Great value for a great build. I just replaced the cpu cooler with the freezer 16 by arctic and threw in their p12 max, and cranked up the fan speed up which is loud but sucks out the hot air like nothing. For only 20 bucks since both were used parts.
Hey man I have had this pc for around a year now and have had a few issues with fps drop in games like Fortnite and call of duty. Can you suggest any solutions to this problem please
Thank you for providing such a great honest review. It helps a lot in deciding which product to purchase in current market where there are massive amount of selection. At the end, it boils down to what is your budget. 😊😎
funny to me that hp finally decided to make another gaming pc for budget games aside from the pavillion. cant say it looks much better but i suppose its a small step up! Thanks for the review and God bless! :)
The price of my Victus was good. It is quick, quiet, and performs okay. It has some big drawbacks. For one, the CPU is locked. Two, there is only 1 NVME slot. Three, the USBc port on the front is slow, 5 gbs. The two USBA above it are 10gbs. I have seen all the videos about expanding this machine, and it seems like throwing money away. I should have bought the similar unit from Dell. The HP case and frame seem so tinny and cheap.

The victus 15l with the 13700k and 4060ti will be the same as the recommended Cyberpowerpc wirh the 13700k and 4060TI right? Or is there a reason you recommend the Cyberpowerpc over the 15l?
How is the warranty on These rigs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I ask cause I recently had a bad experience with a Lenovo laptop and took almost five weeks to get a refund. I didn’t want a replacement.
Thank you so much. Very helpful. Question: I’m looking for a budget device. Around $600. Not a big gamer. Casual. And mostly for my 3 sons. Looking to run mods gta v etc. and eventually play new releases. What device should I look out for.
I have been looking for a very fast machine, but I am not a gamer. I don't care about alot of cores. Something with a turbo of 5.4 ghz or more. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi Justin, I love your content and recently subscribed to your channel. One thing do you mind me asking is that background hexagon wall custom-made or did you purchase it from somewhere. Thanks
What would you recommend to play GTA 5 and stream it? I can't build one for my life and would like the cheapest prebuilt gaming PC, I can get away with as cash is kind of tight right now.
Hey i am trying to get a pc but my budget is around 1000 Australian dollars or 700 USD, i dont really know much about pcs and I'm trying to play Fortnite on a good graphics and fps. Which pc do you recommend that would suit me the most.
Just got mine today. It’s my first PC so I’m really excited. And you just made me more excited. Never expected it to be the best, just better than this rinky-dink Xbox one 😂😂
And for example, the only games I have are Minecraft, GTA, and Fortnite. (I wanted to get Modern Warfare but it was too much of a file so I didn’t have space for it)
My 11 year old son wants one of these. Will he be able to just get and play games or does it require more money and upgrades or something crazy like that?
Looking to purchase for my son as I saw this was on sale for $489. My question is will this be good enough for my 8 and 9 year old son who play games like fortnite Roblox and other games off steam. I really like your review and I see your saying it’s def not worth 1,000 but do you think it’s worth it at the $489 price point for young gamers.
Hey @nikkelleschmidt5197 the version that's $489 has an Intel Arc Graphics card which is good enough for a game like Roblox but not for Fortnite. I recommend selecting the 4060 GPU and the 500watt Power Supply. This one will run Fortnite well and will be about $685 with current pricing
Hello Justin, I hope you see this and you'll be able to answer. I'll try to be short. I'm a photographer and I mainly use my computer for editing pictures and videos using lightroom classic and photoshop. I also use my computer to share those photos and videos to facebook and instagram. Do you think this computer will do the job for me? I'm terrible with tech and they gave me all these specs which is basically another language to me. I hope I've given you enough information to respond. Thank you in advance!
