  • In this video myself, Mike and Gareth visited Wasdale to attempt the mighty Scafell Pike the highest mountain in England and one of the National 3 Peaks, standing at 978m above sea level.
We started our walk at the National Trust car park in Wasdale
The Hike was tough but spectacular it pushed us to our limits and beyond
The sun was shining and the views were spectacular with visibility being excellent. Views towards Derwent Water with Skiddaw and Blencathra in the far distance.
Beautiful waterfalls cascaded down lingmell beck and the sound was mesmirising.
Highly recommend this walk, probably my favourite route up Scafell Pike.
If you enjoyed this video please give it a like and if you want to see more give the channel a subscribe, plenty of walks planned for the rest of this year and beyond.

@@LPOutdoorsukcheers ! I have never been before so not sure of the rout yet, I done Snowdon with mi lad a couple months back so it’s gonna be Scafell next week then Ben Nevis in month. The rout you guys took though looks quality 🤩👍🏻

Start off in the National Trust car park at Wasdale and the route starts at the back of there car park was bout 9 quid all day to park. The drive into Wasdale is amazing as you come past wastwater. I did Ben Nevis bout 10 years ago that is a brilliant walk up, didn't see anything from the top as it was clagged in.

Great video guys made me laugh 😂
Just wondering was there any mobile signal at the carpark or on route ?

Thank you for watching the video, we laughed the whole way when we did this walk. If I remember right we did have a signal, if Gaz didn't moan about it there prob was signal haha. It was a great walk definitely toughest of the big 3 in the UK. Views were best I've seen on a clear day.

This is next on my list. Done snowdon in February completed ben nevis Wednesday 10th may and scafell on 1st july. Can't wait that'll be the 3 peaks done. Nevis was brutal though. Well done great video

Thank you for watching mate. Are you doing the same route as we did or the corridor route? It's a tough mountain scafell pike the terrain is harsh but well worth the challenge. Hopefully get some great views off the top.

    Hi there
Did you encounter any scrambling via the wasdale route?
Also would you recommend trekking poles even if you’re relatively fit?
    Thanks

    • @LPOutdoorsuk
      @LPOutdoorsuk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hi no scrambling involved just steep sections. Trekking poles I didn't use them but would take them so there an option. When are you planning on doing Scafell pike?
