Man I love these videos guy I watch every week from Maine, USA and the new intro is gold. I have always loved Australia and would love to come see it someday
Me too. I'm from Maine but I live in Utah now. Come here if you can. It's only a nice 4 day drive and there's almost never any bugs. For us, it's as close to driving on another planet as you can get without a visa and 30 hours of travel.
Not first.. don't care about where my comment lands because I'm not a child, demanding attention. What I am is entertained watching these amazing videos you guys post, whilst laying in hospital after rolling my 4x4 at 100km/h 3 times into a tree.
Jeez mate haha you just said that you weren’t asking for attention and there you go and say your lying in hospital, if that’s not asking for attention I dunno what is
Liam S I don’t know about that one. I know that the European versions are some what beefed up with gussets due to roads being lower quality but the rigs they have on the “tracks” have after market parts. I would put the XJ in my thumbnail or a Wrangler Rubbicon up against those rigs. I am not saying one is way better than another but want to see what they are capable of side by side.
Danny Mitchell well these 4wd’s are designed for Australian conditions. Hot & dry, I have a feeling a European manufactured Jeep wouldn’t be too reliable (built for cold). They’re very capable off road vehicles though
+Jake Ballard, crazy you say that mate. It's true though. Considering ARB is proudly Australian you would think we would be paying the cheaper price. Funny how companies and economies work.
Harry Singleton but at the same time, Australians can go to the Toyota dealership and buy a truck with steel bumpers. We can't even get the diesel engine we've been begging for since the 80's.
@@drumhed yeh but for $70,000 with just the cab and chassis it you throw a tray on another 5000 bar work 4 to 5 for a decent one ain't cheap we get ripped off big time over here diesels $1.53 a litre
Shauno, Seeing the inside of the winch after so much punishment is just impressive. I have one myself and swear by it. Its recovered more vehicles helping others than for myself. Very Reassuring heading out bush with my family having the Domin8tor 12,000 on the front.
great video guys, thanks you have just made me feel so much better about buying my black series camper after watching this, not that I had any doubts about it capability.
As an european I was really surprised to see that Renault Capture at the end of the video ! As always, another AWESOME episode ! I've always wanted to see that camera crew rig evolve on a rough terrain like that and you just made it happen ! Thank you 4WD Action !
The content keeps getting better and better. Top notch intro too! Its so good, that in fact I have no problem viewing the ads too. It helps you guys put out more content!
I really do appreciate your videos and being able to show me a part of the world that I'm not able to see personally. I am curious about what kind of 2 way radios you all are using?
YES your back!! Graham and Shauno really do well in front of the camera and crew do the same behind the camera bringing awesome content to us! Thanks guys. 👍
If you lose traction on those open diff. Try to step on the brakes half to distribute the power. Ive been doing that on my isuzu bighorn since it has an open diff.
I have fallen in love with your videos! I have a 2013 jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited that yearns to do what you blokes do every day. Sadly, I have to wait until the extended warranty runs out before adding a nice 2-inch lift, 35's and a winch, but I yearn for the day!
Just a heads up. When you drop a rock with an average weight of 1 pound each second is 5 feet. So that mine shaft was 15 feet. I think it's safe to say that drop would hurt
campground at 36mins is the back end of meringtons near donellys creek track by the looks of it... that mine you dropped a rock down is capped. its over 1km deep by memory
Well where do I start the relief I felt when I got the notification I love the cooking I love grahams photo tips, all I want is vehicle variety the guest or "local" is a valuable spot doesn't matter if the person is a old chunk of coal as long as they have a ranger or hilux or iveco or Frankenstien shed monster, anyway love your work aussie top gear mate
Strange thing at 53:31. Anyone notice the right trailer tire briefly lock as he is struggling up the hill with it? The trailer has its own handbrake I think, from an earlier episode. Really handy feature I've never seen here in the states. But either it was still on all the way up the hill, or a rock or something briefly stops the wheel.
Interesting filming at when Graham apparently snatches Nic up. Doesn't actually show Graham towing the Patrol or with a snatch behind the D-max at all...
Rocket the king!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: What a bloody stitch up! You tease us with that intro and then it's a totally different cast. Old monotone nickos put me to sleep!
My 4 year old, often a bit of a fussy eater, helped me cook fish cakes (minus the chili). He gladly ate them because it was Shauno's recipe. You've got a celebrity chef career while the dirty30 is in repair.
Jamison is a great place I go there every easter we stay at knockwood I have road to woodspoint German spu moodlight I have been every where it is awesome
bloody love you guys hit me up if your camera crew is short always there mate. Shauno you are an inspiration mate and you got me into rigs just like yours. hope to see all your videos in the future.
I know this is an older one but you guys should double check fella's safety standards the winching of shaun in the 80 series at 10mins the winch crew completely missed the winch hook with the damper blanket could have ended up badly...
You guys should bring a stock 4x4-- like a Cherokee, or a Tacoma along on these trips-- to show the difference between rigs that are built and ready, and those that are just stockers--- to show how capable some stock vehicles really are--- because I am sure if a buddy wanted to come with you guys, you could make it work.
No, you drive other pieces of shit, and think that your shit is better than other peoples shit, and then talk about how proud you are of the shit you got. Hahaha!
I have noticed you fellas have a tendacy to use the motor to power the winch in as well as out..... is there a reason you guys don’t use the lever to disengage the gears from the winch and freewheel it? I don’t own a winch...... yet. Thanks!
Hi Guys, Great vids and you guys are all fantastic but you should review the advice you are giving about where to locate the winch rope dampening "device" (originally a blanket or similar).... it needs to catch the "projectile" before coming through your windscreen. Cheers... Keep the vids coming!!!
i went to there about a month ago we were in our club and that camp spot we thought was to small so we split up and did different tracks and two of our drivers had to go up that rock step ill tell u what it is so steep and the rock steps are like more than 1 meter big if u what a challege go and give the first track a try
That trailer would be truly bad ass if it had small electric motors driving its tires when you really needed the extra push, up hills, thru mud pits and what not.
I really like how the sponsors are listed now and maybe this will continue to be free but if not i would pay for the dvd's. I have seen ton's of good things on the X-BULL off road accessories, so could real 4x4 people like 4WD action test them?
Man I love these videos guy I watch every week from Maine, USA and the new intro is gold. I have always loved Australia and would love to come see it someday

