Derek Peterson you beat me to it ! Just ordered a ride command general today and I'm wondering the same thing. Well, that & how much of a rats nest the wiring will be.
This is too late but may help others. You have to remove the top dash. The Ride Command is bolted in from the back, I assume the Rockford unit is too. The metal lower bracket profile only fits in one spot. Flip the dash over and spot your holes through the bracket. Drill the holes a little oversize. Loosly bolt the bracket through the dash, it needs to be loose as possible. Maybe, even longer screws. I also recomend buying the replacement bracket from Clarkdesingzllc on etsy. Mine broke the first try. (Yep, had to take apart again.) Do not install the lower shock pivot points until you reinstall the upper dash. The metal bracket has to fit under the front dash. The brackst slides under and then the battle begins. Reinstalling takes some cussing and swearing and stretching the top dash to get the clips back in the holes. I suggest dealer install, lol.
Hey POLARIS make sure to tell your customers that the brand new General windshield frame opening is out of square from the factory. Mine was 3/4 inches out of square and had to be sent out to a frame Straightening shop. Poor quality Polaris.
Did you do another video covering how to remove dash stereo to install the mount in the dash.
When is Polaris ever going to get the glass windshield back in stock?? We've been waiting 2 months, still nothing!
What about the Ride Command model? How does the Ride Command come out?

I dealing with this now trying to find a vid on it lol
