i bought Far cry 4 last month and I had the same problem. I reached out to the Ubisoft support but the service is very poor and slow. They take forever to solve to answer the questions and the issue is still not solved. Now I cannot even get a refund from steam as its more than one month now.

I created a ticket to Ubisoft. they didn't responded to it for about two days, I was about to get a refund from steam, however I did not qualify and even I do qualify, I would be able to get it due to I purchased it during an offer and it was over, so what I did was starting a live chat conversation with an agent on Ubisoft main website who was very helpful, asked me for proof of purchase screenshot and restored mi account. Got it resolved in minutes via live chat!

If your guy’s issue was like mine then the game is saved to a Ubisoft account that you don’t care about and want the game on your account with all of your progression, then you are free to try support but that didn’t work for me. What I had to do is make a different steam account for rainbowsix specifically and I uninstalled the game from my main steam account and bought it on the new account. I made sure that I logged into the right account with all of the progression on the new steam account and I got all of my stuff back. If it goes wrong then steam always has the refund policy if you have less than 2 hours played and purchased less than 14 days ago. It’s not ideal but that’s how I got my stuff back.

yea soo, same deal the relinking dosent work. Its the initial activation that matters. If the account is not the account that the game was acctivated on firstly, then it wont work. hopefully that makes sense. try reaching out to ubi, they might be better now