i need to move to australia and find a job like that !!!!
Australians want that job🤣
Not first.. don't care about where my comment lands because I'm not a child, demanding attention. What I am is entertained watching these amazing videos you guys post, whilst laying in hospital after rolling my 4x4 at 100km/h 3 times into a tree.
Jeez mate haha you just said that you weren’t asking for attention and there you go and say your lying in hospital, if that’s not asking for attention I dunno what is
Nicks A subba I was attempting to be ironic. I'm also bored. But thanks all the same cob
Ohhh gotcha, yeh bit hard to tell what people are saying in writing because there’s no tone of voice or anything
What 4wd did you roll?
Ned Kelly who are you talking to?
i swear, if i watch one more of these hour long videos ill have an aussie accent
silentfox8 best accent in the world mate
Too bloody right cobber.
Uppa mate join us haha
What accent? Aussies don't have accents, everyone else does 😂
You fuckin love it
Could you fine gentlemen add date stamps? Just out of curiosity. Helps us follow you guys and your adventures.
February 2017
Thanks for the response :)
@@4WD247 ha
Great to see you guys again.
Following you all the way from South-Africa !!!
Just a awesome group, 4WD ACTION !!!
Love this show! Hands down best 4WD show out there. Gets me pumped to 4wd and fix issues on my First Gen Tacoma and OM617 90 4runner
I love seeing you guys with the budget rigs that a typical person would take out and modify.
Edit: Fish Cakes should be an official drunken feast.
So tru bro
I would like to see a Jeep out there on the trail with them.
Danny Mitchell wouldn’t last long at all or go very far
Liam S I don’t know about that one. I know that the European versions are some what beefed up with gussets due to roads being lower quality but the rigs they have on the “tracks” have after market parts. 39:57. Well said. “In a world in which we are bubble wrapped”. Makes getting out there a true emancipation! Cheers from Toronto, Canada Gents.
Whats the 4 wheel driving situation like in Canada, you guys have some absolutely breath taking scenery over there.
4wd supacentre need to work out how to make decent quality bullbars for a reasonable price. ARB are great, but 3k for a bar is ridiculous these days.
The ARB summit bar is $1500 USD for a Tacoma. Are they really $3K in AU?
+Jake Ballard, crazy you say that mate. It's true though. Considering ARB is proudly Australian you would think we would be paying the cheaper price. Funny how companies and economies work.
Harry Singleton but at the same time, Australians can go to the Toyota dealership and buy a truck with steel bumpers. We can't even get the diesel engine we've been begging for since the 80's.
Anthony Gatley I said that the other day to a mate.. Ridiculous prices from others... Come on 4wd super centre...
@@drumhed yeh but for $70,000 with just the cab and chassis it you throw a tray on another 5000 bar work 4 to 5 for a decent one ain't cheap we get ripped off big time over here diesels $1.53 a litre
Cant wait to see the cape york trip keep it up boys, just bought my first 4wd 1999 hilux and these videos just make me eger to get out
More drone footage lads of whole lines you do, from a good angle that shows scale of climbs you guys do
I can't wait for when 4wdsupacentre will do international shipping.
Shauno, Seeing the inside of the winch after so much punishment is just impressive. I have one myself and swear by it. Its recovered more vehicles helping others than for myself. Very Reassuring heading out bush with my family having the Domin8tor 12,000 on the front.
So much work went into filming this. Thanks so much for all the effort.
I cant watch these videos without being tempted to knock the top off a cold one ! Another beauty fellas, keep them coming!!
Come past and pick me up boys
I miss Aussie, parents moved us to America 10 years ago but theres nothing like going to the stix 4 wheeling with your mates
I did the maths. The holes 44m deep (around about)
It's good to finally see that 80 in action
great video guys, thanks you have just made me feel so much better about buying my black series camper after watching this, not that I had any doubts about it capability.

