are you going to do a video on Tropical Americas at the Animal Kingdom?
Yes we are, actually recording it later today !
We need a Yzma and Kronk secret lab coaster!

I would love to see a hades boat ride.
You know what could go into that extra space instead of "too much Villains Land"?
Discovery Bay.
Yessss 🥰
CONSPIRACY THEORY:
Oogie Boogie Bash and Villains Grove were trial balloons for Villains Land...
I really like the idea of Villains Land being more little-kid friendly during the day, then getting very spooky and scary at night.

Villains Land in DCA would be amazing.
LET ME COOK NOW

I 100% agree, its total nonsense, I personally gave up on lots of content creators because of these assumptions and conclusions

Take count photo shoots as attractions. What if they did a villains photo shoot station as the second attraction? People would be quite mad.
Good morning everyone!

A Fantasy Hotel has an issue. There has to be clearance for fireworks!
I still think this will be better at a 5th gate

I hope they do a much better job on Maleficent’s castle than they did on the beasts castle.

Disney has a dragon at disneyland Paris their a full blown malificant dragon underneath the castle that breathes smoke at you
One of the main reasons I personally want to visit Disneyland Paris alongside Phantom Manor
Disney Villains Land > Breaking Ground......LATE..... 2030. 😁 (😔).
Most expensive undertaking 😅
