    The examples of the different units was very well done perhaps you could even do a longer video on such examples of battles that they did later in the year.

    Question? Could you make a successor chapter for the deathwatch?

    • @jaydayee

      Good question

    • @fatmandoobius
      @fatmandoobius 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At first I was thought of course not derp question but thinking on it why not?
      I mean they’re not exactly a chapter so to speak more like a group/unit that have members come from and go back to their own chapters unless they do take their own recruits which I was unaware of if so fair enough.
      Yet at the same time why couldn’t they have a successor organisation that stems or split off from them that’s got slightly different rules or ideals on the topic of xenos
      So yea good question.

    • @Alorand
      @Alorand 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes. Example: A chapter that was destroyed by the Xenos, except for a whole company that was serving in the Deathwatch at the time, who returned to their Fortress Monastery just in time to rescue their geneseed stores and Chapter artifacts. This chapter now has a tradition that every space marine must do a decade of service in the Death Watch to honor the salvation of the chapter.

    • @AllAboutMiims

      @@Alorand an entire company serving at the same time, AFAIK, Doesn't happen

    • @Alorand
      @Alorand 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AllAboutMiims It can when an Lord Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos calls a special type of a crusade against the xenos scourge. It recruits all the Imperial forces in the sector and the Deathwatch are essential in coordinating the various Space Marines that got caught up in the crusade order (I forgot what it's called, something in fake Latin about despising the Xenos)
      Without the authority of the Deathwatch each chapter might just ignore the command and do their own thing.
      Edit: I think that's from a Black Library story, but maybe it was well written fan fluff?

    Would Kasrkin work with Valhallan Ice Warriors? Or do they have a special unit of their own? Working on an imperial guard army was wondering if tossing my Kasrkin in with my Valhallans would be lore friendly. Cheers to the awesome video tho 🔥 didn't know that much about scions

    Tempestus scions are ONLY Tempestus Scions
    Kasrkins, Katachans and Stormtroopers(inquisition Stormtroopers) are veteran guardsmen/"grenadiers" so... In my opinion they are worse than Scions
    And of course Scions are THE BEST warriors after Space marines

    • @KalashVodka175
      @KalashVodka175 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Part of the reason why there's a confusion is that the term Scion (Which is actually GW's pseudolatin for "Stormtrooper", ie, high gothic) actually applies to a number of different troop types from various organizations, including the Imperial guards (regimental elite troops like the Kasrkins, any IG regiment can posess elite units of stormtroopers trained locally), the Imperial Navy (naval security) and the Tempestus Scion. The Inquisition even has its own pool of stormtroopers pooled mostly from the Tempestus.
      In truth the organization's name is the Tempestus