@coryschatz The one I reviewed is a little under par for high res image editing in lightroom. My wife is also a photographer so I know how slow a computer can get the more images you load in there simultaneously. This is the configuration I recommend for you geni.us/HP-Victus-15L If the price in the top left corner doesn't say $1374 then it reset the options. If it did select the options below Memory - select 32GB option (The more memory with Creative apps the better) Storage - 1 TB PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD (Unless you already have a fast hard drive you can skip this and install your current one in this PC and just get the smallest option they have) Graphics Card - NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 (8 GB GDDR6X dedicated) Chassis and Power Supply - Front Bezel Ceramic White Metal with 500 W 80 Plus Bronze cerfified power supply Hope this helps!
@@JustinTechTips thank you I appreciate that. My current computer is so old I can't even open Photoshop 🤦🏻♂️. I ended up pulling the trigger on it. Hopefully it will cut it for what I need. My current one just keeps crashing, freezing and just going very slow! I'm not a professional photographer so hopefully it works. 🤷🏻♂️🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻
I managed to get the 3050 variant of the 15L around $500 last year on Amazon. As soon as I bought it the price jumped back to more than $800 afterwards. I don't know if the price was mis listed or if they were just trying to get a few pcs off shelves
Actually on another note it was a HyperX bundle, so it came with a HyperX mouse and keyboard instead of the basic hp e-waste, I still use the keyboard as it's actually pretty decent and I just keep the mouse as a backup
I’m thinking about getting one but with a i7 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 and 16 gigs of ram rather than 8. I know it’s a decent built what what are people’s thoughts.
Yo I just bought about the hp 15L with the i513400f and a rtx3050, honestly it’s not that impressive you should at least get a 3060. it still does the job and I can play every game
Hey man new to this kinda stuff bought this tried to overclock removed 1x8g replaced 1x16g can't get ram speed past 2666 I am waiting on another stick in mail any idea. What to put in ryzen master to get most of of CPU and ram

right now is $429 with AMD Radeon RX 6400 Graphics (4 GB GDDR6 dedicated). how that compare with Nvidia cards?
Would the Victus be a good computer for someone who plans to play mostly puzzle games like Call of the Sea, Journey, Outer Wilds, and Soma? Graphics-wise, I'd be using it mostly with Photoshop.
The information in all your videos is top notch, however if I may offer a bit of criticism on vocal presentation: it sounds a bit too structured like you're giving a presentation in school or something. Vocal tone goes up while explaining something followed by vocal tone coming down at the end of the sentence or explanation. Tone up followed by tone down. This pattern continues for the whole video. I'm no vocal expert and I can't pinpoint what the fix would be other than to maybe sound more natural while going over the bullet points.
@chalacetheboymom4678 for something like that you'll be just fine with this HP Victus 15L in this review geni.us/Victus-by-HP-15L or I also recommend the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme geni.us/CyberPowerPC-i5-4060
im looking for a stream dedicated pc and was wondering is this good for that. I stream on twitch and youtube so now my old stream dedicated pc cant keep up
Justin please help! I’m deciding between Corsair vengeance i8200 with 14th gen 4090 vs the NZXT PLAYER:three prime with the same specs. I really love the cooler gif on the nzxt but the Corsair one looks so cool too. Overall Corsair is 500 dollars more expensive but I don’t care about the price at this point I just want something really good and smooth that lasts a long time! 😭
Hi Justin I am thinking of getting the cyber power gamer extreme 4060. Do you think I will be able to play games like Fortnite, rainbow six siege and valorant with a good fps? Also if you have time to answer what monitor would you recommend to go with that pc. Thanks and I am a new subscriber
So after learning about this PC I still would need to know how well it runs Fortnite as that is what I mostly will be using if you could get back to me with that info that would be very helpful thanks.

why i have it and my performance are ridiculous, this pc dont support fortnite beacause there are so many frame rates drops, the setting are at minimal. do you have any advice?
it has a expansion slot for a expansion card. Wowee a big one too. Finally, they are "sort of" generous with the psu. Oh, I will stop here. Thanks for the review.
anyone have any suggestions for a budget of like 500-600 bucks. Also not sure if it’s the same pc as this one but theres a similar looking pc on the hp website on sale for like 530 bucks
I’m thinking that it’s to keep it within budget. Certainly this CPU comes with the basic Intel cooler. So if they were to upgrade to something better, the price of the PC would need to be raised in order to buy that better cooler that did not come with the cpu
I know it's a mini case but this looks like it has a full size PSU in it? Anyone know it this is true?? I just want to be able to replace any pieces in the future if needed.
