Most of the people think that boys learning kathak is a sin... even I m interested in kathak but my family is against it... hope I can learn kathak in future
Hello Aston, it's a general myth that Kathak is just for ladies. We have so many male Kathak gurus to follow, get inspired and to learn from. Indian classical dance forms are not just for a particular gender. You can always learn and practice Kathak at your pace and space regardless of who's supporting you or not.

Good advice. Just be careful not to overstretch while warming up. It can cause damage and will decrease your tatkar speed. Stretching once you are warm and during a cool down is most beneficial.
