Hey guys, thanks for watching - great reaction video - love the commentary! A couple of things: Regarding the epic hotels, they are sold out except for as part of packages, they are holding back blocks of rooms for packages - I suspect they will release them at some point if they don’t sell out the packages. I also believe the packages are still widely available due to the fact people are waiting for the single day tickets and APs. As for Monsters, yes that was the ride vehicle - it’s a variation of the Kuka Arm vehicle used on Forbidden Journey minus the box around you that obstructs your view. This shows the ride will be 360 degree immersive versus the gimmicks used on Forbidden Journey. Take care!
Completely agree…. I do not mind a one-day park-hopper to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, just for the Wizarding World, but nothing more than that to enter Epic Universe.
Why buy a package when Universal has said all the ticket deals aren’t released. Another thing is Universal at least in the tristate areas hasn’t even started to advertise the new park. The normies don’t even know about it.
The animatronics look great and are the first thing that has really peaked my interest for Epic Universe. However, I say lets wait until we see how they look in the ride and fully functioning. I was blown away at the video WDI released of the Tiana animatronics, but not so much when I saw how they were in the ride. They are great just not as mind blowing as I was expecting after the initial viewing. Guess it doesn't help that they have issues working regularly. And from the clips shown, feels like there will be a number of scenes on screens in the ride, so will need to see how that blends together.
Just to let you guys know, the granddaughter of Walt Disney did NOT like the idea of them making him in animatronic form. So I don't think Disney should take that risk. If they do it, she might request them to take it down.
Walt's granddaughter can be upset all she wants, she has no legal say in the matter. Disney owns the rights to the Walt Disney name, image and likeness. The Walt Disney Family Museum also helped with the project. Do you know who co-founded museum and is President of the Board? Walter E D Miller, Walt's grandson. So her own brother seems to be ok with it as well as some other family members.
In this economy you're wondering why things are booked up in couple days? Really?? Not to mention most average people don't want to go on an opening weekend just to stand in line the whole time. I like many other people I've talked to will wait for things to die down before spending thousands of dollars.
As someone who those ticket packages are meant to be for, it actually caused my excitement for Epic Universe to decline. Both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure can easily be experienced with a single-day park-hopper, as there is not as much to do in those parks, as there will be at Epic Universe. Honestly, Universal made a huge mistake by forcing a minimum of a 3-day vacation, rather than just settling for people who just want 2 days at their parks. Also, most people outside of Florida do not even know the new park is opening.
The Wolfman animatronic is basically a smaller version of the Yeti. Disney needs to fix that, can't let Universal copy their idea and have theirs working.

That is the open top vehicle.
28:12 Some of the Tiana animatronics are like the Fantasy Springs ones though. If only they didn’t break down often 😂
I think people like myself are waiting for the single and multi-day tix to Epic become available. I'm not paying for 3 day tix just for 1 day at Epic

The paint work on the skin is actually the most impressive part of the monster animatronics.
