The z32 was built by nissan when it was 100% Japanese and quality was not compromised. 350z was built by Renault controlled nissan with a cost cutting chairman. 350z looks awful inside out and it never had the impact the z32 had.
I have owned everything from a 240z to the 370z. I loved them all for different reasons. I do miss my 300zx. I had P7s on it and it was my last true drivers Nissan. No nannies. Pure drivers car. But I do love my 370z sport touring. Once I put on the Michelin super sports it became much more fun to drive. But I will always love the 240z and the 300zx
depends which model and make of 300zx and 350z. my '07 350z is near bone stock, with exception of intakes, and has devoured 300zx's and all manner of other "straight line" vehicles.

Yeah if you did an n/a 300zx vs 350z of course but a good running 300zx TT stock verse good running 350z stock 300zx will win. And the 300zx is so much easier to make faster. Anyway I have a modified 300 and even with coilovers it was a bit of a fat old girl in the corners, after some adjustment it danced through the bends but I 'reckon' stock vs stock it would have the straights but lose in the corners. Also the stock brakes don't last long on track.
I love the Z32. It was so far ahead of its time and while it will give a Z33 or Z34 a run for it's money, stock vs. stock the 350 and 370 are faster. This 300 is quire clearly heavily modified. Look at that exhaust.

Tu as quel age? Sur circuit on te prête rien la c'est des sessions pour particuliers possédants une voiture. Tu payes ta journée ou demi journée, ensuite les assurances RC, intempérie etc et voila à cela tu ajoutes le carburants et l'usure. Les sessions ou tu payes pour 2 3 tours en Porsche ou Ferrari c'est pas du tout ça, c'est autre chose et tu payes bcp pour "rien".

The 350Z is focused on cornering so he can run shit lines and still be faster than the ZX, the ZX has more of a focus on power because it was made in an era when American muscle cars were beginning to chug out torquey v8's and GM was losing it's shit and going all out against Ford. The Z28 was known to massacre the likes porsche, audi, BMW, and merc with far less hp for well over a decade at this time and the japanese sought the streetcar sandow by putting out 2 cars. The Surpa mk4, and the 300zxTT. These were built to be absolutely SURE they could beat whatever came out of detroit and they worked out pretty well. Later on the japanese found themselves losing to GM's ls1 and lt1 powered cars all over again. It got worse when nissan introduced its 350Z, which was focused on cornering and balance ( a true japanese car I might add!!) but met it's superior with GM bringing the Holden Monaro to the states. So the 350Z and 300ZX were created in two diferrent eras. The 300ZX having a emphasis more on power and the 350Z more on cornering and balance. So when you pit these two against one another and not a c5 z06 you run into the realization that nissan went to its roots with the 350/370Z cars and stopped trying to compete with GM and later fords big power cars. The C5, GTO, G8, TransAM WS6, Z28 were all GM's battle pieces and ford had the mustang and the Ford GT. The issue with ford was that their international cars were far more competitive and ford didn't let the Thunderbird do what it was INTENDED to do, which is compete with the Corvette. But that's another story.
Stock on stock straight line or handleing if the guy can drive the 350z beats the 300zx and the 370z beats the 350z. You can't compare the two cars off a video with two modified cars and a guy that can't hold a line to save his life.
if that 300zx is truly not stock, than the driver absolutely sucks. the 300s were quicker than the 350s out of the factory yet you seem to be able to keep up no problem.

True it's not ugly, but compared to the 350z and 370z aesthetically it isn't even a question of the looks being sub-par. In my opinion, I'd rather have looks and decent speed, rather than some looks, and more speed depending on mods.

The 350 is a heavy de tuned high fire wall bad gas milage ugly cheap interior with one year of nice wheels and marketed for rich chick's, when the g 35 came out it split the 300zx in two and moved the upmarket boys to them if you couldn't afford a BMW z4 or s2000 or sti all with less power or less weight or the same then then 370 came out great stock car but the motor just can't handle mods like a 90s car that was out in 89. Oh and by the way the new 911 has 4 wheel steering like the z and it had ev valve control before Honda and has a different bov system that returns air to the exhaust to maintain flow and pressure t tops and leather seats better then a viperq. my 429 thousand km still had air con and everything worked even the adjustable shocks. Soon I will buy my 3rd the z32 is by far one of the best ever still holds land speed record 6 place at the salt flats.
My 350 Zed is gorgeous.. it's an HR, has covered 19,000 miles, later zed's had the upgraded interior, carried out some great n/a mods - it's fast and feels great to drive. :P

I've beaten multiple evos and sti from dig and roll. the Z is a FAST car driven correctly. look at pugz nismo knights in instagram... naturally aspirated fastest HR in southern cal. I'm not talking bullshit, just my experience
