Funfact: When Alexander the Great marched into the Punjab region of modern-day Pakistan in 326 BCE, he encountered a fascinating and resilient people. This was the land of ancient tribes, whose warriors were said to be as mighty as demigods. According to some historical accounts and legends, one such tribe lived in the foothills of the Punjab, where their fierce, wild customs impressed Alexander’s Macedonian troops. The people Alexander met were believed to have similarities to the mythical hero Hercules. They were muscular and fearless, often clothed in the skins of animals they had hunted, with a lifestyle that reflected their closeness to nature. These warriors, proud of their physical strength and endurance, had a reputation for fighting with brute force rather than elaborate tactics. Like Hercules, they were men of raw power, and their animalistic garb gave them an air of mythic grandeur. The leader of these tribes was said to possess the qualities of a warrior-king, adorned in the hide of a lion, much like the depiction of Hercules himself. He led his people with unmatched valor, meeting Alexander not with fear, but with an equal sense of destiny. The two leaders exchanged respect before battle, as the legend goes, with Alexander admiring their strength and comparing them to the heroes of Greek mythology. Despite their bravery, they could not withstand the strategic brilliance of Alexander's forces, and after fierce battles, the region fell under his control. However, Alexander's admiration for these warriors led him to honor their customs, integrating some of their unique fighting styles and honoring their strength in his campaigns. This meeting of cultures - the disciplined Greek army and the wild, Herculean warriors of the Punjab - left a lasting imprint on the region. The Greeks admired the strength and simplicity of the people, while the locals were both fascinated and awed by the advanced tactics of the invaders. It was a moment where myth and history blended, and the legend of Hercules seemed to walk among men once more. He got the genes of our ancestors 💪

All the best equipment, training, coaches, diet, etc ultimately mean NOTHING because if you have a dream, and believe, and more importantly you're Blessed by the Magnanimous creator of the Universe, then there's nothing that can prevent your success, The mere word from Allah is sufficient, and it shall come to Pass, Arshad did not 'Bow down' in prostration to his diet coke, his coach, or his latest tik tok star, he gave thanks in gratitude to his creator, Man (and Woman) needs to know the boundaries that are set up, and be ever mindful of our purpose starting each day with sincere gratitude.

@@AS-hi7hd Wrong. Injury is part of the game and even Neeraj has some injuries routinely. With better facilities, diet, and coaching, Arshad is the only one who can break the World Record currently, in an Open Stadium with a legal tailwind. This emulates the conditions in which Zelezny did it.
@@lahoreaskari2651 injury is part of game, true. A person who gets injury more often due to their technique is more injury prone player. And these players lack consistency, for example, nadeem is not qualifying diamond League because he did not participated frequently, he needs more rest than a usual player
@@AS-hi7hd Arshad does not need to "qualify" for the Diamond League as he is the Olympic Champion and thus, he skipped it himself. Injury is usually due to lack of fitness and nature of the sport. I believe Neeraj is much fitter than Arshad and as such, Arshad really needs to work on his fitness with world class fitness instructors to stay consistent.
Salute to Arshad Nadeem's hard work and throw, our Arshad Nadeem from Pakistan has set a world record in throwing. We are very proud of Arshad Nadeem. ❤
Great video! Arshad's achievement at the Paris Olympics are massive for the sport and for his home nation of Pakistan. However, I could easily make the case that the Olympic Record can definitely be broken pretty soon. Reason 1: Anderson Peters from Grenada has already thrown a personal best of 93.07 metres (10 cm more than Arshad's 92.97 m) in his Diamond League debut in May 2022. If things work out for him in LA28, he could easily set a new record. Reason 2: The World Record is a whopping 98.48 metres held by Jan Železný of the Czechia. Although the WRs in most sports are ahead of the ORs, the gap is probably most pronounced in the Men's Javelin throw event. For instance, Arshad's 92.97 m is only the 16th ever best Men's Javelin throw ever. On the other hand, the women's javelin throw WR (72.28 m) and OR (71.53 m) are only 75 cm apart. The massive gap of 5.51 metres between the World and Olympic Records could easily be shortened by a really good throw by upcoming throwers either at LA28 or in Brisbane '32. There's just way too room for improvement there. I'm not trying to take anything away from Arshad's incredible achievement here, especially given his circumstances. It was quite surreal to witness Andreas Thorkildsen's 16-year-old Olympic Record being broken on live TV. However, I just don't believe that it can't be broken in the years to come
Face other rivals?? Neeraj was not an obstacle, when Arshad did not have a Javelin, Neeraj gave him one (in WAC 2023, Budapest), where were the Pakistanis who are proudly claiming his record as their honor then. They were so unsupportive that even a talent like Arshad might never see the light of the day, now that he has succeeded obviously there are many of them here to claim his success.
I love this video because not only it talks about his incredible athletic abilities but also his struggles. We could all learn a thing or two from arshad
came here for the science... but all bullshit and no science! Just emotional baggage and drama! Change the channel's name to "Drama behind things" ! . Ps. All Hail KING ARSHAD! What an absolute Legend!
Fun fact, this guy was scouted for the army but his coach refused to send him there. He was also faced with no help from the government to provide proper training facilities, even this time for his flight the money he used was contributed by his village and he used it well, went on to make history and ignite the flame of love for sports in our generation once again after the dissapointments we had seen from recent cricket team plays.

