My surname is Colquhoun, and I'm learning more about it's history, including this particular battle. Its a really good summary, the only thing I'd say is that Colquhoun is pronounced Ku'hoon, the l is silent, as is the qu lol
My family changed its name from MacGregor in 1604, they lost their lands, illegally seized by the Crown and two of them.were sold into slavery in Jamaica... they never returned.
