I obviously meant for this video to go live for Halloween. But I got stuck fighting some copyright BS.
Glad that horror show is over, so we can instead talk about THIS horror show. Follow me on Twitter twitter.com/graeme_games

I like how you can't really tell what commentary was in the moment, and what was added after watching the movie, up until 1:46:57, which is the only moment you really reacted so extremely in your voice.

The **vast** majority of it was in the moment! I re-recorded a couple things where I just bumbled on my words. And maybe inserted a joke or two? But it was mostly live reacting :)

I am so glad I remembered this channel, since I'm a fan of your gaming stuff. But I actually prefer television and film analysis, just slightly.
I hate that this video doesn't have more views yet, since it's the kind of commentary/critique that I enjoy most.
I really hope you keep making vids like this and your others.

You stated that you weren't aware of any other movies like these. The whole Rube Goldbergesque death sequence thing was first done in The Omen Trilogy in the 1970's. The Final Destination films replace Damien, the AntiChrist, with a more nebulous " Hand of Fate" catalyst, but they were definitely inspired by The Omen trilogy.

And, fun fact: pretty much all the effects in Final Destination 2 were done practically. Some of the only bits of CGI were replacing actors faces, and the logs in the opening disaster

And I thought I couldn't love that movie any more than I already did!

lmfao Tod's death really is such a dick move from the reaper, especially considering that it never does anything like that in the franchise ever again

Just last month I went through watching all 5 of these movies over 2 days. I love these movies! I would recommend checking out the Wiki for these films because there is a section where you can see how this phenomenon of 'cheating death' and premonitions within the film's universe actually comes from, how the characters are all connected, etc. A very cool read if that's something you think you'd be interested in :) This was a great video, I love the channel! Keep up the amazing work :D

I had no idea that was rooted in a real world phenomena! Sounds like it'd be a fascinating read :D

It's like my favourite 10 seconds of the last year. When I saw an opportunity to include it, I couldn't help myself! It brings me much joy to know someone else enjoyed it as much as I did xD

I love these films (besides 4). When i was a kid i always liked 3 the best because the sun bed death traumatised me

Final Destination is one of those franchises that’s absolutely stupid, but it’s the good and entertaining kind of stupid

I'm hoping they make like 5 more Escape Room movies. The 2 they've made are the closest thing I've ever found to Final Destination in the stupid-fun-horror genre, where the movies are still at least watchably good.
If you know of any other series that land in that sweet spot, I'd love to hear them!

@@2leftframes There’s Ready Or Not, but that’s only standalone. Might be worth checking out though

@@CyborgCharlotte I was just talking about that with someone the other night! Great movie. I've been really enjoying following Samara Weaving's career so far :)
