They actually fixed the Pikmin glitch with spirits, so you no longer deal disproportionate damage/launching with them. What you saw was just the normal overpowering of spirits you get with any character now, which is why it took you a few hits to kill, like with most characters.

I softlocked myself accidentally on my first run because I threw out my lapras spirit, so I thought the only way to get it back was to start a new save file and play up to the point where you get lapras so I could go to the island, which took me like a week

People seem to forget you can guy spirits in shops in this game to avoid soft-locking, i'm not sure if the needed spirit is programmed to spawn however
The needed spirits appear in wol, if you lose all spirits capable of aiding in a puzzle, then the shop will sell something to help you
But Actually alpharad, you can buy spirits that have an influence on the world of light in shop
But actually Megaspectre, Alpharad feels too lazy to buy the fortnite bus driver.
Megaspectre that is cheating for an 100% Run , reason he did it is cuz he soft locked himself.

It's a feature in the game, much like how the Ice Climber's wobble in earlier smash games, while a colossal dick move, was a fair strategy even if it made the fighting too easy.

@@TorManiak Honestly, most of the busted stuff shown in this run is just as busted in hard mode. It's really just a matter of letting the AI walk into your cheese of choice (whether that cheese be charged f smash, random spikes, or inhale shennanigans).

Everyone falls for it but you also have to beat Dharkon and Gaaleem separatedly in the final battle for the 100% to count. Besides the other spirits that is, just in case someone beat em all and don't get the 100%.
ALDO Nueve funny enough, I did it the first time and I was sad that I didn't experience the bad ending until I had to beat 1 on the two separately after I beat the game

Since you went to the Spirit Board to get Kapp'n, you must journey to 100% all spirits. Including Fighter Spirits.

There are others of Kirby’s kind, like Meta Knight for example. Other members of Kirby and Meta Knight’s race were probably used as a puppet fighter template in Kirby’s place.

Because Joker could be very strong, and dominate everyone in smash. The three agreed to the treaty, and will only fight each other for training, or against each other in a tournament. For training the three tried to gain resistance to all elements, and tried not to trip to avoid all out attacks. To this day they train to become the ultimate counter to Joker. What will happen next? You have to wait to find out.

For your New Game + playthrough (if you do one), try a challenge where you have to use the Dharkon spirit against all the light fighters and the Galeem spirit against all the dark fighters. Their abilities really do make a difference. It can get pretty tough.

Oh the idea of a spiritless run sounds amazing for the sheer pain that will cause as Alpharad's power is turned against him, but do we really want to do it to him?
I feel like a Nuzlocke on hard with the stipulation that Alpharad's primary spirit in every match has to be the same (or lower) star rating as his opponent would be MUCH more entertaining.
