In regards to Saturn’s motives this chapter (around 2:05:00) I believe that he had Ginny go to Kuma so he could lure him into the trap. It makes sense with what Bonney says and Vegapunk says, this was all planned by Saturn.
Saturn knows the truth about Nika, he also knows that Kuma is a buccaneer who has been passed down the legend of Nika, if you wanted your test subject to become like Nika, wouldn’t you want them to learn by someone resourceful like a buccaneer? I think this is all because elders goal rn is to secure a Nika-like power source for the Mother Flame that can flood entire nations aka the great cleansing

i personally think one of the coolest dragons in one piece is one i never ever really see mentioned and that is the milenium dragon or what its name in english is in the german version the dragon was called mileniums drache
