I have the same ups and mine at some point it doesnt start with 6 batteris on selftest it fails. But it starts with 5. What could be the issue?

On battery mode you need to press and hold till you hear double beeb , then release your hand and press and hold again till you hear another beep then you finally release your hand.
Thus ion battery mode
But on AC mode you only need to press and hold release your hands after double beep once