Hp doesn’t sell this psu. The only way u can get it is from eBay or somewhere else 3rd party used. You would have to do an RMA from HP themselves in order to have it replaced.

@tonywong303 thanks man! here's where I got it videohive.net/item/hexagons-glowing-background-05/28390330
just got the 15L with i7-13700f and Geforce 4060 8GB with 1Tb SSD. Would love to see how it compares to the one you reviewed
It’s the same exact pc, literally everything is the same as yours except for the cpu and gpu.
How good is it with ventilation? That small area with holes doesn't seem to be much air intake when the CPU/GPU is running full throttle.
Let’s say i were to play minecraft in 1080p with advanced ray tracing, would i get 60 fps stable?
i ordered one with a ryzen 5, and Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050
Did you chose the ryzen 5 5600G ? And does it work good on games like Gta V
@@NoName13636 👍
@@NoName13636 but 3d isn’t all cpu, gpu matters the most for games
@@Caveryst do you have the original ones or not?
I have a question I'm trying to get a good game in PC which one would you recommend
Would you recommend this to someone who’s new to pc gaming?
Nah
hey. i have a question is this PC good for PC VR because if it is i may buy it.
You should get this one. Upgrade when you needed. I'm going to buy one and build later
Can you upgrade pre built pcs like these fully? I just want something that gets me in the door
Is the hp victus with the amd configuration better or worse than the i5 or i7 version
I seen this on sale. I just really Wana play wow and other mmos will I be good? This would be my first pc
for stream it's a good pc ? i play in m'y ps5
would it be good to get now in 2024?
No, there are better out there.
@@yulawtheone3949any suggestions if i want a mini gaming pc? thanks
Which UPS should i use for this PC with 34inch Curved LED, Just for few minutes power backup
I just got this with ryzen 5 5600 and rtx 3050,16gb ram it runs most games on high and ultra
Can you recommend something for the 500-600 range?
Just got mine today. It’s my first PC so I’m really excited. And you just made me more excited. Never expected it to be the best, just better than this rinky-dink Xbox one 😂😂
I have a victus and I’ve have it for a little over a year now. I’m low on storage though and wanted to ask if you had any suggestions?
And for example, the only games I have are Minecraft, GTA, and Fortnite. (I wanted to get Modern Warfare but it was too much of a file so I didn’t have space for it)
My 11 year old son wants one of these. Will he be able to just get and play games or does it require more money and upgrades or something crazy like that?
some games will cost money, but there are many free to play games that are massively popular
If it did select the options below
Memory - select 32GB option (The more memory with Creative apps the better)
Storage - 1 TB PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ TLC M.2 SSD (Unless you already have a fast hard drive you can skip this and install your current one in this PC and just get the smallest option they have)
Graphics Card - NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 (8 GB GDDR6X dedicated)
Chassis and Power Supply - Front Bezel Ceramic White Metal with 500 W 80 Plus Bronze cerfified power supply
Hope this helps!
Finally some budget pcs 👀
I’m thinking about getting one but with a i7 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 and 16 gigs of ram rather than 8. I know it’s a decent built what what are people’s thoughts.
Yo I just bought about the hp 15L with the i513400f and a rtx3050, honestly it’s not that impressive you should at least get a 3060. it still does the job and I can play every game
This machine is 35% off atm. Does that make it a better option
Graphics-wise, I'd be using it mostly with Photoshop.
more then better for that!
Yes it will be amazing for that, and it's 400 dollars off right now
Should I get 3050 i7 or 4050 i5
does it heat up when playing roblox or minecraft?
