Later I tried to join several classes but was unable to follow what is being taught because it was totally different from the previous one, but it was some other kind of kathak I didn't get that,so I stopped kathak for few years. Ma'am you are a wonderful teacher. Your videos are very nice. I have a doubt though. The speeds in this video are ekgun(1 beat for 1 matra), Dugun - 2 beats for 1 matra and Athgun (8 beats for 1 matra)... isn't it 4 beats for 1 matra in Chaugun ?

It's the most basic teental music, we all use it. Just the harmonium and tabla are working in teental.

Ma'am you are a wonderful teacher. Your videos are very nice. I have a doubt though. The speeds in this video are ekgun(1 beat for 1 matra), Dugun - 2 beats for 1 matra and Athgun (8 beats for 1 matra)... isn't it 4 beats for 1 matra in Chaugun ?
