Go Mia 4wding in the big RAM. Fantastic role modelling Justin. I have daughters a similar age to Mia and you have inspired me to get them 4wding behind the wheel of my Jeep Gladiator.
Video production has greatly improved 👏👏 especially on the drone shots
You literally drove past my front door on the hume hwy on your way down. Im just over an hour from any gate way to the VHC and it still takes my breath away every time I get up there. Glade you guys come down. Wish I could join yas buy a fire in my stomping ground
I ran in to you boys at the servo in Narrandera on your way down. I had so many questions and stories to tell but didn’t want to be that crazy fan. I knew you were in for an awesome time when you said you we’re heading for the high county.

🎊🎊🎊🎊⛺🛻 welcome back guys
Wow high country is on list ❤❤
love to see it i myself been looking to get into 4wd more and im born and bred in Mansfield and the surrounding Bush love it up here need to get out and explore some more
Love it
Love the video we need to see more of the FJ
Great job Justin & crew.
You did a few illegal things while driving, as mentioned. We in Victoria have strict rules on many things. Mansfield is my local haunt and where I live. The tracks you drove are just a few of many, in this vast 4wd paradise. Great job Mia driving, what a place to learn. My daughter started driving in the bush around there, when she was 12. She can now competently 4wd at 14. I couldn't give a crap about Victoria's nanny laws. Teaching a kid the basics of 4wding in a safe "in my opinion" area, is beneficial, not detrimental. I do have the benefit of totally off peak times out there though. Keep up the great vids.
Since I can't go and visit with me being in the states. Finally back to the camping! Don't get me wrong, also live the racing, but the camping is the best!
Where's the Black Truck??? The Ram is definitely more comfortable but the Black truck is legendary!!!! Again, happy you guys are back!!!!
Guys always enjoy a video in my Backyard the VHC, but correct me if I'm wrong Learners are not permitted to tow trailers in Victoria, maybe need to be careful.
You follow the road rules of your licence when it comes to licence restrictions. In qld we have no speed or town restrictions on our L or Ps but you have to follow time restrictions as in can't have passengers unless it's family after 11 to 5
Yeah, feels like the good old PG-days with "The Voice" back in the game....awesome
Love how the car with the air box that dose not seal gets jammed at the back
Videos like this i normaly try and follow tracks on google earth to see where people go.
When you left Mansfield what tracks did you take, i know the main track this video was showing Kings Basin track to Kings Hut then onto Circuit rd and then clear hills track to Craig's Hut, then i got lost....
Awesome to see a home grown tour and not a sight n sound off racing.
Well done Mia on your first 4B4 track....im feeling a baby blue Bronco in the future..hey Dad?..lol
Looks like they took Clear Hills up to Stirling, back down to Circuit rd via Howqua Gap and went over to Bluff Hut via Bindaree and Bluff Link Rd or Sixteen Mile Jeep track
Awesome vid! Love the vhc! One thing, the 5.0 in the vhc are the harshest of harsh and Learner drivers cant tow trailers in Victoria(illegal) Just a heads up incase you didnt know. I reckon its the best to teach the kids how to tow but the cops and government dont agree. Cheers
@graemecooper4100 the law doesn't work like that, unfortunately. ."Learner driver restrictions You must: carry your interstate learner permit card at all times when driving. display L plates on the front and rear of the vehicle which are clearly visible from a distance of 20 metres. not drive a vehicle (other than a tractor) that is towing a trailer".22 Jan 2024
@graemecooper4100 as you wish but not correct. Look up the road law. Vicroads website or road safety act are quite clear. Best of luck. I don't agree with those laws btw, I fully support kids learning to tow trailers safely.
@graemecooper4100
Conditions applied to your interstate learner permit
When driving in Victoria you must also comply with any conditions applied to your learner permit by your home licensing authority.
Learner driver restrictions
In addition to the Victorian road rules, interstate car learner drivers must comply with the following restrictions. You must:
carry your interstate learner permit card at all times when driving
display L plates on the front and rear of the vehicle which are clearly visible from a distance of 20 metres
not drive a vehicle (other than a tractor) that is towing a trailer
have a zero Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) at all times when driving. It is also illegal to drive under the influence of drugs
not drive a motor vehicle unless an experienced (supervising) driver is sitting beside you at all times when driving
not use a mobile phone, including hands free, hand held and any messaging while driving.
@@graemecooper4100 You are incorrect about the towing. Vic learner towing rules applies to anyone with an Australian learner licence. The speed restrictions you refer to are state based because the NSW special speed limits are specific to NSW learner / P plate licences only
Well done Mia you done so well 😃
Hi Justin and Patriot crew, great video in The High Country. Mia did a great job driving the Ram and so great in the High Country. If you and the crew are coming to Cape York this year let me know, I'd be keen to show you around the cattle station I live on in the Atherton Tablelands.
Hell yeah that would be awesome! Send me a DM and let’s t something up 👍
I left the high country thismorning, hoping you will be going through the wonangatta valley in this series
Hope you guys make it up Mt Pinnibar. The highest 4wd track in Australia.
I like how dad has the L plates on when he was driving 😅😅😅
Welcome to our Backyard
Would love to join you Boys in the fun... :)
Hi David, the smaller cutting head helps I think. Maybe I’ll modify the Fiskars maul by cutting the head smaller ??
Great video, but did you check if learner's can tow in Victoria? 😯
Not too bright Queenslanders
Yes you can tow on your Ls in Victoria
@@william6815 No you can't, from Vicroads website "Not tow a trailer, caravan or another vehicle."
@@william6815 Victorian Road Safety (Drivers) Regs r.47 (1) says 'no'.
What suspension ya running in the MUX ?? Just out of curiosity
If possible , could you tell me what song was used on the 19.44 minute mark?
A track you shouldn't take a trailer down is like a red flag to a bull aka the track being the red flag and Justin being the bull he is going to do it
Justin to let you know that anyone on their learners permit isn’t allowed to tow anything Australia wide
Took 3sec of googling to find out that statement was incorrect
Is it not illegal to carry (and especially use) a chainsaw in a National Park? Or is the high country not actually in a National Park (state forest?)?
Not illegal in the alpine national park. Infact recommended.
The shame about the VIC high country is that Eucalypt forest has taken over. It makes it fire vulnerable. If they re planted the Gondwana rain forests that were originally there (before the fire happy locals lived there for a few thousand years), it would rebuild the topsoil and become fire resistant.
Stay off the meth pipe before posting
What happens if you win the drawing and live in the US?
Too bad RAM is not available in Indonesia 😢🥺
Also illegal to hold ANY heldheld device even UHF, just so other out there know and don’t get into trouble,
Took 3sec of googling to find out that statement was incorrect
Looks like there is a few snorkels missing, who researched this before you went?
Where’s the 49 and gu?
How come the ram has NSW plates?
Cause it was registered in NSW and not QLD...
Illegal to tow a trailer on L Plates in Victoria, l know in QLD they can
Because it’s a qld license and car you follow your qld rules
@@beartiger1553 Incorrect. Vics towing restriction applies to all Australian learner licences. If QLD said a learners blood alcohol limit was 0.150 could QLD drivers drive around in Vic high range?
@@jasonhenderson8604 what ever
@@beartiger1553 Sorry to upset you. I didn't want your misinformation influencing interstate drivers.
@@jasonhenderson8604 my info come from vic roads as my daughter was towing in vic on her qld learners license 4 months ago
So much product placement! Its lie you are wearing a uniform to sit it the car all day!
👋🤙✌️👍😎🇺🇦
