I have a new model - only five years old. the temperature stops at 150 exactly but the top works. I guess I will try the sensor first. the igniator may be next. your thoughts?
@@alyoungcuda hi Al, replaced temperature sensor and oven still didnt work. will do ignitor. are there top and bottom ignitors? some have one bracket for two screws and some have two brackets for two screws to attach to the oven. i want the one that sits on the bottom of the oven dont I? Is there a different one that sits in the broiler section under the oven? How do i pick the right part? thanks so much for ur help.
Hi Al.. Did your Broil cycle still work?? My broil top burner works which tells me the censor is ok...Mine is the same oven and just the bake burner will not work and flashes on 150.. I did replace the igniter.. Thanks to you!! And thanks ahead of time!!

I changed the sensor but still getting the E-08 fault. I checked the sensor with Ohm meter and it’s 1074, which i think it’s good. What should i do know ? :(
Top of the stove doesn't use the screen part to work but the oven does since it needs to know the settings..once the screen is shot its very expensive to replace that part, you're better off with a new oven, did you do the obvious 1st and unplug it to see if it resets?
@@walterdavis8085 that would be a guess, there is more troubleshooting needed that is above my knowledge there. I would try to find a wiring diagram for the model and see if there is a fuse connected in there.

You can take the bottom cover off and watch the Igniter..if it keeps cutting on and off then its the Igniter

Yes the broiler works fine..the Igniter did the trick...
Mine has exact same problem and yes the broiler only works. When I turn on the oven there’s no gas coming on and no ignition, nothing.

Top of the stove doesn't use the screen part to work but the oven does since it needs to know the settings..once the screen is shot its very expensive to replace that part, you're better off with a new oven, did you do the obvious 1st and unplug it to see if it resets?

how do i get the diagnostic code to appear?
They appear when it detects a problem, just like a car with a check engine light.