I have wanted to see a vid like this for a long time...Testing a budget 4x4!
9:35 good luck finding a rust free 1hz 80 for under 20k these days
"Gold mining and Australia go hand in hand. Like vegemite and toast". That's why Graham gets paid the big bucks. Keep up the great work guys
YES your back!! Graham and Shauno really do well in front of the camera and crew do the same behind the camera bringing awesome content to us! Thanks guys. 👍
Yessss. Gotta love the Vic High Country episodes! Keep it up 4wd Action!
Does Nick's facial expression EVER change?
Nick... yawn.
Was going to say he actually looks the happiest I’ve seen him on this video.
If you lose traction on those open diff. Try to step on the brakes half to distribute the power. Ive been doing that on my isuzu bighorn since it has an open diff.
You fellas ought to come down to the otways rainforests in southwestern victoria. if you do go to colac, ask for the provans.
Another amazing video!!! Thanks guys from USA!! Much respect!!
The girth hitch as we call it in the states is not my first choice, but that trick with the gloves is a good one
I have fallen in love with your videos!

Paul Melbourne I wonder how a Jeep would do in this?? I’m sure it would do awesome with only long term reliability in question.
Just a heads up. When you drop a rock with an average weight of 1 pound each second is 5 feet. So that mine shaft was 15 feet. I think it's safe to say that drop would hurt
about to sit back have some lunch and watch the awesomeness unfold that is 4WD Action
MADMANMAGIC 23
I do the same thing man! On lunch hour, have some food and watch these guys go at it, tops!....then back to work😭
Love the new Intro
That camera Landcruiser here in Canada will set you back 15 grand any day of the week. Australia gets some of the best 4x4's IMO.
campground at 36mins is the back end of meringtons near donellys creek track
by the looks of it... that mine you dropped a rock down is capped. its over 1km deep by memory
You guys are unbelievable. Thank you for coming to my state and showing it off. unbelievable adventure 'again'.
Oh how times have changed... "1Hz, lucky to cost you 10k" I f'in wish
On the right side when you come into walhalla where the public toilets are, the block of land next to it, my family owns that. :D
Liar my family own it
Lovin the new intro boys looks a million bucks. And a great episode to back it up. Well done.
Thank you for coming back ... Miss u since last episode.
Yes boys, i asked for a camera car video and you’s delivered. Onto it boys👌🏼
Another top episode guys!! in my backyard got this one on DVD but am happy to watch it again
Landcruiser 💪💪💪💪!

