Isn’t it amazing that nearly 10 years later, we are still watching old Obama videos. I know I certainly did the last 4 years if only to remind myself that once, we had an eloquent, thoughtful, generous and gracious man at the helm of the country.

The Trump administration's turnover rate is very high, around 95% in 4 years, whether they are fired, terminated, removed or stepped down. Just one simple example, a total of 5 WH press secretaries under the Trump administration in 4 years, compared to Obama's only 3 WH press secretaries in 8 years. And most of the staff under the Obama administration were so respectful, proud and loyal to their bosses, because Obama treated his staff with kindness and respect, treating them like a big WH family, very much the opposite of a Trump administration. Working under the Trump administration is like a nightmare, whenever someone is fired.

There's an old saying that goes like this "If you want to have friends, you have to first be a friend." Pres. Obama and Michelle were just that..........friends as well as leaders in our government. They were "touchable" down to earth just like us. I miss sooo many things about those days Pres. Obama served as our President. The evening concerts at the White House, Michelle's garden, the two of them dancing, etc. the delightful holidays with all the kids around, their love of family, friends AND each other. And yet there was a definite respect and gratitude by this country for their positions and the responsibilities they tried so honestly to fulfill for the good of the people. The world around us saw that in them and in us as well, and in that we had the respect and trust of many worldwide. We must each one strive with every fiber of our being to reclaim all those character traits as a government of individuals all with families, friends, and loved ones to care for and about, that was initially founded to be by the people, and for the people. God help us.................

Off the cuff would infer a speech that wasn't prepared, yet he presented the press secretary with a gift. This is how a real President sounds like. Here is a list of modern presidents that sound like one: Truman, JFK, LBJ, Nixon (yes, even him), Ford (yep, even that lovable dumb-dumb) , Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr. Trump can’t measure to any of them.
