- We all have that one hiking friend. They have all the gear, they just never want to go hiking. I mean they do, they just don't want to walk. You tell them we're leaving at 11:00 and they aren't ready until 1:30. On this trip I'm at 20 mile lakes in southwest Idaho with that one backpacking friend.

2:22 Camp at Twenty Mile Lakes
6:27 Be curious
I think it might be fun to not blatantly give away where I'm at in these videos anymore. In terms of saying like "I'm at this lake this from from this city." But to sprinkle clues and signs throughout the video and description so that you kind of have to explore yourself to find it. I don't know, let's try it and see if it's fun.
Thought you weren't going to blatantly give away where you are? It's right in your intro for this video! And what's that at 0:36 & 1:10?
@@Boisecuda Ya that’s the sprinkling of clues and signs. Those are literal signs.
Awesome cribbage. Love those lakes.
Great video as always. "Jon... is ruining my view." ... haha
Great video!
Thank you
This looks amazing. I really miss hiking. I used to do it a lot about 17 years ago.
How did I know this would turn into a brett is lazy video? 🤣
You shot half of it lol 😂 I tell the story that’s present Brett
Thanks for sharing. Great drone footage.
Thanks for watching!
Yes, I do, my son..... I have actually left without him, pissed him off but hey, you wanna hike with me, be on time.
Dude it's not just Brett, he's just the only one I put up with. Like 90% of the people I hike with are "lazy" hikers. Which is totally fine people! I just don't want to hike that way.
@@JonConti I have an excuse, I am old and have bad knees.... lol. If I have the energy when finally making it to camp I'll wander around, take pics and make b-roll. But if I am beat ( like my upcoming vids will show going up Asgard Pass) I will lounge around camp, eat food and drink whatever fermented or distilled beverage I have.
Storm Peak near Upper Payette Lake ? Beautiful videos man, very envyous of your adventures.
Sure is! Nice work.
Man at first I was thinking rainbow basin but nope. Would love to hike with you some time but after I get more trail conditioning. Hiked into hell roaring last sat set up camp and hiked about 4-5 more miles just exploring the area and eating huckleberries
I think I'm doing that same thing next week
Jon, what does your pack weigh on a trip like this? Just curious.
New sub ! Liked 👍🤘😉😉
