For instance....how in GOD'S name they will price a FORD MUSTANG GTD @a whopping $350,000 price tag.

@@Kevin-rg8nw it’s all engineering. Ford said they were going to build a car to win the 2016 La mans. And do it with a completely new car from the ground up. They decided to build it and did exactly what they said they would do. That’s very impressive if you ask me. More isn’t always better. They did it against competition that has been in development for decades.

This is not a Ford engineered or Ford built car. It is the creation of Multimatic, a Canadian automotive engineering firm who has been contracted to design/build the GT. Ford then slaps its badge on the car and takes the credit.
By comparison, the C8 Corvette is 100% engineered, designed, and built - by GM employees.
Kudos to Canada for creating the GT. But it's a Ford only by $$ and a badge.

I will say this again: Ford does not design, build, or engineer the current Ford GT. They contracted Canadian company Multimatic to do this. Ford has some parts and their badge on it.
By comparison, the C8 Corvette is entirely designed, engineered, and BUILT (assembled) by GM employees at a GM plant.
If you wish to deny this reality, go ahead. That doesn't make this less true.

GM built a 5.5 ltr flat plane crank which isn't normal . Usually they are 4.5 ltrs in EU . ( Italy 🇮🇹 )
Now they GM have come out with the Twin Turbo 4 the Corvette just makes the GT40 power train look incredibly pedestrian.

The car ceased production in Dec 22' and was built to a total of 1350 cars, with every car being sold long before the end of the programme. It is an advanced Tech boutique test bed. This very expensive, limited run model serves a few important goals.
(1) Halo profuct.
(2) Proof of Concept(S).
(3) Limited build, reduced tooling costs (vs full blown production), exclusively allowes for more break even program cost. NOT FULL CUSTOM, NOT OFF THE RACK.

Whatever happened to the 7 L Godzilla ford GT they were testing. I would take a ZO6 or ZR-1 C8 Vett over this any day and I’m a Ford guy. Three of the biggest disappointments as a Ford fan Yeah, I have experienced in my lifetime was when they came out with the generation two raptor with an eco-boost V6, then they put the eco-boost V6 in the Ford GT and when they did not offer a stick shift version of the Shelby GT500, nothing against the dual clutch transmission they have in it. I just think it robs the fun of owning one of those cars.. I was really happy when they came out with the raptor R, I was further excited when I saw they were testing a 7 L v8 ford GT but now I hear it’s back to that pos v6 again. I’m not impressed. The car looks sexy but the traditionalist in me urns for that V8. Or maybe even bring back the experimental V10 they had in the Cobra reboot.

I am so sorry FORD...But you can by a 4 door family sedan that will out perform you. For example a Tesla Plaid or a Licid Sarfire or even a more traditional Mc Laren 720s or even the older 675LT...so i'm realy not sure what you mean by destroying the competition😮 The FORD GT is however a very nice, sleek sports car that "is very fast and fun to drive" out of the show room floor.
