    "Laswell says you're called Ghost."
    "Actually, he prefers--."
    "That'll do!"

    Using a small amount of electric tape can also be a cost effective way to secure a 3D printed headsculpt that doesn't quite fit the neck peg. Simply wrap the ball joint of the neck peg to the desired amount of tension and place the head onto it, securing it in place. The elasticity of the tape fills the socket almost in the same manner as the hot glue trick you showed in this video.

      That's a great tip! A bit of elastic putty (like the type you'd use to hang things on walls) can also be a nice re-usable option.

    Great job. Action Force for the win. The are the figures for customizing and kitbashing. Bobby left everyone behind when he made all his figures interchangeable with each other. I have got multiples of all his figures to kit bash and make multiple sub teams. Good times. Have a good day brother.

    I am using the Valaverse Duster figure to team build using a multiple of different head sculpts. I might give it a go to make a Ghost figure for myself.

      Nice! Make sure to also check out Anthanatos Unlimited on Etsy as they just offered a new selection of Ghost heads (in addition to different weapons/gear that could help build out a squad).

    Id also recommend the black series Obi wan from Target he comes with a backpack and a softgoods cape/scarf that works for the Ghost theme

      That's a great recommendation! The scarf/robe with the Tibidon station Kenobi is brown, but it has a perfect design for fitting over one shoulder!

    You wouldn't happen to have an etsy of painted head sculpts? Im going to try this but not very confident.

    • @star_wars_showcase
      @star_wars_showcase  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Apologies, but I don't. Syndicate Customs does some great work, but they are AUS based, so you'd likely need a bigger order to justify the shipping. That said, if you do take things on yourself, take it nice and slow while remembering that multiple thin layers is the best way to get vibrant colors without paint streaking/glopping.

    • @adefoe6552
      @adefoe6552 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Appreciate it. Looking at paints now, do I stick with the citadel “base” paint? Or do I need the the “layer”, and “dry” as well?

    • @star_wars_showcase
      @star_wars_showcase  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@adefoe6552 I'd recommend just the base. Layer and dry paints are often used in miniature painting (like War Hammer 40K) as they allow you to highlight raised areas and emphasize specific details. For headsculpts like this, a base layer is often enough, especially for a sculpt like Ghost who doesn't have many distinctive facial features like eyes, a nose, scars, etc.

      @@star_wars_showcase k didn’t think about that, more of just 3D printing one, and the other problem I have is that most places I look the valaverse spec ops pack is sold out, but I’m definitely gonna have to see if that’ll work now,

    • @star_wars_showcase
      @star_wars_showcase  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@zane3824 That Spec Ops troop is a great solid base, but he's pretty hard to come by these days. Make sure to also check out Anthanatos Unlimited as they sell 3D printed vests and gear that might work well for this type of project!

      Thanks for the kind words! I unfortunately don't have any more of these figures as they've all found new homes over the past few months. That said, I'm happy to provide you with any help or support if you're looking to make your own!
