    Great video again. That was a nice trick using the localizer of the ILS to help keep you on the centerline of the runway for takeoff.

    Why do you need to see only 6 CL when doing a LVTO? The minimum RVR requirement is 125M, but 6 lights means 90M.

    Good video thanks .
    My question in CAT 1 if the RVR is less than 550 but the arrival aircraft reports RWY is visible and clear can i allow him to land or should i force him to go around?
    And if i allow him to land what the phraseology i should use .
    Is it cleared to land or land at your discretion?

    On the edge i count 2 edge-lights (120m) so which value i keep between the edge lights and the 7 centerline lights (105m) ? I presume the higher ?

    Thank you for the video. I just wanted to ask you if the 6 centreline lights(90m) is applicable to RVR 150 or for RVR 125 only? Also for the take off alternate, does it need to be cat 1 weather conditions at least?

    • @PILOTCLIMB
      @PILOTCLIMB  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, many thanks for watching!! Yes, the center line lights spaced by 15m are applicable to the 125m RVR. The takeoff alternate should be at least CAT1 weather, but it depends on the type of approach available at the takeoff alternate aerodrome. Let me know if I answered your question!! 👍👍

      @@PILOTCLIMB Thanks for the reply. My question is what is the visual segment required for RVR150? (For RVR125 you stated that 90m (6 centerlin lighs) should be visible before starting the takeoff roll. Is there requirement same if you are only authorised for the 150RVR only? Thanks in advance.

    • @PILOTCLIMB
      @PILOTCLIMB  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@abishekrai5561 Hey, for a Low visibility take-off with 150m you need the RVR to be above 150m, on top you need the light (centerline and edge light) to be operative. The requirement to have a visual segment is only applicable to the 125m. Let me know if I answered you👍