What a click bait title, I thought u gonna talk wbout record m science behind it and why it can't be broken but you just told his story.
What an amazing journey to the World Olympic Record... these are rare athletes and massive congrats to both Nadeem and Pakistan, from India.... Wishing Nadeem many more successes and breaking many more records in the future 🙏🏆
southasian american???? wth
Lol 😜
He is a south asian Pakistani employed by WAPDA (Pakistani Govt electric supply department Water And Power Development Authority) as a sportsman.
"Oops sorry I meant south asian european hehe" - American
I'm from Pakistan. Arshad Nadeem worked very hard and he enlightened our beloved country's name once again in the whole world. Alhamdulillah.
On behalf of all Patriotic Pakistanis, I say Thank you Arshad Nadeem.😍
I also say thank you to mother of Neeraj Chopra for her good wishes for Pakistan and Arshad Nadeem.😇 She has shown a very great heart and I wish each and every individual in the both countries show same sipirit and open heart for each other.
He’s not American, correction to be made at 5:48
True
He is our pride
He is Pakistani Athlete! Get ur facts right. 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
He is one of those people where they hurt you during the journey but once you win, suddenly everyone becomes a friend. It’s a great lesson on life, those setting obstacles are your enemies and they never change, just their faces.
Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra, two golden boys of Southeast Asia.
India and pakistan are not southeast asia -_-
chaat lay chopray ki ja ker
You meant Indian Subcontinent, there is no place like southeast asia .
Indians please try to digest..he is from Pakistan! lol
@@TorontoVibes-o1c So?
I’m so proud of him, may Allah grant him even more success. What an inspirational talented man ❤
Hero of Pakistan.
This man is a real champion, no funds no nothing... proper legend
This is an inspiring story but at what point was there any mention of this record never being broken? Terrible clickbait that doenst even try
dude is built like a cyborg! what an absolute beast of a body!
The Olympic record will be broken. In LA 2028, by Arshad Nadeem. 95m!
InshaAllah!
I don't think he can. he is very injury prone player, most probably he will take retirement in 2-3 years.
Our pride ❤ Arshad King ❤️
Great win by Arshad Nadeem. He is now the Olympic champion in 2024. Good throw too 92.97 meters.
2:45 throw of the century 🎉
PAKISTAN ZINDABAD
He is the GOAT , Arshad Broke the Olympics World Record Twice by throwing 2 times above the 90M mark.. and highest 92.97M Win.🐐🎉🙌🙌👏🇵🇰🇵🇰🎉🎉
Alhumdulilah
It was the vision of our Pakistan prime minister Mian Shehbaz Shareef. Arshad is a seedling sowed by him.
Lol 🤣🤣
Phir to Bangladesh won by 10 wickets 🤡
Sir apka vision hai 🥲🥹
Great 👍
Great video!
However, I just don't believe that it can't be broken in the years to come
5:47 south asian-american? seriously?
Arshad also wishes the same😂
This guy is pure Athleticism didnt even try to get close to the line, he knew he had the power to get the Gold medal 🥇. BIG UPS PAKISTAN 🇵🇰
Proud to be 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰!!!!!!
He got the medal on his own without any support from anyone well deserved 👏
Brilliant, inspiring video. Much love from Pakistan
Rare talent in current javelin world. He has the potential to break world record.
His throw was effortless in Olympic 2024, and I bet he can go beyond 95mtr with his built and training
We are proud of you brother.. May ALLAH bless you with more success.
Proud pakistani
With how bad of a state our country is right now, this man still gave us a reason to be proud of it. Respect to Mr Arshad.
Well done Arshad !
Well done Neeraj !!
Amazing rivalry and Friendship to push each other to the limit 🎉
Neeraj has nothing to do with this
@@humzanafees9348 correct me if I am wrong, but it has been mentioned multiple times that they have pushed each other as rivals and friends. You need such competition to go beyond.