The information in all your videos is top notch, however if I may offer a bit of criticism on vocal presentation: it sounds a bit too structured like you're giving a presentation in school or something. Vocal tone goes up while explaining something followed by vocal tone coming down at the end of the sentence or explanation. Tone up followed by tone down. This pattern continues for the whole video. I'm no vocal expert and I can't pinpoint what the fix would be other than to maybe sound more natural while going over the bullet points.
Please get a life.
What’s a good laptop or pc I buy to play the sims 4 with mods and custom content?
@chalacetheboymom4678 for something like that you'll be just fine with this HP Victus 15L in this review geni.us/Victus-by-HP-15L or I also recommend the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme geni.us/CyberPowerPC-i5-4060
bro. im planning to get this PC. so thank you for letting me know if its good or not
Can I remove the processor and put it in another PC?
im looking for a stream dedicated pc and was wondering is this good for that. I stream on twitch and youtube so now my old stream dedicated pc cant keep up
Can I use the Sata port that’s on the motherboard as power for a cool moon rgb controller or how can I get a sata power cable on the psu?
This PC is on sale for $569. So is that a great deal?
Would this be good for playing Minecraft Java with mods?
Justin please help! I’m deciding between Corsair vengeance i8200 with 14th gen 4090 vs the NZXT PLAYER:three prime with the same specs. I really love the cooler gif on the nzxt but the Corsair one looks so cool too. Overall Corsair is 500 dollars more expensive but I don’t care about the price at this point I just want something really good and smooth that lasts a long time! 😭
Can I use this for editing davinci 4K Videos ?
Hi Justin I am thinking of getting the cyber power gamer extreme 4060. Do you think I will be able to play games like Fortnite, rainbow six siege and valorant with a good fps? Also if you have time to answer what monitor would you recommend to go with that pc. Thanks and I am a new subscriber
I found the base model gtx 1660 for only 500$ is it a good deal
hey! i just wanted to know how much fps this pc would run on fortnite?
Can it play msfs?
Bro 46 decibels for us ps4 users is like heaven!
Is ryzen 5 5600x compatible with Erica 8 motherboard
My question is, can it run helldivers?
I got the 3050 version with 1 TB for 400 bucks wanted to see if it was a good deal
So after learning about this PC I still would need to know how well it runs Fortnite as that is what I mostly will be using if you could get back to me with that info that would be very helpful thanks.
Buget Pcs are one of the bets way to start with PC gaming

btw i am looking for a good vr gaming pc is this one good for vr
How does it deal with Diablo4 2K 60fps?
Mine doesn’t have a display port plug in thing
why i have it and my performance are ridiculous, this pc dont support fortnite beacause there are so many frame rates drops, the setting are at minimal.
do you have any advice?
Can I install a USB 3.0 PCI Express Card in this PC?
it has a expansion slot for a expansion card.
Can you do a vid of 15l vs 25l
someone please comment and tell me if it dose but dose it run fortnite smoothly?
why a basic intel cooler??
I’m thinking that it’s to keep it within budget. Certainly this CPU comes with the basic Intel cooler. So if they were to upgrade to something better, the price of the PC would need to be raised in order to buy that better cooler that did not come with the cpu
I know it's a mini case but this looks like it has a full size PSU in it? Anyone know it this is true?? I just want to be able to replace any pieces in the future if needed.
Yes. I have a 3 fan GPU in mine. It takes up the whole case but it fits lol
Can I put at 1080 to in there
how can I buy the power supply itself from this computer?
Hp doesn’t sell this psu. The only way u can get it is from eBay or somewhere else 3rd party used. You would have to do an RMA from HP themselves in order to have it replaced.
Hopefully someone can help me out hp victus 15l theres 2 storage drives C and D whats the best drive to play games off? Thanks
Can you check mike pc au and review the 3050 build
i cant find any where can u tell me how to change the V color
You search omen gaming hub in the searchbar
Can anyone tell me if this PC can run fortnite at a steady 240fps?
Can you 3d model on this pc