Hell yeah landcruiser rules
I am getting addicted to these videos ...keep up the good work guys ..
You guys should always film the 80 series!!! it is awsome and one more car to compare with the others...

Gheddo yep, I’m calling BS on this too 👍
hey mate im a filipino and i love ur show!!keep it up
Just scored a mint showroom condition 80 series and was worries there were no diff locks other than centre , now im not even worried . Cheers !!
Another great show, I reckon Shaun needs to do some additional 4x4 training as he let the 80 series down a bit.
Rocket the king!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: What a bloody stitch up! You tease us with that intro and then it's a totally different cast. Old monotone nickos put me to sleep!
Lol ‘monotone’ Nick 😂👍
Nick does need to quieten his enthusiasm a bit, too much excitement is never enough for Nick it seems.
That bloke Nick was a bit of a downer, need to lift the energy a bit!
Thank you for these videos !!!!
Edit, a 3 second free fall on earth is about 40-45m.
And it usually ends with. SPLAT
9.8m per second so closer to 30m
carbonfiber492 per second squared. First second is 9.8 m second 2 is 19.6meters traveled in that second because you are accelerating at 9.8 m/s
2:43 looked up as if to say cut it there I'm not drinking this gully water.

Cheers for another 4WD Friday
Who clicks thumbs down on the videos!? Seriously they are amazing, and you know what to expect for the most part. 4wd! And goofing off. Thanks guys!
4:07 - Shauno delivered that piece to camera so well 😅
Am I the only one that is watching this one for the 2nd time?? Maybe 3rd 😆
wonder how many kms the budget 80 would have? and petrol/diesel?
Anyone strangely love Alan's voiceover? Its like the captain coming over the airplane speaker system
Don't even need a 4x4 to get to toombon mine, And that mine has been capped off. Great spot

Omg your back! We missed you
7 days is too long.
Grant Pantling same here
no it it's YOU'RE back - and here are migrants sitting for English test!
No it's "No it's you're back" :P
OMFG, @Swami... watch a 4wd video and pick on grammar !!!, how about you get a life ... (yes, I'm a migrant too)
bloody love you guys hit me up if your camera crew is short always there mate. Shauno you are an inspiration mate and you got me into rigs just like yours. hope to see all your videos in the future.
Like the new setup on the ISUZU, been waiting for this next video
I know this is an older one but you guys should double check fella's safety standards the winching of shaun in the 80 series at 10mins the winch crew completely missed the winch hook with the damper blanket could have ended up badly...
32:00, some interesting drawings on the truck
No matter where you go some shit never changes!!!🤣🤣🤣
Good old Victorian high country. woods point and wahalla both awesome places
I wish we could get 80 series over here in the usa for the price of the camera car. Everything as at least 10k usd and had a oem automatic
4WD supacentre stuff is the only gear i can afford. lol. Great job guys for bringing affordable gear
Careful what you wish 4 buddy 🤣
You guys should bring a stock 4x4-- like a Cherokee, or a Tacoma along on these trips-- to show the difference between rigs that are built and ready, and those that are just stockers--- to show how capable some stock vehicles really are--- because I am sure if a buddy wanted to come with you guys, you could make it work.
Furness Prime in Australia we don't have Tacomas, what we have instead are the hiluxs
We dont drive those pieces of shit in australia hahah
No, you drive other pieces of shit, and think that your shit is better than other peoples shit, and then talk about how proud you are of the shit you got. Hahaha!
Tacoma even if it was available here, is a little on the large size for Victorian High Country.
I have noticed you fellas have a tendacy to use the motor to power the winch in as well as out..... is there a reason you guys don’t use the lever to disengage the gears from the winch and freewheel it? I don’t own a winch...... yet. Thanks!

Upvote for the Angels at the end ;)
Yes boiiis, ive been waiting 2 weeks for this. Woo
Missed last weeks vid...Good to see ya back!!!
THESE TWO WEEKS FELT LIKE THEY WOULD NEVER END!!! haha been counting mins can't wait too press play!!! i've allready liked it

Why don't you put the winch in free spool to pull rope out when setting up for recoveries?
Shaunos concentration face 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
, A le !
I LOVE Fridays ! Another excellent video. Thanks for uploading.
Finally! I needed my fix over here in the states.

Really wanna pick up a 80 for my first 4wd. Just looks soo good offroad.
