the RMs with black fork gaiters are RM250C 1978 NOT RM250C2 1978.5 plastic tank and alloy swingarm,. the other RM250s are 1977 B,,, short forks . hope this helps
@@PeriscopeFilm sure..1977 RM Suzuki had metal tank and steel swing arms. In 1978 they had plastic tanks and aluminum swingarms. I raced many of these as back then. In 1981 Suzuki and most other mfg went to single shock rear suspension (Full Floater for Suzuki) and in 1982 most mfgs went to water cooling with radiators. Husqvarna went that route in 1984. Kaplan cycles channel has a lot of info a museum with hundreds of rare bikes restored and collected. Suzuki was first to compete and win international MX events with Roger DeCoster in early 70s. Husqvarna of Swede had dominated until mid 1970s Japan bikes took over. Only KTM of Austria is competitive today who own Husqvarna and Gas Gas bikes. Before 1980s there were many European bikes such as Bultaco Montessa,Ossa ,CZ ,Maico . All gone now. I love your channel thank you!

1977 RMs there. Metal tanks and swing arms in 1977 last year until aluminum and plastic.
