The founder of Shotokan (Funakoshi) took the Pinan katas and renamed them Heian to make it easier for Japanese speakers to pronounce. And also changed the order the Pinan katas was taught. So it went 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th Pinan kata. And also changed the names of the first two katas for this reason. So in shotokan Pinan Shodan = Heian Nidan Pinan Nidan = Heian Shodan All the other, Sandan, Yondan, Godan are the same, because Funakoshi keept the same order as the Pinan katas. But the kata in the video is called Pinan Shodan. The title of the video is incorrect
