I still don't get what is Sarri ball. Keep possession. Press high. Play from the back. That's it? How is it different from what Klopp does at liverpool, Pep at ManCity, and Barcelona. Most "modern" team, styled after Barca and Dortmund, are all about possession, pressing, play from the back.

tiki taka was lately exploited by modern teams. thus it needed an upgrade and that's what sarri is bringing..

it's very good to see Chelsea play this type of football. I have been thinking about the good players we have and why can't they play attracting football against big teams too. I can't remember the last time we played so well. AM happy and i hope we continue to work hard to better our performance week in week out

I am a football fan, who really likes to watch football all long day. And like to analyze how the football played in the matches.
So here comes the Sarriball or Sarrismo style, it is practically how Maurizio Sarri's football style played with Napoli in Italy.
That is,
1) to play with ball in possession but not like tiki-take, rather playing triangular passes that releases a third man in free space to attack in fast pace.
2) And the movement of the ball while in possesion should be very quick to look out the movement of the third man. In this way the opponent is really hard to dispossess them.
3) when they lose balls or not in possession, they press very high up on the pitch and get back the ball quickly in their possession.
4) for defensive part he needs defenders with pace and technical of ball at feet, to release and attack suddenly with precise long balls. Another way is to counter with pace to avoid counter attacks from opponent.
In summary, it is a way of playing football with fast moving passes to release freespaces to attack while in possession and pressing high up the pitch to counter attacks as well as defend high on the pitch to get back the ball and play again.
As of now Chelsea is not able to play the full way of this fast moving balls with will and freely. But still they are looking good on the pitch and entertaining to watch. So, it's very exciting to see how Chelsea develops with sarriball and entertain football fans.
This is an amazing style of play I love it so much. At least we the fans will now have d chance to witness entertaining football

How does Sarri ball differ from Klopp's Gegenpress?
Well as they say the best defence is attacking and not giving the ball away thats what we did against Newcastle and Boro and i got to say it pretty much worked Newcastle just parked a double decker and we still managed to score twice and unlucky for the goal we concede but david luiz he was sleeping

3 months later Sarri won Europa League and entered in champions League with 3rd position in the table, not bad.

Tbh i feel conte should have been given another chance. It's not his system that cost the season it's the players' injury and unable to getting back in form. Also lack of bringing in good players like this season. Although I'd say Conte did pretty well. Gave us one trophy but look at man city last season(2016-2017). They won nothing yet they keep hold of Pep.
But anyway, loving Sarri-ball. But it's too early to say anything. Let's see if he can win 2 or 3 trophies this year and again not fails next year. #KTBFFH

Sarriball has two limitations.
1. It leaves defense vulnerable as Kante is not intercepting, tacking and covering leaving the clumsy David Luiz vulnerable. Andreas Christensen should come and replace him as he is a great defender and has 95% pass accuracy.
2. It can't break the defense of those who put 9 men in front of goal.
